DESIGNATION Technical Architect Manager / Solution Architect
WORK LOCATION Atlanta GA USA 30328
PROJECT DESCRIPTION The telecommunications industry, characterized by its complexity, requires robust middleware solutions in BSS
BSS- Business Support System) area to seamlessly deliver a mix of voice, data, and wireless services to
customers through various applications. To address this need, we developed the BIS Middleware (Business
Integration Services) layer, serving as a bridge between the ICOMs billing system (Netcracker product) and
various telecommunication applications, as well as external agencies such as Adobe and Equifax (for credit
checks), under a secure authorization framework.
The BIS Middleware efficiently manages 270+ services, ensuring secure, reliable, resilience and streamlined
integration across the ecosystem, enabling enhanced operational efficiency and superior customer
experiences.

PROJECT NAME Telephone Operation Service Systems (TOSS)
PROJECT DURATION Jan 2017 to Sep 2017
DESIGNATION Technical Architect (Full stack)
WORK LOCATION Atlanta Georgia USA.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Telephone Operation Service Systems (TOSS) project aimed to replace the legacy TOSS application by
2016. TOSS is a web-based application designed to manage and transmit Local Number Portability (LNP),
Directory Listings (DL), and Pre-Order (PO) requests to incumbent carriers.
Key Features and Functionalities:
• User Interface: Provides a user-friendly interface for back-office personnel to create, update, and
cancel LNP and DL requests.
• Web Services Integration: Exposes web services to systems like TAPS and DAPS to support key
operational functions.
• Messaging Standards and Formats:
o Adheres to industry guidelines for messaging standards and sequencing.
o Accommodates carrier-specific business rules and messaging formats:
▪ Verizon: EDI format
▪ AT&T and CenturyLink: XML format
• Message Sequencing: Built to handle the sequencing of message types, including confirmations and
acknowledgments, as required by industry guidelines.
• Error Reduction: Retrieves customer data via carrier-specific interfaces to validate Customer Service
Record (CSR) data entry before LNP submission, reducing errors and minimizing manual
intervention.
• Automated Data Transmission: Formats LNP and DL requests, transmits them to carriers, and
supports return messaging to TAPS and DAPS to eliminate swivel-chairing actions (manual data re-
entry).
Flexibility and Integration:
TOSS is constrained to carrier-specific interfaces, meaning any changes to a carrier’s interface require
updates to TOSS. The system is designed for seamless integration with multiple carriers while adhering to their
unique formats and messaging protocols

PROJECT NAME Porting Out Support Systems (CPOSS)
PROJECT DURATION Aug 2016 to Jan 2017
DESIGNATION Technical Architect
WORK LOCATION Mumbai India/ Atlanta GA USA.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Customer Port Out Support System (CPOSS) is a critical application designed to comply with the FCC
mandate requiring to provide account information and mechanized support for Local Number Portability (LNP)
to competing carriers.
Key Functionalities:
• Customer Information Requests:
o Competing carriers can request customer account information, which CPOSS provides
either through a user interface (UI) or web services.
• Port Request Submission:
o CPOSS enables competing carriers to submit Port requests via the UI or web services.
o The system validates each Port request and either accepts or rejects the request based on
predefined rules.
• Automated Work Orders:
o Upon validation of a Port request, CPOSS programmatically generates a telephony
disconnect work order in ICOMS to terminate the customer’s service.
Users and Consumers:
• Internal Users: Cox’s ROC (Regional Operations Center) personnel.
• External Carriers: Competing carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, FTR, and Neustar.
Key Impact:
CPOSS streamlines the Local Number Portability process, automates work order creation, and ensures
seamless communication with competing carriers through secure interfaces, improving operational efficiency
and compliance with regulatory mandates.
