1. Read part of an email from your HR Manager about a new employee.

Mr Nkomo Kasaba is starting work here next week as a Sales Executive.


Please organise an induction day so that he can meet everyone and learn as much about the
company and the processes as possible: design; production; marketing; customer service.
Thank you for your help.

Write an email to Mr Kasaba:

• welcoming him to the company.


• informing him when the induction day is.
• outlining what is going to happen on that day.
• telling him what to do if he has any questions about the day.
