SCHEME OF VALUATION
INTERNSHIP:
The parent Institution will examine/evaluate the student’s performance following its evaluation
method:
The interns will be evaluated through seminar presentation or viva-voce at the Institution,
(marks will be given by a group of experts from the Institution including the Mentor).
At Institution, the intern will be evaluated through a seminar/viva voce on his work, by a duly
constituted expert committee (One Internal and One external), on the following suggestive
aspects.
a) Nature of the Organization.
b) Initiative and Learning.
c) Acquisition of skill sets by the intern.
d) Internship Report and Documentation.
e) Duration of the Internship.
MARK DISTRIBUTION
a) Nature of the Organization – 30 Marks [Govt. – 30 Marks, Govt. Aided – 25 Marks,

INTERNAL ASSESMENT
To allocate marks for an internal assessment, it is important to consider the specific components
and criteria that reflect the learning objectives and skills want to evaluate. Here is a general
template based on the nature of the assessment and the subject:

LABORATORY COURSES:
For laboratory courses and model lab assessments, it's important to focus on both the practical
skills and the understanding of scientific concepts. Here's a suggested mark allocation that
emphasizes these aspects:
