G 2013 SACCO
T.G 2013 is an abbreviation for Thurgem 2013 Alumni. The Sacco is founded by
2013 students and is aiming to bring Thurgem primary alumni of 2012, 2013 and
2014 together for development and beneficial purposes.
EXECUTIVES.
The Sacco used Democratic rights its members to elect the leaders. The following
are the officials for T.G 2013 Sacco.

MEMBERSHIP.
The Sacco aims for a maximum of 30persons. The registration date was
agreed to be 20th December, 2020 at a fee of ksh. 100. Anybody who
may wish to join after that date was then agreed to pay ksh. 200 for
registration. The executive is calling for more registration so that the
maximum number required can be achieved.
All members have registered for the Sacco MUST adhere to terms and
conditions of the group.
The members must also be active in all aspects of Sacco’s development.
The aim of everyone must remain working together for the success of
Sacco’s goals.
Respect to each other and to the executive is also encouraged.
Personal issues is prohibited in the group/Sacco.
No insults, hatred or any misconduct is allowed.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES.
The main aim of T.G 2013 is the Mutual benefit of its members and the Sacco.
Here are the aims and objectives of the Sacco.
• Savings for future and individual benefits – the Sacco is looking forward for
its members to pay at least ksh. 250 after every 2weeks from January 2021
onwards.out of which, ksh. 50 will go for Sacco’s account and 200(+) will go
for individual account. The savings will then be shared at the end of every
year where each member will receive the amount equivalent to what he/she
has saved. While ksh. 50 for the Sacco will remain in Sacco’s account for
development & investments since this is Sacco’Sacco’s money and not
individual’s.
• Giving out Loans – Money is something that everyone may need urgently.
There4, the Sacco is also meant to meet the financial needs of its members
in time of emergency. By giving out loans , both members and the Sacco will
end up benefitting. As the Sacco will hang up on the little profit that it will
generate on top of every loan given out.
• Projects and investments – The Sacco is aiming to come up with various
projects, invest in them and hopefully generate some profits from them.
NB.. More objectives will be added upon agreement by members and
verification by executive.
FINANCIAL SOURCES.
1) Members contribution of ksh. 50 for the Sacco and at least 200 for individual
accounts every 2weeks .
2) Registration fee which goes direct to Sacco’s account.
3) Harambee – The Sacco will carry online harambee on a monthly basis. Where
one of the member will be the guest of honor. Guest of honor for any particular
month will be required to pay a minimum of Ksh. 300 and no maximum . All the
remaining members will then be required to pay signatory fee of any amount to
support Guest of honor.
4) Profits from loans and other investments. Any loan given out or any project
invested will be expected to generate profis. These profits will go to Sacco’s
account.

SACCO’S REGISTRATION & ACCOUNT.
The were a lot of suggestions on whether the Sacco should be registered under
Kenya Saccos and bank account be created. However, after a lot of consutations
and considerations by the executive, the registration and creation of bank account
has been considered as a long term plan. This is due to the reasons that we
decided not to share yet. We have there4 decided to use M-PESA for a start . Then
during our first phase of sharing (December 2021), we shall have observed
everything we’re yet to know. And if we’re successful with our plans, we will move
to the next level where registration and bank account will follow immediately. As
per now, members we’re sorry, we can’t rush in doing things without knowing that
repercussions we may face. Its better to try first and know where to improve on .
On M-PESA, all transactions will be channelled through Treasurer no 07-1151-
5979 – Esther Oliech Aluoch. The executive would wish to assuere you that all your
money will be safe and everything in terms of “usage of line” or “line given out to
someone else” has been taken care of.
We would also like to reassure you that any inconveniency or loss, the executive
will take the responsibility to repay any lost cent.
TERMS ANS CONDITION
A_On Joining.
i} Any member who has joined or who will join the Sacco must pay registration
fee of ksh. 100 for those who joined before 20th. Dec 2020, and ksh. 200 for those
who from today onwards.
ii} Rgistration fee is non- refundable since it’s for Sacco and not individual
savings.
iii} All members who have registered MUST ADHERE to terms and conditions of
the Sacco and must give total respect to the executive and the Sacco members.
iv} 2012 & 2014 Candidates must read and understand everything in this
document. They must adhere to all terms and conditions ad respect everything in
this document regardless of their age.
v} No one is allowed to join and rule us or plan for us, although suggestions are
welcomed and every member has a right to suggest, compalain and comment but
do all these in a manner that maitain respect and peace among members .
B_On Contributions and Goals.
i} All contibution to be sent through 07-1151-5979 – Esther Oliech
Aluoch.
ii} All registered member must be active in all goals of the Sacco.
iii} Contributions must be sent on time, that is date 15th and 30th of every month
from January 2021. This will give treasurer easy time to keep records.
Iv} Harambee will be held on 30th of every month and all members all members
must be “Guest of honor” at one point. (That is, if member A is the Guest of honor
this month, member B will be next month and it goes it goes that way until all
members get guest of honor)….. Guest of honor must pay at least ksh. 300-
thereafter ALL MEMBERS MUST pay a signatory fee of any amount in support of
Guest of honor..
- Any member who will not attend the harambee or send their signatory fee
feel face a penalty of ksh. 50 for any harambee they don’t attend or send
their signatory fee. And if they are too sturbon to pay the penalty fee, the
chairperson will instruct treasurer to deduct the penalty from individual
saving account.
v} The treasure will liaise with the executive to give Financial report on 5th of
every month from 5th February 2021 onwards.
vi} Members must keep their transactions messages and notifications for
reference and transparency incase of any inconveniencies.
Vii} The executive will take harsh actions to any member who attempt to reverse
the money after sending to treasure. Such person may end up facing heavy
penalties.
C_On Loans.
i} All members will be required to take loans.
ii} Members will be allowed to take loans only after being active for a
minimum of 6months. Meaning we will start issuing loans to active
members from June 2021.
iii} Members will be given loan of any amount but not equal or higher
than what their individual savings account reads.
iv} Maximum of 3persons will be given loan at a time to avoid
confusion and hard time that may come with it. Only after the 3 has
repaid their loans, the next 3 can be given.
v} Every loan given out will be refunded with 10% profit on top and
must be refunded within 1month.
vi} Failure to repay loan on time,the additional 5% penalty will be
added on top. Therefore, the person will repay the loan with a profit of
15% within 1month + 1week. Failure to meet the extended 1 week,
the executive will take the necessary actions.
D_On Leaving.
The Sacco would not argue anyone to leave but in case of unavoidable
reasons, read and understand all terms to avoid problems.
- Registration free – non refundable.
- All Harambee money – non refundable.
- No shares from profits on loans, projects and investments.
- Sacco’s fee of ksh. 50 every 2 weeks – non refundable.
- If you owe Sacco any loan , no money will be given to you on
leaving .
- If you have not been paying signatory fees during harambee, they
will all be calculated as a penalty of ksh.50 per harambee . Then
the sum will be deducted from your individual savings, then the
rest will be given to you.
- For any member who will be active in all aspect of the Sacco,
paying all required contributions .Has no any financial issues with
the Sacco, The person will receive all his/her individual’s savings
plus 50% of sum of his ksh. 100 monthly Sacco’s contribution as
an appriation fee.
