A. Warm up (8 minutes)
Sing the “Phonics song”

Option 1: “Seven lives” game
- Draw or stick seven bodies outlines on the board.
- Follow and do as guided.
- Choose a word. Draw one line on the board for each letter
in a word, for example: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (penguin).
- Have students put up their hands to say a letter, if the letter - Join the game.

Option 1: “Pass the pen”
- Divide the class into groups of four. Have them sit round a
