Worsted / Aran weight yarn in colors BLO- back loops only
White, Black, Green Light Pink, Dark Pink ch(s)- chain(s)
3.25 mm hook dc- double crochet
Fiber fill stuffing FLO- front loops only
Yarn needle hdc- half double crochet
Stitch marker rnd- round
(2) 8 mm safety eyes rpt- repeat
sc- single crochet
sc2tog- single crochet 2 stitches together
sk- skip
Measurements: sl st- slip stitch
4 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide st(s)- stitch(es)

Fasten off leaving a 6 inch yarn tail. Weave in


all other ends. Repeat rounds 1-9 until you
have a total of 10 scales.

Pin scales to the skin (back) piece. With


yarn tail, whip stitch the scales to the flesh
piece working in rnd 9 of the scale and the
back loops of the skin piece to join them
together. See pictures 3 and 4.
