4. PROPERTIES
• Fast drying
• Outstanding water resistance
• High Bonding Strength, especially wood to wood
• Easy to use and apply
• No VOC or Low VOC
• Can be used in areas exposed to moisture and water
• Flexible even after bonding
• A strong bond is achieved after 2-3 hrs at ambient condition & optimum
strength is achieved after 24 hrs.
5. WORKING LIFE
Working life is dependent on ambient conditions. Higher the temperature and
humidity, faster the curing rate.
6. HOW TO USE
• Apply glue on a wood/any material piece
• Brush evenly
• Clamp both materiel pieces together with woodworking clamps
• Adjust and fix the position of the bonding pieces within 10 minutes
• Wipe off excess glue with a dry cloth
• Clamping the pieces for at least 90 mins
• Remove cured adhesive on the surface and smooth with sandpaper or
cloth
*Note that the adhesive working time is dependent on ambient conditions. Higher the
temperature and humidity, faster the curing rate.
*The adhesive forms bonding after 2-3 hrs at ambient conditions and reaches optimum
bonding strength after 24 hrs.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
The PU Adhesive should be stored in their original, unopened containers at a
temperature range between 20°C and 30°C. The shelf life of unopened, sealed
containers is approximately six months under those storage conditions.
8. FIRST-AID MEASURES
Product in eyes: Remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing
thoroughly with plenty of water (lift eye lids). Rinse for at least 15 minutes. Seek
medical attention if any discomfort.
Product on skin: Wash skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if
irritation persists.
Product ingested: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention
immediately.
Product inhaled: Move to fresh air and seek medical if nausea and dizziness
persists.
9. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media: Water, dry chemical powder, foam, carbon dioxide or
sand.
Special hazards: In case of fire, hazardous combustion-gases are formed - CO.
Toxic vapors may be released. Cool containers exposed to flames with water
until well after the fire is out. Vapor accumulation could flash and/or explode if
ignited.
Protective clothing: In case of fire, wear respiratory protection such as NIOSH
approved breathing equipment.
10. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions: Wear NISOH approved self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Environmental precautions: Avoid contamination of ground and water
surfaces.
Small spills: If recovery is not feasible, absorb with dry sand, soil or non-reactive
absorbent material or coagulate by sprinkling sodium chloride over spill. If
product has dried, scrape off the ground. Place in a container suitable for
disposal.
Large spills: Stop leak if without risk. Ventilate area. Prevent entry into drains or
sewers. Clean as per small spills.
11. EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
Occupational exposure limits:
Engineering controls: Provide good ventilation when handling large quantities.
No special measures are required if stored and handled as above. Ventilation
must be explosive proof.
Respiratory protection: Not required under normal conditions of use in well-
ventilated space.
Hand protection: Rubber gloves should be used if there is a risk of direct
contact with the skin.
Eye protection: Safety glasses should be worn.
Skin protection: Observe the usual precautions when handling chemicals.
Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.
Other protection: Wash hands at the end of each work shift and before eating.
