Please whatever you do don t let the depressing facts about the dollar keep you from making money
in 2008. What the pessimistic press isn t telling you is how you can profit from the lowest dollar in
15 years. There is a extraordinary opportunity heading your way if you know how to seize it.
But first let me explain how the falling dollar really works. Then you ll see with your own eyes
how you can profit. A falling dollar does two things:
* Makes foreign imports more expensive
* Makes US exports cheaper on the world market
The chain reaction not only increases sales of U.S. goods around the world but also creates more
jobs for Americans. The end result increases the profits of U.S. multinationals.
And that s just the half of it.
Because a cheaper dollar makes foreign products more expensive, Americans buy more American
goods as well creating even more U.S. jobs. On a purely psychological level, it does even more than
that: It creates greater investor and consumer confidence, as more Americans are working, more
consumers are
Jack Churchill Accomplishments
What do you get when you combine a long bow, bagpipes and a World War II Soldier? John
Malcolm Fleming Churchill, also known as ¨Mad Jack¨ or Jack Churchill is what you get. Jack
Churchill is the person with the last recorded longbow kill, which he obtained while fighting in
World War II. Jack Churchill was born in Hong Kong on September 16, 1906. Along with his
military fame, he was a model and a movie actor due to his skills with the longbow. In 1926,
Churchill was commissioned to the British Manchester Regiment. After just 10 years, he retired
from the military in 1936. Around 1939, he returned to the army and by 1940 he was second in
command of an infantry unit. Around this time, in 1941, Churchill encountered a girl named
Rosamund Denny and married her. In 1943, Churchill and his infantry were forced into fighting in
Salerno. Knowing that his troops were not trained for this type of fighting, he advanced upon the
German soldiers in front of his soldiers with his sword swinging over his head. The Germans,
fearing what this man might do to them, surrendered to him. On that day, he captured 42 German
soldiers with the aid of one... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His troops were losing ground and their hopes of winning were slim. The attack was failing and
he was one of the few soldiers still alive. He ran out of ammo and stood there playing Will Ye No
Come Back Again on his bagpipes until he was knocked unconcious by a German grenade. He was
moved to a concentration camp, where he escaped through the drainage system and was recaptured
where he was moved to another camp in Austria. He then escaped from the Austrian camp and found
some American Soldiers in Italy and after convincing them that he was really a British officer, they
took him and let him heal. After healing from his wounds, he was sad to hear that the war was over
and he had missed most of

What Was The Role Of Zeus In Hesiod s
1. According to Hesiod, in the beginning there were four primordial beings. Chaos was the first
entity to exist, then came Earth (Gaea), Tartarus and Eros . Chaos produced two offspring,
Erebus and Night who made love and bore Aether and Day . Earth then gave birth to her son
Heaven who would later become her partner. Gaea then through parthenogenesis bore the
Mountains and the Sea. Gaea then along with Heaven created the Oceans, Cyclopes and the
deities known as the Titans . Heaven fearing for himself after hearing of a prophecy in which his
own son would usurp his position among the Gods kept his offspring trapped in the womb of
Gaea . This act made Gaea extremely angry and so in order to free her children she crafted a silver
sickle, which... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The offspring of Zeus in the Theogony are extremely anthropomorphic in nature as Hesiod styles
them to be extremely similar to humans, in appearance and personality, in the way that they
physically look like humans, with arms and eyes, and that they can find pleasure in the most basic
human instincts, such as feasting, drinking and sexual activities. Additionally they can exhibit very
negative human emotions and be born with the same moralistic flaws, in that they can become
enraged, jealous and greedy. Hesiod s description of the children of Zeus highlight this as he
describes Athena s grey eyes, the superior craftsmanship of Hephaestus to any other being God or
mortal, the white arm of Persephone, the beauty of the three Graces in which they revel, the Muses
s love of song and celebration and Tritogeneia s love of war . This proves to further illustrate the
anthropomorphic nature of Zeus offspring to a large
The Death Of The Plague
Today I woke up on May 13th, 1350, I awoke up extra early to go pray for my best friend Percival to
be ridden of the plague. Percival has had the plague for four days now and is in terrible condition.
Since Percival was infected with the plague, I had to step up and do his share of work as well as
mine. I really hope that Percival gets well soon. Right as I was leaving the church I heard my vassal
calling my name and I started heading over to where he was at. When I saw my vassal, I saw my
other fellow serfs being called out to go line up to be told our task for the day. After the other
serfs were told their task I finally was told what my task of the day were. Angry, how I felt after
being told my task for the day, I must harvest the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I grab onto utters of the first cow and start pulling down on them as milk pours out into the bucket.
After about ten minutes I finish milking the first cow and move onto the second I hear one of my
fellow serfs named Rollo call out saying the vassal had left out bread for lunch. I leave the bucket
behind and go grab a piece of bread and start eating it quickly, as soon as I finish the piece I bread I
go to get water but because we had all been working so hard today the vassal brought us some ale to
drink. One gulp, all I took of the ale and it was gone. Grinding the grains my last task of the day and
I was so happy to be on my last task of the day I forgot about the other cows I had to milk. To grind
the grains I had to take them to the mills, place them in the mill and use water to power it.
Grinding grains is probably the easiest task anyone can do, it only took me an hour to grind them all.
Since I am done for the day I go and help my other serfs do their tasks as well and by dinner time we
accomplished all our jobs for the day. We all head back to our huts and eat dinner with our
families. Tonight I had brown bread with cabbage and beans and it tasted delicious. The last thing of
the day before I was to go to bed, I went to the church to pray for Percival. I finish up my praying for
Percival and head back to my hut when I hear the vassal yelling my name in an angry fashion. My
vassal had walked up to me and with his loud, angry voice he asked me why I
Religion In Ancient Egypt And Mesopotamia
Religion in the ancient civilizations of Egypt and Mesopotamia played a significant role in
developing and organizing the society. Based on the common belief of the world s divine creation,
both civilizations had regular rituals and ceremonies to honor the supernatural beings. In rituals and
ceremonies, the cult was expressed as the manifestation of components that symbolized the divine
such as the cult images, temples, and shrines. Since religion was an important aspect in the people s
daily lives, it also had an impact on the ruling system in the two civilizations. Even though Ancient
Egyptand Mesopotamia have similar foundational beliefs about the cult, different cultic practices
imply the difference in the structure and the scope of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similar to Egyptians, Mesopotamians were polytheists and their gods created the natural
phenomena. However, the temple in each city state mainly worshipped a local god and was the
central power in the city. The Mesopotamians ascribed human s appearance and characteristics to
represent their deities. The presence of the cult image in the temple indicated the presence of the deity
in the city. Each cult image of the local god was placed in the city s largest and most sophisticated
sanctuary. For instance, the cult image of Marduk Babylon s city deity resided in the Esagila
temple. Mesopotamians believed the shrine of the Esagila temple was the heart of the universe.
According to the inscriptions in the Steinplatten, the cult statue, the walls and the ceilings of the
sanctuary were plated in gold. In practice of the daily ritual, the servants or priests of the temple
cleansed and dressed the cult statue in new clothes. Since the priests directly served the patron city
god, they were respected by common people. Additionally, the inscriptions from king Neriglissar s
cylinder revealed that he was submissive to the gods and thus the king s power was shared to the
priests and the local government. Local government governed the city and controlled the economy
on behalf of the city s god. Consequently, the cult s control over the economy and society was limited
inside the city state. Ancient Egyptians and Mesopotamians believed in

Henrik Ibsen s A Doll s House
002322 3 Henrik Ibsen s A Doll s House is based in the Victorian society of the 19th century. It
assesses the many struggles and hardships that women faced because of marriage laws that were
crucial during that time period. The society was male dominated with no equality. Nora is the
protagonist in A Doll s House and the wife of a man named Torvald. This play is about Nora s
voyage to recognizing her self determination and independence. She transforms from a traditional,
reserved woman to a new, independent woman. Nora s relationship with Mrs. Linde, Nils Krogstad,
and her husband, Torvald, help her personality grow throughout the play, A Doll s House.
In Henrik Ibsen s play, A Doll s House, many literary elements such as juxtaposition, irony, and
symbolism are intentionally used to reveal Nora s true character.
There is juxtaposition that Ibsen creates between Mrs. Linde and Nora. This is shown mainly
through their marriages. Nora and Torvald play unequal roles in their marriage and according to
Torvald, Nora is a child like object whom he must provide for. In their relationship, Nora plays the
passive role. Her only duty is to please her husband, who feels he is superior to her. Mrs. Linde s
situation was totally different. She was looking desperately for a job at the beginning of the play,
as her husband, Mr. Linde, had just died. She and Krogstad had a relationship in the past, but
because of her family s financial needs she ends up marrying a businessman, Mr.
Tintoretto s Last Supper Analysis
Tin! Tin! Dinner s Ready!
I have been greatly impacted by all of the artists, styles, and types of art we have talked about so far
in Art History I. We have looked at sculptors, paintings, architecture, and prints with varying styles,
from a numerous amount of artists. While I am intrigued by mostly all of what we have studied, The
Last Supper paintings catch my eye the most. Many artists have successfully completed paintings of
The Last Supper including, Tintoretto, Paolo Veronese, and Leonardo da Vinci; however, da Vinci
was the first, original painter of The Last Supper. My favorite Last Supper painting definitely has to
be the one by Tintoretto. Tintoretto s Last Supper painting truly represents various key aspects of
art; from the usage of colors and shadows, all the way to the numerous groups of people taking on
various different tasks. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This nickname came from his father s profession as a cloth dyer ( Tintoretto ). Tintoretto is known
as Venetian Mannerist painter and is seen as an artist who merged the rich color of Titian with the
powerful line of Michelangelo ( Renaissance Art And Architecture ). I find this truly amazing, being
inspired by two very different artists and combining their styles to form your own. Tintoretto s work
over the years influenced the expansion of baroque art; however; after his death on May 31, 1594,
Venetian painting quickly dwindled away ( Tintoretto ). Tintoretto began The Last Supper in
1952 and completed it in 1954 (Pallucchini). It is an oil painting on canvas located in the Church
of San Giorgio Maggiore (Pallucchini). This painting is absolutely gorgeous, so I am glad it is
displayed near the altar of a church for everybody in Venice, Italy and tourists that visit there to see. I
would love to be able to take a trip to Italy and experience seeing this work of art for
