Summer Holiday’s Home Work (2025-26)
Class- IX
Dear Students,
Summer vacation is not just a break from school — it is a golden
opportunity to refresh your mind, recharge your energy, and
rediscover your creativity. It is the perfect time to engage in
activities that blend fun with meaningful learning.
This year’s English Holiday Homework has been thoughtfully
curated to help you build essential skills while enjoying the process.
The assignments are designed to promote self-expression, creativity,
critical thinking, and language development.
At Model School, Rohtak, we believe in nurturing well-rounded
individuals — students who excel not only in academics but also in
character, creativity, and communication. Please follow these
important holiday tips:
• Stick to a daily routine and manage your time wisely.
• Explore hobbies and passions: try journaling, painting,
reading, gardening, learning a musical instrument, or developing a
new skill like photography or coding.
• Limit screen time.
• Focus on your physical and mental health — eat right,
exercise, and practise yoga.
• Pledge to “Eat Right – Less Sugar, Less Oil, Less Salt.”
• Work on improving your vocabulary daily by reading
books, using a dictionary/thesaurus, playing word games, and
maintaining a personal word bank with meanings and example
sentences.
A Note to Parents:
Use this time to bond with your child, encourage learning through
conversations and shared activities, and help them grow into
confident, responsible individuals.
