Subject: Opening of online nominations for 2025-26 under INSPIRE - MANAK Scheme.
Sir/Madam,

As you may be aware that INSPIRE - MANAK Scheme is a flagship program implemented by this
Department with a basic objective to instil creative/innovative thinking among school students.
2. The MANAK. Scheme envisages to target one million original innovative ideas from students studying
in more
than five lakh middle and high schools across the country and selecting the best ideas having potential
to cater to societal needs and applications, thereby motivating these students to take these ideas forward for
prototype and product development.

3. It has been decided to include students of Class XI and Class XII in the eligibility criteria of the Scheme.
Thus, from this year onwards school students studying in class 6-12 will be eligible to submit their ideas. It
may kindly be noted that the registered schools under the INSPIRE - MANAK Scheme, in each financial year.
can nominate 5 best ideas from their schools, through online mode, in E Management of INSPIRE — MAN AK
Scheme (E-M1AS) web portal of the Department using the link: www.inspireawards-tist.um .tn.

4. The online nominations for 2025-26, will resume from 15th June, 2025. The schools will be able to
submit their online nominations till 15th September, 2025.

5. I request you to please direct all the concerned State and District functionaries, to apprise all the schools
under their purview, about the inclusion of class 11 and 12 students and opening of online nominations under
the MANAK scheme for 2025-26 and the given deadline, The schools may be suitably informed to register
and submit their nominations well before the given deadline to avoid last minute inconveniences
encountered due to heavy load in the E-IVIIAS web portal.

6. I also look forward to your kind cooperation in further expanding the outreach of this unique scheme,
by expediting the registration of sch et to be covered under this scheme, from your State/UT, so that,
young students with an appef ;A d innovation can be provided with rightful platform to
showcase their talent.
