- Ask students sing along the song.
- Weather report

- Let the students revise the classroom signals.
Game: Magic bag
Review
- Put flash cards (from 0 to 10) into a bag.
3 mins
- Play music and let students to pass the bag. When the music stops, a student must
pick one flash card and say the number loudly.
- Continue 4 – 5 turns.

Task 1.
- Have students look at task 1a page 59.
- Have students say the words loudly and write the numbers. whole class
- Go around and help students when it’s necessary.
Present - Check all students’ work when they finish.

5 mins - Ask students to open their book page 59 and look at task 1b.
- Have students put the numbers in order, they have to say the numbers loudly when
they write the them.

Guided practice 3.
7 mins - Show picture: individuals
- Ask students some questions: “What is it?”; “What are they”
- Ask students how many of them. “How many ducks are there?”
- Students have to stand up and count aloud.
- Have students open their books page 60 task 4
- Have students count things and say aloud the numbers when they write.
- Go around and help students when it’s necessary.
- Check all students’ work when they finish.

practice - Let students work in pairs. pairs
10 mins - Let student open their books page 60 and look at task 3.
- Students play rock – paper – scissors to get the right to do first.
- Students who finish the task first is the winner.
- Go around and help students when it’s necessary.

5. Game: Rolling the dices
- Let students work in groups.
- Give students a pair of dices. groups
- Students in groups take turn to roll the dices
- Students have to say the numbers and the comparison on the dices loudly.
- Go around and help students when it’s necessary.
- Invite some groups to check their work.
- Check all students’ work when they finish.

The hot seat


- Assign each student in group number from 1 to 10. Teacher also has a number from Whole class
1 to 10.
Conclusion
- Rule: Invite one student to say a number from 1 to 10 aloud. Students have the

- Explain: “Ten minus one then minus three equals six”. – Show six fingers.

- Ask students to open their book page 61 and look at task 2.
- Have students say the pattern loudly and write the numbers.

Pass the bag


- Teacher puts 10 marbles/ beads/…. Into the bag and say “There are 10 marbles in Whole class

Conclusion
- Students pass the bag while teacher is playing music.

- Rearrange the classroom to have some space. Whole class
Conclusion - Rule: Teacher and students make a big circle and go around the classroom. Teacher

correctly. Students who don’t belong to any group are the next callers.
