Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly


skilled Psychology Faculty Teacher who will
also take on the role of Resident
Psychologist. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for delivering high-quality
education in psychology, providing academic
and counseling support to students, and
contributing to the academic and
extracurricular growth of the department. The
successful candidate will also engage in
administrative responsibilities and research to
enhance the department’s profile.

Teaching Responsibilities:  Teach a minimum of 4-6 modules per


semester in various areas of
psychology, both at the undergraduate
and graduate levels.
 Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures
and seminars in psychology using
innovative teaching methods,
technology, and real-world
experiences.
 Mark student assessments, complete
cover sheets, and ensure all markings
and related tasks are reviewed by the
Coordinator before being given to
students.
 Facilitate morning and evening
classes as per the timetable.
 Monitor student progress and
provide feedback to students regularly.
Advising and Counseling:  Provide academic advising to students,
assisting with assessment completion,
and addressing academic concerns.
 Offer counseling support to students,
helping facilitate their personal and
professional development.
 Serve as an advisor to the Student
Council or other relevant student
organizations, supporting initiatives
that enhance student life.

 Fulfill necessary administrative duties,


including program coordination,
Administrative Responsibilities: assessment activities, and
accreditation-related responsibilities.
 Conduct parents’ meetings when
required, to address concerns and
progress reports.
 Participate in faculty meetings and
collaborate with colleagues to address
urgent challenges, provide feedback,
and offer strategic initiatives.

Community Engagement:  Build and maintain relationships


within the psychology department
through networking, industry
partnerships, and collaborative
projects.
 Facilitate opportunities for students to
engage with industry professionals,
through internships and experiential
learning.

 Engage in scholarly research within


the field of psychology, contributing to
Research Responsibilities: academic knowledge through
publications in journals, books, or
other scholarly outlets.
 Pursue external research funding
opportunities and collaborate with
colleagues on research projects.
Working Hours and Conditions:  Office Operations: Saturday to
Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00
PM.
 Working Hours: 8 hours per day with
a 15-minute break.
 Off Day: One off day per week,
allocated during the weekdays or
weekends, subject to approval by the
Line Manager.
 Friday: Work-from-home day.
 Additional Hours: In case of urgent
academic needs, the employee must be
available to report 48 hours per week,
even during off days.

 Bachelor’s degree in Psychology


(Master’s or higher preferred).
Qualifications and Requirements:  At least 1-2 years of teaching
experience in psychology or a related
field.
 Experience in counseling and
providing support to students.
 Ability to use innovative teaching
methods and technology.
 Strong research background or
interest in scholarly publications or
research projects.
 Excellent communication,
organizational, and interpersonal
skills.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment and manage multiple
responsibilities.
