SETUPS
1. Packing Speed: The user can use “up” and “down” arrows to speed up or slow down the
machine. Or the user can press the speed column directly and key in a value to decide the
packing speed he/she wants.
2. Counter: The counter shows you the number of total packed products. Press the "Clear key"
2 seconds to reset the number back to 0. The counter can be switch off from the “Switch
Control” page
3. Packing Length: Packing length means your bag length (Between 2 eye-marks). The user
needs to input a value for his/her new product before a formal production. The user must stop
the machine before changing this value. Sync reset is necessary whenever packing length is
changed.
4. Product Length: Product length means the physical length of your product. The value is
always smaller than the packing length. The user must stop the machine before changing this
value. Sync reset is necessary whenever product length is changed.
5. Eye-Mark Position: Use it to bring the artwork on the printed foil forward or backward.
Note (a): Make sure printed film with eye marks is applied.
Note (b): Make sure the photo cell beam is correctly focused on the eye marks.
Note (c): The change of eye-mark position is setup by mm difference.

6. Product Feeding Position: Use it to bring your product forward or backward by mm
difference.
7. Printer Position: Use it to move the date forward or backward showing on the film
8. Inch Move: Turn on this switch and the packing machine will stay in Inch-move status. The
user can press and hold on “Start” button and operate the packing machine at a very slow
speed. Once the user release the button, the machine will stop immediately.
9. Heater Switch (ON/OFF): The switch can turn on or turn off all the heaters.
10. M3 Disable: The user may disable the end sealer at any time necessary. The machine is
moving as usual only without end sealer cutting.
11. Bar Heater: For bar heater heating control. On/Off: Use is to switch on/off the heating.
12. Eye-mark: Turn on/off the switch and realign the photo cell position and the machine can
locate the eye marks on the foil.
Note (a): Make sure printed film with eye marks is applied.
Note (b): Make sure the photo cell beam is correctly focused on the eye marks.
13. Feeding: Turn the switch that connecting the front end conveyor product feeding.
14. No-Product Wait: Turn on the switch and the machine seal cutting and film feeding stop
without stopping the conveyor running. The machine moves again when the conveyor sensor
senses any incoming product.
15. Printer: Turn on the switch and the machine starts to send signal to the ink jet printer. The printer will
do the printing job whenever the machine runs. (Please make sure the printer cables are connected to
the packing machine.)
16. M.I.S.: Turn the switch to detect any misplaced items. The end sealer skips any of such items
without stopping the machine.
17. SYNC: 3 axis motors of this machine needs a sync reset under the following situations (a)
initializing the packing machine (b) changing to a new product (c) changing the package
length (d) activating “Eye-mark” function (e) Product Jam.
18. Alarm: Showing current status.

Use SYNC

Use Film Reject for
film feeding test.
By entering this page, the user can manually operate the machine. Every switch controls one certain
function.
Conveyor Inch Move: When the switch is turned on, the user can use “Start” to inch move the
conveyor until he /she releases it.
Conveyor Solo: By turning on this switch and pressing “Start” button, the conveyor will begin to
run until the user presses the "Stop" button.
Film Inch Move: When the switch is turned on, the user can use “Start” to inch move the film
feeding until her/she releases it.
Film Solo: By turning on this switch and pressing “Start” button, the film will begin to run until the
user presses the "Stop" button.
Sealer FWD: When the switch is turned on, the user can use “Start” to inch move the end sealer
counterclockwise until her/she releases it.
Sealer REV: When the switch is turned on, the user can use “Start” to inch move the end sealer
clockwise until her/she releases it.
End-Sealer Power Off: When the switch is turned, the system disengages the end sealer power
immediately. The user can move and turn the end sealer freely. It is used especially during
maintenance.

Conveyor Power Off: When the switch is turned, the system disengages the conveyor roller
chain immediately. The user can move roller chain forward/backward freely. It is used especially
during maintenance.
Switch Control
This page is mainly for the purpose of controlling functions and switches of this machine.
Bar Heater: For bar heater heating control. On/Off: Use is to switch on/off the heating.
Eye-mark: Turn on/off the switch and realign the photo cell position and the machine can locate
the eye marks on the foil.
Note (a): Make sure printed film with eye marks is applied.
Note (b): Make sure the photo cell beam is correctly focused on the eye marks.
M.I.S.: Turn the switch to detect any misplaced items. The end sealer skips any of such items
without stopping the machine.
Cutter Counter: When the switch is turned on, machine starts to run chain-pack
No-Film Stop: Turn on the switch and the machine gives alarm and stops the machine whenever
the machine is running out of film.
No-Product Wait: Turn on the switch and the machine seal cutting and film feeding stop without
stopping the conveyor running. The machine moves again when the conveyor sensor senses any

incoming product.
Printer: Turn on the switch and the machine starts to send signal to the ink jet printer. The printer
will do the printing job whenever the machine runs. (Please make sure the printer cables are
connected to the packing machine.)
Counter: Turn on the switch and activate the counter.
Temp. Control
Status
This page is mainly for the purpose of controlling Temp. PID and monitoring temp and SSR
output.
Bar Heater: For bar heater heating control.
◼ SV shows the setup value and PV shows machine current actual value.
◼ On/Off: Use is to switch on/off the heating.
V Seal Heater: For vertical sealer heating control.
◼ SV shows the setup value and PV shows machine current actual value.
◼ On/Off: Use is to switch on/off the heating.
Lower Heater: For lower end sealer heating control.
◼ SV shows the setup value and PV shows machine current actual value.
◼ On/Off: Use is to switch on/off the heating.
Upper Heater: For upper end sealer heating control.

Temp Limit Setup: To ensure a normal and safety use of heating operation, the user may
give a limited maximum temperature value on each heater.
◼ Note (a): The function only applies to maximum temp limit setup.

Use arrows to plus or minus your ideal temperature limited value.

Micro Tuning
This page is for the purpose of micro tuning various values
in order to ensure a smooth packaging operation.(values are all set up before shipping out, not
recommended to change it )
M.I.S Detect Settings: use to setup the distance that sensor will detect between 2 products, in
order to skip the misplace items. Values are set up before shipping out, not recommended to
change it
Cutter Trimming : to set up the trimming angle of cutter
The Cutter stops the knife: to set up how many chain-pack in a row

Bar Heater: use to testing bar heater individually open or closed(on/off)
Vertical Sealer : use to testing Vertical Sealer individually open or closed(on/off)
Cutter: use to testing the cutter individually stab out the knife(on/off)
