Bill of Quantities for PHY-03 Building

The bill of quantities for retrofitting work of PHY-03 Building is as follows:

Damaged or contaminated concrete shall be removed to obtain a keyed aggregate exposed surface. Grinding
concrete substrate, cleaning it with wire brush, removing oil, laitance if present, breaking upto required level
to open up corroded reinforcements wherever required.
2 Anti Corrosive Treatment: RM 310 550 1,70,500
Providing and Applying anti-corrosive treatment after proper cleaning the exposed reinforcing bars and lateral
ties/stirrups using wire brush, emery paper, Rust Remover etc using material such as Master Emaco P130 of
BASF, a two component, epoxy zinc rich primer or equivalent. It shall be formulated to meet the requirement
of BS 4652 Type 2. The primer shall be an active type having zinc content of greater than 90% in dry film state
which is capable of negating the generation of incipient anodes in the areas surrounding the repairs. The
product shall have mix density not less than 2.25 kg/litre.
3 Makeup reinforcement: RM 355 550 1,95,250
Makeup lost steel area due to corrosion by drilling holes or fixing it with existing steel by binding wires,
wherever required. The holes shall be cleaned to remove all the dust etc. and then the reinforcement shall
be fixed in the holes using polyester resin anchor material. It will also help in bonding new cementitious
concrete surface to the existing surface.
4 Crack Repairing: RM 485 2,750 13,33,750
Make groove cutting at all visible cracks. Supply and apply of MasterBrace ADH 2200 is a solvent free, high
performance, non-slumping epoxy mortar and adhesive. MasterBrace 2200 can be used as a bedding mortar,
thixotropic adhesive and non-sag concrete repair mortar for filling the groove along the crack line throughout
mixing 10-15% of river sand for preparing the mortar. Filling the groove with MasterBrace 2200 for a thickness
of 25mm.
