9 m, 1200mm dia. R.C.C. column grid. The slab for porch is two-way ribbed / waffle floor. Give
following details to explain construction.
a) Plan of two-way ribbed floor for the canopy. Scale 1:50 showing reinforcement details.
b) Detailed part section of two-way ribbed floor to scale 1:10.
2) An office floor of a multi storey structure having floor plate size 18 M X 28 M excluding service
cores and toilets to be designed using flat slab flooring system with floor height of 3.5 M.
a) Draw plan at suitable scale showing columns, column strips and middle strips with
dimensions and also, one enlarged grid bound by four columns with reinforcement details.
b) Give part section through column and column strip showing reinforcement details.
3) A stilt car parking layout to be designed for a building admeasuring 48 M X 36 M using flat slab
system considering the stilt height is 3 M. Don’t consider lift and staircase block at stilt level to
access the building.
