John Rolfe Essay
I am John Rolfe also known as one of the earliest English colonists and farmers of North America.
I was born in 1585. I am the son of John Rolfe and Dorothea Mason. I work as a businessman and
a farmer. In June 1609, my wife and I sailed for the New World on a ship called the Sea Venture.
This ship held about 500 600 new settlers. The purpose of this convoy was to help those in need in
Jamestown, and bring the colony back together. On July 24, we were within 7 days of reaching
the colony when a hurricane hit the convoy and badly damaged the Sea Venture. The colonists and
I worked as hard as we could to build to new ships to continue on our way. We used Bermuda cedar
and as many remains as we could find from the Sea Venture. The two new ships... Show more content

Pocahontas was captured by Samuel Argall and during her captivity she became pregnant. The
father was a mystery, but she was supposed to be marrying me. We got married on April 5, 1614
and then her baby was born on January 30, 1615. We were blessed with thousands of acres of land
from Pocahontas father, Chief Powhatan. My wife, our baby, and I traveled to England on the
ship, Treasurer, in 1616. Pocahontas was soon addressed by the name, Princess Pocahontas,
because she was so widely respected. While in England, we visited Queen Anne and King James
I. While in London, Pocahontas met John Smith who she thought was dead. We stayed and
toured England for several months, and on our trip back home Pocahontas became very ill and
died. I returned back to Virginia while Thomas, our son, stayed in England. I soon married the
daughter of a colonist. Her name was Jane Pierce. Soon after we married, we had a daughter and
named her Elizabeth. My house was on my tobacco plantation, and it was attacked by stupid Native
Indians. I honestly don t know why they hate me so much. It s devastating. There, I was left
stranded with no help, just lying in the grass. It s my time to go...
Rich Apparels Commercial Analysis
In Rich Apparels, we have shot a commercial, rolled out new designs, television and radio features
and are now featured in Bosede s 5th Annual Fashion Show.
At the moment, we currently have our pieces on our online boutique however at the top of the year
we have a few stores we will be in.
Yes!! My commerical!! In March 2016, we have shot a commercial for BET, MTV, E! Network
and VH1. That was my first time being able to not only be the designer but also to be the producer
and director in my own commercial. Some people were actually shocked when I told them my roles
in Rich commercial but with my brand Rich I am very hands on. Having my commercial play
during the MTV Movie Awards was definitely a surreal moment for me. Having my commercial air
on BET, MTV, E! Network and VH1 helped me greatly with exposures and sales. I definitely plan
on shooting another commercial at the top of next year in which I am super excited about! ... Show

For the fashion show, the main focus is to not only highlight local and upcoming designers but
also were raising money for The Kansas City Boys and Girls Choir. To be featured in such a big
event to showcase my Spring 2017 Line is such a humbling feeling. The night of November 12 will
be a movie.
My biggest goal for the end of this year is to complete my documentary Roosevelt: Behind Rich . I
started recording late 2015. Lots of people of asked me Why are you shooting a documentary? You
re only 21? I want to show my generation that it s not easy to just start up your own company. There
s so much that goes into owning a clothing brand and I want to show people the positives and the
struggles in owning your own brand.
In 2017, I hope to feature in more fashion show for example Kansas City, New York, Chicago
Fashion Week. The sky s the limit! I hope to expand my brand even larger and making Rich
Apparels a household name. I would love to bring something totally different in 2017 with my
designs; something my consumers would never
A Brief Summary Of Kennedy s Assassination
The first part of the book explains how Kennedy visited Texas for the second presidential election
coming up and how Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald had been on the
6th floor of the Texas School of Book Depository and shot Kennedy in the back and in the head
while also injuring Governor Connally. Days after the assassination, Oswald was killed by a club
owner named Jack Ruby. Later on, the book goes on to talk about other theories behind Kennedy s
death such as the idea that there were two gunman, Oswald, Ferrie, or Shaw came up with a
conspiracy to kill Kennedy, gangsters, or the Cuban/Castro theory. The end of the book concludes
that most theories were proven wrong and the idea that Lee Harvey Oswaldalone killed John
Little Round Top Research Paper
Brigadier General Gouverneur K. Warren
Many attribute the Union s defense of Little Round Top during The Battle of Gettysburg to
Chamberlain, a colonel in the 20th Maine Infantry and defended Little Round Top. It may be true
that Chamberlain played an important role in defending Little Round Top, nevertheless all the credit
should not go to him. Gouverneur K. Warren should be considered a bona fide key player to the
success at Little Round Top, because of his ability to realize the Union s weak point and form a
strong defense in time to fight off the Confederates. If it were not for Warren the Confederates,
from the words of Robert McNamara could have overrun the left flank of the entire Union Army,
and possibly won the battle and conceivably the entire Civil War (1).
Born on January 17, 1830 in Cold Spring, New York, the son of Sylvanus Warren and Phebe Warren.
The two named Gouverneur Kemble after a prominent local congressman and industrialist. Warren

The position and view of the hill allowed for anyone to oversee the entire Union Army, therefore
this would be a huge advantage to the Union. As Warren observed atop the hill, he watched as the
Union made an inordinate left flank by the foot of the hill. The Union were not the only ones
making a move, however, the Confederates were advancing towards the hill and shrouded from the
Union s sight by a line of trees. The Confederates managing to capture the practically barren hill
meant the likely end to the Union at Gettysburg. The position would allow the Confederates to
attack the Union in the side and rear with their artillery, which significantly weakening the Union to
the point of no hope. If this were to happen then the Union would have to evacuate Cemetery Ridge,
and the field would go to Robert E. Lee, commander of the Confederates. (Savior
Critical Interpretation On Dante s Divine Comedy
Within the last century or so, much of the critical interpretation on Dante s Divine Comedy has
been part of what is sometimes called symbolic literature. Symbolistic literature usually contains
superimposed ideas conceive by the writer s imagination, which is based on a collection of
religious and culturally opinionated ideas that the poet used to fashion the story but does not
literally invent. The poet s view of the world is skewed by the time in which they live, the way
they were brought up, and in part by cultural idealisms. Because of this, interpretation of Dante s
book is restricted to a select group of critics and interpreters. Interpretation of symbolic literature
aims to reveal the true meaning behind the text, which is usually extremely difficult to translate as
we can only guess what the author really indented to mean. This difficulty of translation is
compounded by the fact that the Devine Comedy has been translated from Italian to English,
Italian being a rather out of the way language when compared to English. This all being said, it is
almost impossible to derive exact interpretation of what Dante meant and why he may have put
characters where he put them. Suicide has and always will be a very controversial issue in the
terms of defining it as a sin. It is a very tender subject that can spark fierce debates. As the author of
the Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieritakes a bold stance on the issue of suicide. He believes the act of
committing suicide is a mortal
Essay on Botswana

(1)The people of Botswana are presently torn between the survival of its ancestors cultural traditions
and the growth of an optimistic republic. Within this study, the characteristics of Batswana s
lifestyles from the past, their present conditions, and outlooks upon the country s future will be

Bushmen (also known as San or Basarwa) and countless numbers of different tribes, who coexisted

impacting the lives of Batswana and vice versa. Finally, the changes that occur in the meaning, use,

(3) Botswana is a landlocked country, which is bordered immediately south by South Africa,
north and west by Namibia, north and east by Zimbabwe, and is connected by a narrow strip of
land on its northern border to Zambia. On Botswana s northwestern border, Namibia s Caprivi
Strip separates Botswana from Angola (Angola is Zambia s western border) (5). The majority of
Botswana s population, about 80% or four fifths, is concentrated in a fifth of the country s territory,
which is a narrow, arable strip beside the easternmost Limpopo River (7, p.75). Only about 1% of
Comparison Of Heroism In The Hero With A Thousand Faces
In The Hero with a Thousand Faces , the author explores a variety of myths and elucidates the
fundamental structure that most of them share. In most cases, the heroes adopt the true picture of
heroism, where the heroic personalities make painful personal sacrifices in order to save situations
that are dear to them. In addition, most heroic figure appears humbled by the respect accorded to
them by the society and always acts in a selfless manner to defend the society. However, there are a
few instances when the heroes assume a status way above average humans and using that status to
hoard all the social benefits for themselves. This is the argument that Joseph Campbellputs forward
regarding Minotaur, the tyrant monster. According to literature, Minotaur was a monster that had
quite intimidating body, half of it man and half of it a bull. The monster basically personified ego
unlike typical monsters that showed humility and self annihilation. The only food that the monster
ate was human flesh and none of the strongest heroes would dare challenge him. It is the reason
why fourteen children would be sent to it every year from Greece to the Island of Crete, where it
lived. The people believed that this was the only way to prevent the society from experiencing some
of the worst calamities.
Campbell s argument that Minotaur was a typical tyrant monster is very true. His story correlates
with that of Sherlock in the Merchant of Venice. In this story, Sherlock appeared to be using
