Re: Leave of Absence

Dear Dr. Jacinto:

I am writing this letter to request a 3-month leave of absence effective November 11 to February 11. I
have been wanting to leave since last year due to my uncontrollable emotions if things will turn out badly
on my end. I realized, I have fallen unpassionate about my routinary work and would complain every
single day I go to work. This does not mean I have not executed my responsibilities properly; I assure
you, all duties that were given to me as a teacher were accomplished to the best of my ability. My
problem is rather personal, and due to some unfortunate events, I finally have the courage to give myself
a break.

I have informed my coordinator to let me know if there is anything I can do to facilitate the transition of
my work to my substitute teacher. In case my services are needed during my absence, my colleagues can
reach me through my cellphone number or my email address.

I hope for your kind consideration.
