Opening Activities/Time 15’
Warm up Show the pictures of the pants. Ask the children to say pants. Repeat this process with
the others pictures. ask
Review / PK Repetition: After stick flashcard on the board a ship, a train, a bicycle, an airplane, a
truck, and a car (big enough for students see them clearly) then, ask students to repeat the name
of the mean of transportation.
New Content Ask the children to close their eyes. Place the pic of clothing around the classroom.
Indicates children to stand up and open your eyes. Say look for the pants. Have the child look for
the pants and bring them to me
Middle Activities/ Time 15’
Follow and say
Ask the children to open their books to page 39.
Ask them to point to number 1 and follow the yellow line with the finger. Have them say yellow,
yellow, yellow shoes!
Repeat the process until you finish.
Hot potato
Play some music ask the children to pass the ¨ hot potato¨ to the person next to them. Pause the
music. The child who is holding the ¨ hot potato¨ have to say a color + clothes items eg. Red cap
then other children say red, red, red cap! Repeat many times.
Closing Activities/Time 15’
Listen Dictation
Ask the children to draw the items of clothing you say in the color you say, for eg blue, blue, blue
pants! Repeat the process and ask them to draw other items of clothing as if you were doing a
picture dictation.
Homework
Read draw and color
Green, green, green T-shirt.
