Dear Dhruba Roy,

Recently we have come to know that there are some changes in the process followed by PearsonVue during the online exam.

Here are a few important points you should know before you schedule / give your certification exam.

1. It is the best option to give your exam in a Prometric centre to avoid “No shows” and “voucher/payment loss” because of
logistic / Software issues.
2. As a second option, we recommend using a personal computer with a webcam for your exam. Work computers generally have
more restrictions like ( webex , slack etc) that may prevent successful delivery of exam again leading to loss of voucher. Make
sure you have a reliable, fast internet connection to download your exam and support a webcam stream. Do not take your exam
in a setting with a corporate firewall (including VPN). If you are taking your online exam in your office, please alert your Network
Administrator to the OnVUE system requirements.
3. If you want to use the IBM laptop with no other option, you may uninstall or kill the WEBEX, SLACK Processes and anything else
that the proctor may object to. Be well prepared with all the necessary setup so that this does not lead to a "No show".

There is an important change in the Govt Id proof the exam provider validates.

Acquire an acceptable form of ID:

One (1) valid, unexpired, government-issued ID with a signature and photo. The name must match the name on the registration exactly.
Acceptable forms of ID include:

Passport
Driver’s license
Non-US Military ID (including spouse and dependents)
Identification card (national or local)
Registration card (green card, permanent residence, visa)

Unacceptable forms of ID:

Unacceptable forms of identification include renewal forms with expired IDs, government-issued name change documents with
government ID.
If your identification is not considered valid, you will not be permitted to complete your exam and you are unlikely to receive a
refund.

By law, certain IDs must not be photocopied, digitized, or captured on camera. Because of this, Pearson VUE cannot accept restricted IDs
(including but not limited to U.S. military or certain secure access IDs) as identification for online testing.

We have been informed that Aadhar and PAN Card is not accepted as an Identity proof for certification exams.

Thanks and Regards,
