11KV Internal OHT Method Statement

Purpose:
The Purpose of Method Statement is define and Establish systematic and quality of Work.

Work will be executed according to approved Drawings.
Tools :
Auger

Web Slings

PPES Used:
Helmet
Shoes
Reflective jacket
Hand Gloves
Procedure :

 List of Tools and Machinery : will be used Wrench, spanners, screw driver, cutting
player, Hammer, Hydra.
 Excavation manually will be done 05 feet, width 2.5 and pole to pole distance not
more than 50 meters ,length of poles 09.1 meters and 11 meters, weight 250 kgs.
 V” Cross arms are fixed with clamps and bolt nuts before pole erection and Pole laid
by hydra by using web slings.
 Back filling and compacting will be done manually.
 Tress trimming will be done were required and concern department permission will
be taken before commencing work.

 Pole climbing by using Ladder or manually for fixing the disc and pin type insulators
and aluminum conductor will be pulled by using ropes .
 For road crossing purpose 11 meters pole will be used.

Safety

 Induction training will be conducted to all staff and workforce


 Tool box meeting will be conducted and on hazards which are identified before starting
work.
 Personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used by the task force during site work.
 Obstacles should be cleared the from surrounding area to avoid accidents.
 While using power tools and hand Tools will be inspected and certified by HSE Officer .
 After Completing the work Housekeeping will be done and material will be stocked
properly
