Audition Lines for: Ignimbus

Ignimbus is the patron god of storms and the skies; he is also a


tired and overworked power plant mechanic in the realm of the gods.
Iggy is friendly, loyal, and far too forgiving. He likes to take care
of people. His demeanor is subdued, sleepy, and tense. He often
speaks in an airy and distracted tone; one could say he seems to have
his head in the clouds. (He is clouds).

He is approachable, loyal to a fault, and a tired workaholic.

Looking for a lower drowsy sort of voice

Line one

Ignimbus
(speaking very quickly)
Sorry, no time to chat. The plant in Darkwoods just went down again-
the generator exploded?? Anyways I gotta get over there right now
because I’m the only one that knows how to fix it AND the only one
who won’t get electrocuted in the process. So sorry! Bye!

Line two

Ignimbus
I miss being a cloud- it was nice, y’know? I was everywhere and
nowhere all at once, simultaneously every rain drop, every strike of
lightning, every billow in the sky..and yet I was never in any rush.
All would happen in time…I am so fucking tired.

Line three

Ignimbus
I want to start this meeting off with thanking you all for indulging
me..even though all three of you were over an hour late. Jax, I can't
really schedule generator maintenance without the reports from the
factories. I haven’t gotten any from you in a few months..so whenever
you get the time I’d love to see those. And Oliver, I keep getting
complaints that no one is getting responses from God Resources; I’d
really appreciate it if you could check your email for me, since I'm
not qualified to answer those.. And Hurst…Thanks for coming.

Naw, it's cool. I’ma just sit down for a sec, I’m not gonna… fall…
