PHẦN I: LÝ THUYẾT
A. TỪ LOẠI
I. Danh từ ký hiệu N: là từ dùng để chỉ con người, con vật, đồ vật, sự vật, địa điểm, hiện
tượng…
Ví dụ:friend, mom, cat, bag, school, cloud…
Danh từ có2 loại: Danh từ đếm được và Danh từ không đếm được.
1. Danh từ không đếm được thì không có dạng số ít hay số nhiều._Ví dụ: milk, water, rice,
meat…
2. Danh từ đếm được: có 2 dạng là danh từ số ít và danh từ số nhiều.
a. Danh từ số ít a/an + danh từ _ ví dụ: a pen, a book, anapple, aneraser, an orange
 Chú ý: ansẽ đứng trước các từ bắt đầu bằnga, e, i, o, u
b. Danh từ số nhiều: được thành lập bằng cách thêm s hoặc es vào sau danh từ.
Ví dụ: books, two pens, three boxes, four sandwiches
 Chú ý: nhiều hơn 1 thì gọi là số nhiều, danh từ số nhiều không còn a, an
đứng trước.
 Thêm:es vào những từ kết thúc bằng x, ss, z, ch, sh, o
II. Động từ ký hiệu V:
là từ dùng để chỉ hành động, hoạt độngVí dụ:run, jump, read, look, dance, sing…
III. Tính từ ký hiệu Adj: là từ dùng để mêu tảVí dụ: tall, short, big, pretty…
B. TOBE
am, is, are(có nghĩa: thì/là)gọi là tobe (ở hiện tại) theo sau là danh từ hoặc tính từ.
Mỗi tobe đi với chủ từ nhất định. I đi với am, chủ từ số ít đi với is, chủ từ số nhiều đi
với are.

Công thức:S + tobe + N/Adj…. (S là chủ ngữ của câu)

I ama student. (Tôi là học sinh.), I am tall. (Tôi thì cao.), I am = I’m
He is a docter. (Anh ấy là bác sĩ.), He is tall. (Anh ấy thì cao.), He is = He’s
She is a teacher. (Cô ấy là giáo viên.), She is pretty. (Cô ấy thì đẹp.), She is = She’s
It is a dog. (Nó là 1 con chó.), It is black. (Nó thì màu đen.), It is = It’s
Lan is a nurse. (Lan là y tá.) Lan is short. (Lan thì thấp.), Lan is = Lan’s
You are a famer. (Bạn là nông dân.), You are thin. (Bạn thì gầy.), You are =
You’re
They are pilots. ( Họ là phi công.), They are tall., They are = They’re
We are students. We are young(trẻ)., You are = you’re
Lan and Hoa are frienrds. Lan and Hoa are thin.
C. POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVE_TÍNH TỪ SỞ HỮU
Là các từ chỉ sự sở hữu trong câu được theo sau bởi danh từ.
Các tính từ sở hữu: my, your, his, her, our, their, its theo sau là Danh từ.
Ví dụ: my book, your car, her kite, his ball, our toys, their house, its head…
This is my book.; That is his ruler.; These are their toys.; Its head is big.

 These are your pens.; This is your car.; Her hat is yellow.
D. YES/NO QUESTION: Câu hỏi trả lời Yes hoặc No
- Là câu hỏi không có từ để hỏi “What, Where, When, Who, How, How many”đứng
đầu câu.
- Bắt đầu bằng “Is, Are, Do, Does, May’’.
- Trả lời Yes, ___. nếu thông tin câu hỏi là đúng.
- Trả lời No,___. nếu thông tin không đúng.
Chú ý:
 Trả lời đúng người, sự vật được hỏi.
 Hỏi về đồ vật hoặc con vật số ít thì trả lời bằng it.
 Trong câu hỏi là You thìtrả lời I. Hỏi I trải lời you.
 Câu hỏi bắt đầu bằng từ nào thì đem từ đó xuống cuối câu trả lời.
 Nếu câu trả lời là No, thì thêm not vào cuối.
Công Thức:Is/ Are/ Do/Does/ May + S __________ ?
 Yes, S + is/ are/ do/does/ may.
 No, S + is/ are/ do/does/ may+ not.
Ví dụ:
Isthis a ruler?_Yes, it is.; Isthis a pen?_No, it isn’t. isn’t = is not
Are they tall?_Yes, theyare. ; Are they thin?_No, theyaren’t. aren’t = are not
