How to use this Ind AS wise (A-Z) Index in exam–
1. Two ways are there - Either identify the relevant Ind
AS that would be applicable from the question asked or
identify the relevant concept, then if you have read the
topics then it would help in which Ind AS is applicable.
Ex - From question if it seems that it relates to PPE –
then go to Ind AS 16, Revenue then go to Ind AS 115.
Ex – ECL (expected credit loss) is asked in the question,
then Ind AS 109 is applicable, then directly open Ind AS
109.
Ex – If question comes like – Amount paid to Virat
Kohli by RCB for 5 years. How it will be treated in
the books of RCB. How this transaction will be
recorded.
That means no direct identification of Ind AS, now
if amount is paid it will mostly be related to Asset.
Then see which Ind AS could be applicable like
Inventory(2), PPE(16), Intangible(38), IP(40),
Agriculture(41), Bus. Comb (103), NCA held for sale
(105), Financial asset (109), Lease(116).
Now see, what scenario could relate, nothing
physical is there so firstly Ind AS 38 should come
in mind.
2. Now, hardly 2-3 pages will be there for any Ind AS, go to
that Ind AS and try to identify the relevant concept and
as main key word is BOLD it might be easy to identify the
Topic.
3. After identifying the Topic then see in which module the
same is there M-1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 and see the same
mentioned on the Top of page and mark the page number
mentioned alongside.
Note!! – Get yourself comfortable by using/reading the
Topics in the particular chapter again and again, so that in
exam you would know what are the topics or main key word
in that particular chapter.
Before exam day, see the sequence of topics again.
