RESOLUTION No. 2 s. 2025

RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING GABION FROM THE GOOD OFFICE OF


THE MAYOR HONORABLE ELLA CELESTINA GARCIA–YULO FOR THE RIPRAP
SLOPE PROTECTION TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE OF SITIO SULBOD LOCATED
AT BRGY. CROSSING MAGALLON, MOISES PADILLA, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL.

WHEREAS, the aforementioned location damage almost covers the area that severely
affects the safety of the community.

WHEREAS, every time there is a low pressure or typhoon that causes flood the damage
gets severe that affects the livelihood of the community.

WHEREAS, as the damage gets worse the source of portable water is also affected.

WHEREAS, the use of gabion as a riprap slope protection will prevent further damage to the
area, protect the source of water, livelihood and safety of the whole community.

WHEREAS, this problem about the riprap slope protection was already discussed to our
mayor, Hon. Ella Celestina Garcia – Yulo on April _, 2025 and agreed to help the Sitio
Sulbod community.

NOW THEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, upon motion made by President
Jorge Jico and Ellen Gabayeron, duly seconded, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved to
respectfully request gabion from the good office of the mayor Honorable Ella Celestina
Garcia – Yulo for the riprap slope protection to prevent further damage of Sitio Sulbod
located at Brgy. Crossing Magallon.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to furnish copy of this resolution to the Office of


theHonorable Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia -Yulo , Municipal Mayor, Punong Barangay
Jimmy V. Borromeo and other offices concerned for their information and appropriate
action;
