ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
The school conducted an orientation session for new admissions from Nursery to Class XII, welcoming students and
parents into the school community. Principal Ms. Shweta Oberoi addressed the gathering, introducing the school’s
vision, academic structure, and facilities. She emphasized the school’s commitment to holistic education, student
development, and a nurturing learning environment.

The session familiarized parents with the curriculum, assessment methods, and school policies, ensuring a smooth
transition for students. It set the tone for an enriching academic journey, fostering collaboration between educators
and families. Teachers and coordinators interacted with parents, addressing their queries and providing insights into

HAWAN CEREMONY
THE FIRST DAY OF NEW SESSION
“A Journey of Thousands miles begins with a single step”.

The commencement of the new academic year on Tuesday April 01, 2025 was marked with a Hawan ceremony
seeking the blessings of the almighty for a blessed year ahead. Principal Ms. Shweta Oberoi, Academic Advisors Ms.
Sudesh Thakran and Ms. Ritu Thakran and Headmistress Ms. Archana Rathi, students and teachers prayed
reverently to the Almighty for wisdom, courage and determination to always be righteous in their words and deeds.
Gayatri Mantra and holy Shlokas were chanted and prasad was distributed at the end.

MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
“She didn’t wear a cape, but her love made her superhuman”.

Mother's Day was celebrated with lots of love, laughter, and smiles! It was a special day to
thank our amazing mothers who fill our lives with joy and care. We were honoured to have
them join us for the celebration, which added warmth, joy, and love to the event. The children
came dressed in their cutest outfits, ready to make their moms feel special. The mothers
participated enthusiastically in games, ramp walks, singing, and creative activities, creating a
magical atmosphere.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY
“A leader is someone who knows the way, shows the way, and goes the way”.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 was held on Saturday, 17 May 2025
in the school auditorium. The event marked the formal appointment of the new Student
Council, celebrating leadership and responsibility. The ceremony began with the lighting of the
lamp, symbolizing wisdom. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Divyanshu
Agrawal, Distinguished Advocate of the Supreme Court and Former President of Rotary Club,
Midwest, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Shikha Agrawal. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Shantanu
Kushwaha, was also warmly welcomed. Also in attendance were Academic Advisors Ms. Sudesh
Thakran and Ms. Ritu Thakran. The event was a resounding sucess, making a new chapter in
the leadership journey of school.

from 20th to 23rd May 2025. The expedition was a journey of discovery, joy, and lasting friendships. The experience
provided students with valuable exposure to local culture, biodiversity, and sustainable living practices, leaving them
with cherished memories and a renewed appreciation for the environment.

TRIP TO JIM CORBETT


Students of class VI-VIII had a recreational as well as educational trip to
Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand from May 26 to May 28, 2025.
They enjoyed an exciting body surfing activity, evenings were filled with
laughter, snacks, and bonding through various adventure games and
activities in camp. The group also took part in swimming pool rafting, the
Zip Line, tent pitching, and pug mark study, which sparked curiosity and
team spirit. Journal writing sessions allowed students to reflect on their
experiences, while lively music and dance added a joyful touch to the nights.
A peaceful sunrise trek brought moments of calm and appreciation for
nature’s beauty. The trip concluded with a cheerful prize distribution

School clubs are integral to the holistic development of students, offering opportunities beyond the traditional academic
curriculum. They serve as platforms for students to explore interests, develop skills, and engage in community-building
activities. The various clubs introduced in school for the session 2025-26 are:

CHARTER INSTALLATION
CEREMONY 2025-26

DIS proudly hosted the inaugural Interact Club Charter Installation Ceremony with great enthusiasm and decorum
on Thursday 24 April 2025 in the school auditorium. The primary objective of the ceremony was the formal
installation of the newly appointed office bearers for the academic session 2025–26, including the official induction
of President Rajveer Singh Marwah and the entire Interact Club core team. The event marked a significant
milestone in promoting student leadership, community service, and collaboration with the Rotary Club of Delhi
Midwest and the Rotaract Club of Delhi Genesis Midwest. The occasion brought together students, Rotarians, and
faculty members in a spirit of celebration, commitment, and service. Mr. Mahesh Rajdev, President of the Rotary
Club of Delhi Midwest, officially called the meeting to order and carried out the installation of the Interact Club
office bearers. Dignitaries, including Principal Ms. Shweta Oberoi, Education Advisors Ms. Sudesh Thakran and
Ms. Ritu Thakran and other esteemed Rotarians and Rotaractors graced the stage for the charter installation
ceremony. Captivating and vibrant dance performances enriched the celebration and took the august gathering on
a journey of creativity and expression, blending rhythm, melody and emotion

INTERACT CLUB PROJECTS


MISSION KUDRAT
In a powerful ode to environmental stewardship, the school celebrated Project Kudrat — an eight-day sustainability
initiative — with the vision of "Act Green, Live Clean." Led by the Interact Club, the initiative blended awareness,
action, creativity, and collaboration to instill a culture of eco-consciousness among students and faculty. Students
pledged to adopt sustainable habits, while activities like the Eco-Brick Challenge and Eco-Poster Making Contest set
the tone for active engagement.

CERVICAL CANCER VACCINATION DRIVE
The School successfully hosted a Cervical Cancer Vaccination Drive on May 3rd, 2025, in collaboration with the
Rotary Club of Delhi Heritage, Rotary Club of Delhi West, and Rotaract Club of Delhi Genesis Midwest. This
significant health initiative was further supported by medical facilities provided by Apollo Hospital.
The drive aimed to spread awareness and provide preventive healthcare against cervical cancer among adolescent
girls, highlighting the importance of early vaccination in reducing future risk. Medical professionals from Apollo
Hospital ensured a safe, informative, and well-coordinated vaccination process.

Blood Donation & Heath Checkup Camp


On March 15, 2025, The Rotaract Club of Delhi Genesis Midwest & Interact Club Of the school in collaboration
with Max Hospital, Netravision & Clove Dental organised a Free Health & Dental Check-up Camp along with
Mahadan10.0 -A Blood donation camp with free Thalassemia test. Certificate of Appreciation was given to the
heroes of blood donation .

As part of the Interact Club’s Project Veer,


students participated in a heartfelt initiative
where they wrote letters to our brave soldiers.
Through their words, the students expressed
deep gratitude for the soldiers' courage,
dedication, and selfless service in protecting the
nation. This meaningful activity aimed to instill
patriotism, empathy, and respect for the armed
forces among the young minds. The letters, filled
with warmth and appreciation, are a small
tribute to the real heroes of our country.

"Built to Think. Programmed to Win."
At our Robotics Club, innovation meets real-world problem-solving. We've engineered a Smart Dustbin that opens
automatically, promoting hygiene and automation. Our Line Following Car showcases precision navigation using
sensors and logic. In class projects, we developed a functional Automatic Toll Gate, integrating smart control systems.
Together, we build, code, and create technology that moves the future forward.
