NOTE:

✔ All provincial and district based monthly tests will be set out of 50 marks.

✔ All formal tasks should have a minimum of 50 marks and a maximum of 75 marks unless stated otherwise.

✔ The term 2 test will have a minimum of 80 marks

✔ All formal assignments should have a minimum of 50 marks and a maximum of 100 marks and be written
under supervision.

✔ All common tasks will be written on the same date.

✔ For the investigation, the discussion can take place at home but the writing should be done under
supervision in class.

✔ Investigations should not assess content that was taught, for example, a grade 12 investigation on functions
cannot investigate the effect of parameters; the proportionality theorem cannot be investigated in grade 12
once taught, (Investigate before teaching)

✔ More marks should be allocated to the core content per task, if other topics are covered, they should cover
less marks as compared to the core content. Content that could not be assessed in the scheduled task should
be assessed in the next task.
