Summary of Findings
This chapter presents the findings, conclusion, and recommendations based on the collected
data. The findings address the research questions outlined in the Statement of the Problem,
followed by the interpretation of results and suggested improvements.
1. Profile of the Respondents
1.1 Age
The respondents belong to the age bracket of 17 to 19 years old, representing Grade
12 students from different academic strands.
1.2 Gender
The respondents consisted of 58% female students and 42% male students, reflecting
a diverse range of perspectives.
2. Key Findings Based on the Statement of the Problem
2.1 Perceived Effects of Quipper on Learning
Academic Performance: The majority of respondents found Quipper beneficial in
helping them review lessons and prepare for quizzes and exams. However, some
students noted that the platform did not significantly improve their academic
performance, particularly in subjects requiring deeper conceptual understanding.
Learning Engagement: While Quipper provided a structured way to track assignments
and monitor progress, some students reported feeling disengaged due to the platform’s
lack of interactive elements.
Learning Experience: Most students appreciated the accessibility and organization of
Quipper, stating that it helped them manage their coursework more efficiently. However,
others preferred traditional face-to-face learning, citing a lack of direct teacher interaction
as a drawback.
2.2 Enhancements in Learning Through Quipper
Respondents indicated that using Quipper improved their self-study skills and time
management by allowing them to review content at their own pace.
Some students suggested that the platform should provide more in-depth explanations
for complex topics and offer offline accessibility for better convenience.
2.3 Effectiveness of Quipper for Different Types of Students
Learning Preferences: Students who preferred digital learning found Quipper useful for
its accessibility and structured lessons. In contrast, those who favored traditional
classroom learning expressed difficulty in adapting to the platform’s format.
Experience with Online Platforms: Respondents who were already familiar with e-
learning systems adapted quickly to Quipper, while others struggled with navigation and
technological issues.
Conclusion
The study concluded that Quipper has a generally positive impact on students' learning
experiences, particularly in terms of accessibility and study efficiency. It serves as a
useful supplementary tool for reviewing lessons and tracking academic progress.
However, certain limitations were noted, including a lack of interactive features,
challenges with technical accessibility, and a preference among some students for face-
to-face instruction. Addressing these concerns would improve the platform’s
effectiveness and acceptance among students with varying learning styles.
