How Does Brecht Make A Form Of Theatre
In this essay I will be discussing the theatrical style of Brecht and how he created his own form of
theatre and I will be using his play Mother Courage and Her Children to back up the innovation and
techniques that Brecht used during his career.
Mother Courage and Her Children is set in the 30 year s war and follows Mother Courage making
a living by selling supplies from her wagon to armies that they encounter. Trying to make a living
for herself and her family. The focus is on the conflict that occurs between war profiteering and
maintaining a family. Her children end up dying due to the struggle of trying to live like a family
and trying to survive the war. Brecht wanted to show audiences that if families are going to survive
they need to understand that capitalism needs to go. (Theatre Histories:2010)
Although Brecht was a Marxist he did take interest into a form of theatre that differed from socialist
realism, that was brought upon by Stalin s culture. When Brecht had written Mother Courage and
Her Children he took it with him to Finland after he was forced to leave Germany after Hitler came
into power due to him not being sure how the Soviet and German communists would treat him.
Brecht and his wife, Helene Weigel, decided ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He wanted to get rid of the 4th wall completely and include the actors and audience together,
however, he didn t want the audience to think of this as an excuse to be at ease and relaxed. They
had to be aware of any or all political implications and consequences that were made by the actors.
When Brecht began to make his own style of theatre, going to the theatre wasn t an experience that
was whole hearted and uplifting, the audience was made to suffer and left the theatre in the mind set
of wanting to make a
The Management Of Human Resource Management
People are usually considered to be the critical resource in the new approach that is Human Resource
Management. The management of people within every organization, therefore, is very vital as it
deals with their acquisition, attaining motivation for higher levels of attainments, skills development
as well as ensuring that the level of commitment of every individual is maintained. Much effort,
therefore, must be made considering events that aim at improving personal development, attaining
employees satisfaction and to comply with employment related laws that accommodate their rights
within working environment. Various authors have different definitions for HRM. HRM, therefore,

The recent findings indicate human resource management is greatly influenced by the federal
employment legislation that purposely designed to protect workers from the abuse by their
employers. The majority of the organizations have adopted the trend of revolutionary that aim at
accelerating product as well as the technological and demographic changes to meet the global
competition in the market. However, every organization, therefore, must implement service trends
that merge the information age society (Kane 2000, p. 27). Surprisingly, business organizations have
experienced tremendous changes in the business environment especially with the concern to retain
employees who are considered to be the key human capital resource to the survival of any business
enterprise.
As Porter (2001, p. 44) notes that organizations do compete for the talented employees to enhance
their productivity. One of the new systems that organizations do consider the business management is
the element of motivation to the employees and to retain those with high talents to aid in
restructuring organizations, reorganize, consolidate, downsize as well as to re engineer individual
initiatives needed for the growth of organizations in the recent global market trend (Clarke 2001, p.
36). Before the end of the Second World War, employees were imposed to hard labor duties and
denied their labor rights as opposed to the current legislative measures that the Federal States have
A Separate Peace Loss Of War
World War II was one of, if not, the most destructive conflict in all of human history. Over sixty
million soldiers and civilians lost their lives due to the war. However, were lives the only thing
lost in the war?. In the novel A Separate Peace, by John Knowles, Devon School offered the boys a
place shielded by the war. When Leper Lepiller enlists in the army after watching a film about ski
troops, a direct link was established between Devon School and the war. World War II suddenly
became much more real than before. The boys had no real connection to the war before Leper
enlisted. As Gene says, This established our liaison with World War II (Knowles 126). Before Leper
left, a few younger teachers left to fight, but this did not have a
The Original Rules Of Golf
Even though some people say it s not a true major, I feel that the British Open is most significant
major tournament because it is the oldest championship, and it s the most prestigious event. Along
with its most talented golfers playing the highest ranked course contributes to the amazing history
and why this tournament is one of the greats.
What made golf so difficult back then was the poorly designed and constructed clubs and balls.
The balls were made of greatly compressed feathers wrapped with horse hide, which could only be
hit about ten times before tearing. Most of the club heads were from the wood of apple trees.Shafts
were from ash or hazel wood. The shoes were like everyday shoes at the time, but they inserted nails

These rules would stay in tact for more than 20 years, before being renamed.
Golf originated in Scotland in the year of 1457, then game was then outlawed by King James II of
Scotland, because it took away time to be training for the military. Soon after, King James III
reaffirmed the ban of golf in 1470. Golf s first Open Championship was played on October
17th,1860 at The Prestwick Golf club in Scotland (Montgomerie). This event has always been
played annually on various courses in Scotland, England, and on ocean courses of Ireland since
1860. The courses were designed to be flat open and fast with lots undulation, you had to be very
creative and smart to shoot good numbers.
Only the best could have a chance to win this major event. The Open has always been dominated by
professionals, with only just 6 amateur victories. A competitor had to be so precise and genius like

Verbal interpersonal cultural Cross cultural awareness
In modern society, interpersonal communications refer to communication betwee two or more people.
Meanwhile the verbal interpersonal communication is one of the major element for interpersonal
communication, such as sounds and word choice, and it is the oral, spoken and unwritten way of the
communication (Beebe, 2002). During the process of communication, most people will meet the
situattion about the cross cultural. cross cultural can be defined as the interaction and comparison of
different cultures (Beebe, 2002). Therefore, the verbal interpersonal communication and cross
cultural awareness will be useful. In the following, I will reflect on the verbal interpersonal cultural
based my experience and analyse how to develop cross cultural awareness.
Due to the cultural differences, some people who come from different counties will often have
some misunderstanding in the team work or cooperation. I also meet this kind of problems in the
presentation s teamwork. In the process of cooperation, we have a lots of verbal communication,
while some questions have different means for us. For example, where are you going? and do you
eat dinner? , all of these questions are just greetings, but for my team members, these questions are
their privacy. Thus, these
Argumentative Essay On Lady Macbeth
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE TRANSGRESSING OR TRANSCENDING?
Don t be fooled! William Shakespeare is against his society, and this article written by Paul Junior
Tauati will tell you why. 14/03/2018
It s no surprise, that Shakespeare s Macbeth was clearly constructed as a rebellion against feminine
roles of the time. During the Shakespeare era, women were raised to believe they were inferior to
men since; men obtained masculine qualities, whereas women were valued only as figures of
hospitality . Women unable to obtain this standard, were punished into submission and disobedience
to obey men was a crime against their religion. Thus, to the views of Scottish protestant leader John
Knox and the people of this society, Women (in the Elizabeth era) were ... Show more content on

This is because, unlike a woman of her time, Lady Macbeth had an advantage to empower women
from the polluted beliefs that they needed a man s masculine presence in their lives. This is evident
when Macbeth, admits that she has greater masculinity than him, thus providing her a perfect
opportunity to empower women . But, instead of promoting women s rights, she uses her platform to
satisfy her selfish ambition, by transgressing her role to manipulate Macbeth into committing
Initial FEAF Missions
Initial FEAF missions were the transportation of Army and Marine units and equipment from Japan
to South Korea, the evacuation of American civilian nationals, and obtaining significant intelligence
through aerial reconnaissance of North Korean troop movements south. Fighter bomber ground
attack missions by Japan based F 80Cs significantly slowed the North Korean Army s advance
during July 1950. On 13 July, the FEAF Bomber Command took over command of the 19th
Bombardment Group and of the 22nd and 92nd Bombardment Groups which had been transferred
from Strategic Air Command (SAC) bases in the United Statesto Japan. These B 29 Superfortress
units were used in tactical attacks which were not very successful.[10]

The 31st Strategic Reconnaissance Group completed the team. The 92nd and 98th BGs and the
31st SRG operated from bases in Japan, whereas the 19th, 22nd, and 307th BGs were based in
Okinawa. Five major industrial centers in North Korea were earmarked for attack. This sort of
mission is what the B 29 had been designed for, and by early September, all known industrial
facilities in North Korea had been destroyed except for some oil storage facilities at Rashin, which
was considered too close to the Soviet border to risk an attack. By late September, all 18 strategic
targets in North Korea had been destroyed, and the B 29 Force now turned to secondary targets.[10]
Along with the SAC B 29 units, Tactical Air Command (TAC) deployed numerous fighter, fighter
bomber, tactical bomber, transport and support units to FEAF. TAC Lockheed F 80C Shooting
Star and Republic F 84E Thunderjets units deployed to FEAF to rapidly gain control of the air
from the Korean People s Armed Forces Air Corps (KPAFAC). For a time in August and
September 1950, all FEAF flying units had to fly from bases in Japan. The only continuously
usable tactical base in Korea was Taegu (K 2), which the FEAF used as a staging field to refuel and

Experiment 6 Alkyl Halides
In day 2 of the experiment in step 1, two millitliters of 2% silver nitrate solution in ethanol were
placed insix test tubes. Two drops of the six alkyl halides were added to the test tubes. The alkyl
halides included, n butyl chloride, sec butyl chloride, t butyl chloride, n butyl bromide, allyl
chloride, and chlorobenzene. Once the alkyl halides were added, the contents were swirled, and
left alone to react. The t butyl chloride, n butyl bromide, allyl chloride, and chlorobenzene all
reacted and precipitate was formed. It was observed that it took the t butyl chloride 30 seconds to
react and form a precipitate. It was observed that it took the n butyl bromide four minutes to react,
the allyl chloride 1 minute to react, and the chlorobenzene
Influenza A A Case Study
Influenza, or more generally recognized as the flu, is a virus that affects the upper respiratory system
and can infect both humans and animals, but generally circulated throughout humans. It is an
eminently contagious illness that is continually changing and has three known strains, Influenza A,
B and C. While C causes nothing other than a few minor symptoms, its counterparts B and A can be
disrupting, uncomfortable and in serious cases, lethal. InfluenzaA and B can both cause epidemics
and pandemics, as well as being dispersed around seasonally. Symptoms of influenza include chills, a
sore throat and cough, runny nose, headache and fatigue. This is because the virusinfects your lungs
and throat, irritating them. Due to the extra white blood... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Influenza A is compromised of two proteins named Hemagglutinin (H protein) and Neuraminidase
(N protein), which are part of a single RDA genome. Due to how weak and small the virus is, it
lacks the immunity to warm, tropical climates and thrives in cold, dry climates. Thus, during the
colder months of the year populations expect a strain of flu to break out. While a vaccine for the flu
developed in 1967 and revised in 1978, 1990 and 2003, influenza vaccines must be changed
annually to cover any recently emerged strains due to how often it
