Exercise on tenses –

EXERCISE
Under line and identify the form of verb and circle the auxiliary
verb in the following sentences .V1, V2 , V3 or v4 ( use a
pencil to underline or circle ) and write which form of tense it
belongs to.
1. The dog is barking at the postman.
2. She has been working on the project for a week.
3. They will be leaving for Delhi on Monday.
4. I had been living in the city for five years before I moved to
the countryside.
5. If I had known you were coming, I would have made a
cake.
6. He used to go for a walk every morning.
7. He goes to the gym every day.
8. He went for a walk yesterday.
9. He will go for a walk tomorrow.
10. I have eaten my lunch.
