Third Term Examination Policy

1. Term 3 examinations for Yr.3–9 will be conducted in school with


physical attendance of students from 16th June to 24th June 2025.

2. Year 3-9 students will be having one session examination from 08.00 am to
10.00 am while session ( 2) is for revision from 10.30 am to 01.00 pm.

3. Yr. 10 students will be having two sessions. Session (1) from 08.00 am to
10.00 am while session (2) from 11.00 am to 01.00 pm.

4. Students in Yr.10 will be in school the whole day if they have session
( 1) and session (2) on that day.

5. Written examinations will be conducted only from Year 3 upwards whereas


on going formative assessment will be conducted for KG, Yr.1& Yr.2 during
the school hours.

6. On the examination days, KG, Yr.1 & Yr.2 will have regular classes as per
the school timetable.

7. The duration of exams for all subjects Yr. 3– 9 is 1 hour and 30 minutes
(except for English, Mathematics and Arabic Papers 1&2 is 2 Hours
duration).

8. ICT Theory and Practical examinations will be conducted for Yr. 3 to 10


during the school hours, check the ICT exam timetable published on the
school portal.

9. Year 3-9 Qatar History examinations will be conducted on 16th June during
the school hours.

10. Year (3-10), If the absence of the student is due to illness, the student
must provide a valid medical certificate that is acceptable to the
Principal. The medical certificate will be subjected to verification and if
it is found to be not genuine, the student can be te rminated from the
school.

11. The Year 9 English, Mathematics, Science and ICT exam paper will assess
prior skills and concepts developed during Terms 1 and 2. Although the exam
includes Term 3 topics, it will focus on applying knowledge to new situations,
which may include concepts from Terms 1 and 2 that students must be able
to use without specific revision or preparation of previous syllabus.

12. It's important for students and their parents to communicate with the
Parent Relation Officer (PRO) of the school in writing in the case of an
illness-related absence. Valid medical certificate must be submitted to
the school within three days from the date of the absence due to
illness. This is to ensure that the student's absence is properly
recorded and the necessary arrangements is made.

13. If a student is absent in a particular subject for the End of Term 3


examinations due to illness and his medical certificate is valid and
accepted by the school, the student will be given one retest opportunity.
The school will schedule a common date and time for all eligible
students to take the retest. The school will inform the parents of eligible
students about the date and time of the retest through e-
communication, SMS, and Gazette. If a student is absent for the retest
exam even with medical certificate, students will not be allowed to take
another retest and the score for that particular exam will be considered
as a zero.

14. Year 10 Mathematics exam paper consists of two parts: Part (1) without
calculator while Part (2) is with the calculator. Revision materials are the same
for both papers content.

15. Students should be in regular uniform (not P.E) on all exam days

16. Students are required to bring all the stationery necessary to write their
examinations.

17. Students who are planning to stay for revision, they should bring all the
necessary resources (Textbook, Revision Booklet) for the next exam day.

18. Parents who wish to collect the students early after the exam may use the
early exit slip uploaded on the portal.

19. All exam procedures will be as per the school policies, and exams will be
conducted as per the Exam Timetable published on the school portal.
