TOURNAMENT
RULES
1. System of Play: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE
Swiss System with 9 rounds.
2. Time Control: 20 mins with 5 seconds increment from move no. 1 (Rapid)
3 mins with 2 seconds increment from move no. 1 (Blitz)
3. Tie Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to e ect. The Cash prizes
however will not be shared. One Player get One Higher Prize only.
4. Electronic Devices: All electronic items including wrist watches (all type of watches) are
not allowed in the tournament hall.
5. Parents and accompanying persons are not allowed inside tournament.
6. Due to any unforeseen scenario, if the event needs to be cancelled, then Udaipur
District Chess Association obligation is limited to refunding the entry fee paid by the
players.
7. All outstation Players & Parents has must ID proof for staying.
8. The organizing committee has right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any
reason.
9. Eligibility: The tournament is open for all players. All rated and unrated players are
eligible to participate. No Age limit.
10. Protests: If any against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with a
protest fee Rs. 1000 within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident to the appeals
committee. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld. Before the
commencement of the Tournament, appeals committee of five members will be
formed.
11. Withdrawals: A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the Chief
Arbiter in writing.
12. Indian Income Tax Act and Rules will be applicable.
