find an Hiring Manager email on LinkedIn. This is incredibly powerful

- Use referrals whenever you can : Most people apply directly. Some of
them are not aware of the importance of referrals, others just don’t
want to go through the pain of requesting a referral, and many don’t
even know how to request a referral correctly. Referrals are important
because:
- They increase the chances of the hiring manager actually
looking at your resume. This is a great way to not get lost in the
crowd.
- As a bonus, you get connected to like minded people doing
good in their fields. So you eventually grow a good network.
- You can even search on LinkedIn “referral code” and filter by
company. Many times you can get the referral code directly.
