Dear Parent,
"Festivals bring us closer to our roots and to each other."

Navratri celebration!!!

with their peers, we are pleased to inform you that Grades VI to X will be partaking in Navratri
celebrations during school hours on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

Learners are encouraged to wear traditional Navratri attire, please ensure that the attire is school
appropriate and does not include crop tops, off-shoulder tops or any other clothing that violates
the school’s dress code.

Learners are NOT allowed to carry dandiya sticks for the same.
Diwali celebration!!!

Diwali is an occasion to celebrate victory over defeat, light over darkness, awareness over
ignorance, an occasion to celebrate life.

A Potluck party to celebrate this sparkling festival is an excellent way to instill this beautiful
tradition in our learners, as it teaches them the value of sharing, the joy of giving and the
importance of coming together as a community.

Our learners of Grades VIII - X will have a Potluck party on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
The party will be organised during lunchtime within the respective classes.

School lunch will not be provided on Thursday, October 24, 2024 to avoid the wastage of food.

Learners are encouraged to wear traditional attire, please ensure that the attire is school
appropriate and does not include crop tops, off-shoulder tops or any other clothing that violates
the school’s dress code.

Let's light up the day with delicious food and joyous moments and make Diwali special by
embracing the spirit of togetherness!!

Regards,
JBCN International School, Borivali
