Supreme Court Justices
In Article Three of the United States Constitution, the framers established a judicial branch of
government that comprised of the Supreme Court and lower courts. In Article Two, the framers
gave the President of the United States the power to nominate a Supreme Court Justice and, with
Senate confirmation, requires Justices to be appointed. After being elected, the White House staff
prepares a list of possible candidates for the President to use as potential picks, usually consisting of
judges, politicians, and other individuals they consider to be appropriate for the nomination. Once
the candidate is selected, the White House staff sends out a vetting form for them to fill out and
visits the candidate to go over tax records and payments... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Personally, I have kept my opinions on President Trump down to a minimum because I think
many people are over reacting about his ideas and crazy opinions. Yes, President Trump has
shown us he can potentially be a terrible President, but I think it is too early in his time to make
crazy accusations about him. President Trump will select the proper judges who he believes to
be conservative and rule in favor of his political beliefs. Potentially a new trend in the Supreme
Court could be the take over of conservative Justices, if President Trump is given the option to
select another Justice to the Court. This could potentially change the rulings in a few cases the
conservatives did not have go their way, but it could also lead to some that could benefit our
country as well. I think critics of Trump need to give it time, it is still early to make crazy
assumptions about President Trump. For all we know, he could end up making changes to our
country that help benefit us in the long
We Were Liars Character Analysis
Adversity, rather it be a bully at school or even a sprained ankle playing your favorite sport; these
things are what build our character. When we are young we are naive to the world around us, our
only influence is our family. As a child you adopt a base character, adversity helps build onto this.
In We Were Liars by E. Lockhart the liars are blinded by wealth and power, when tragedy strikes
the liars characters are changed dramatically showing that adversity is the main influence on a
person s character. Cadence Sinclairis the daughter of Penny Sinclair and granddaughter of Harris
Sinclair. Every summer Cadence and the liars vacation at Beechwood where they are blind to all
lifes troubles because their vision is clouded by money and power. In the beginning of We Were
Liars, Cadence does not know what happened during her accident or the cause of her accident.
She is confused, she feels weak and pities herself. She says, MY FULL NAME is Cadence
Sinclair Eastman. I live in Burlington, Vermont, with Mummy and three dogs. I am nearly
eighteen. I own a well used library card and not much else, though it is true I live in a grand house
full of expensive, useless objects. I used to be blond, but now my hair is black. I used to be
strong, but now I am weak. I used to be pretty, but now I look sick. Cadence feels bad for herself
stating she is no longer pretty and strong. We see that Cadence is hopeless and is unhappy with life.
After Cadence learns the truthabout her family

In the cash flow statement, we cannot see the cash flow by line cost expenses separately. It must be
under the accounts payable and other current liabilities. Therefore, we assume that all line costs are
journalized by accounts payable and accrued line costs account. | Debit| Credit| Line costs expense|

WorldCom paid outside service providers to carry some parts of its calls and to carry its customers
calls on those lines. These costs were fixed monthly payments for the use of lines, regardless of
whether the WorldCom or its customers used those lines or not. e In the case, line costs are
capitalized. Capitalized expenditures are booked as assets. In the balance sheet of WorldCom,
capitalized line costs must be seen under the transmission equipment account. Journal entry related to
purchase may be as following, noting that if the item was acquired on account, and then the credit
would go towards an account payable:

| Debit| Credit| Transmission equipment| $3,055 | | Cash| | $3,055 |

If the line costs were originally recorded as expense, the correcting journal entry would be a credit
to the expense and a debit towards an asset account: | Debit| Credit| Transmission equipment| $3,055
| | Line costs expense| | $3,055 |

As stated above, these costs appear in the

Where Angels Fear to Tread, by E.M. Forster
Fools rush in where angels fear to tread, is a saying is commonly used to emphasize how ignorance
can result in decisions that lead to unfavorable situations. Likewise, in Where Angels Fear to Tread,
Edward Morgan Forster uses irony, point of view, and satire to effectively emphasize how
stereotypes, prejudices, misunderstanding of cultural differences, and hypocrisy could lead to
unfavorable circumstances. Where Angels Fear to Treadbegins as a light and comedic novel but later
develops to become more dense and tragic.
The novel starts off in a train station in England where a widow named Lilia Herriton prepares to
leave on a trip to the fictional Italian town of Monteriano. Her mother in law, Mrs. Herriton, and her
two children, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Forster also uses satire to criticize the emphasis placed on class and cultural differences by the
Herritons and other citizens of Sawston, England. Mrs. Herriton, after hearing of Lilia s
engagement, sends Philip to break up the engagement, not because she wanted to protect Lilia, but
because she wanted to protect her own social status which would be tarnished if Lilia were to marry
an unemployed foreigner. Forster also uses the story of the Italian saint, Santa Deodata to satirize the
behavior of the Herritons. Santa Deodata s story is shown in the following excerpt:
So holy was she that all her life she lay upon her back in the house of her mother, refusing to eat,
refusing to play, refusing to work. The devil, envious of such sanctity, tempted her in various
ways...When all proved vain, he tripped up the mother and flung her downstairs before her very
eyes. But so holy was the saint that she never picked her mother up, but lay upon her back through
all, and thus assured her throne in Paradise. (Forster, 396)
This story of a girl who lacked concern for her mother is used to criticize the Herritons and other
English people lack love for their family and place social status and formal convention over their
own relatives.
The use of these literary devices in the novel was effective in placing emphasis on the key
The Benefits Of Dress Codes
According to studies there is no hard evidence that dress code are helping students at school. Some
parents can t afford the dress codes, students aren t able to express themselves if they like to be
creative, and there s actually no evidence that strict dress codes help students with behavioral
problems. Schools that have dress codes do have some benefits, but not that many students like the
dress codes.
Some parents can t afford some of the schools specific dress codes. That resulted in kids not going
to school and getting the education they properly need.Even so experts say, Financially, groups such
as the American Civil Liberties Union have voiced corners about the cost of uniforms, specifically

her self esteem. Quotes from, experts say that, Students often use clothing as an outward
manifestation of their personalities to show the world who they are without having to articulate it
through speech or dramatic behavior. (http.oureverydaylife.com).
Their is no true evidence that it shows fairness about students or reducing situations at school.
Experts from out of state say, Conversely, a study conducted at the University of Northern Michigan
found no relationship between uniforms and achievements, and a negative correlation between
uniform and student s behavioral problems.
Those who disagree, believe that school dress codes causes fewer disruptions. Even so, quotes from,
experts say that, An American Indian tribe in South Dakota claims that their input was ignored when
uniforms are culturally biased. Alternatives to the opposition s claims also states that, Further, school
uniforms present a potential drawback for gay, lesbian, and transgender students who might desire to
dress according to their sexual or gender orientations.
In conclusion, schools have no purpose to have school dress codes at a district because some dress
codes are too expensive, the school lacks school spirit, and there is no actual evidence that dress
codes are helpful. It is proven that school uniforms are not helpful to students, even though other
students and parents say otherwise. Help encourage other school districts to let go the school dress
codes policies around the
I Am A Girl, The World Of Esthetics Intrigued Me
About Me
Every since I was a little girl, the world of esthetics intrigued me. I have always loved the way
people can manipulate their features and transform them, whether that is hair, skin, nails or
cosmetics. As I grew up to began to become more and more attracted to cosmetics. My passion for
it did not begin until high school, where I realized my full potential. Throughout my four years of
high school I was on the dance team, where our makeup had to look uniform. As a freshman, my
15 year old friends did not know a thing about makeup and I knew the basics. They would have
me do their makeup and would always tell me that I should be a makeup artist. As the years went

My makeup line will be sure not to anything harmful to a consumer s skin, which is why the proper
research is necessary.

Starting a Makeup Line

Research and Design
One of the most important steps in starting a makeup line is finding a research lab to work with,
which is where most of my time will be spent. (Marlena, 2012) In a research lab I will decide what
ingredients that I want in my line. It is very important to find a lab that is credible and
trustworthy. There are many expensive brands in the industry that are in the higher range of
prices. I want my line to be affordable therefore I need a affordable lab that will help me create
quality products. Another important step is finding a factory for packaging and filling. This is
where I will be able to decide how I want my line to look. Smart packaging helps its targeted
consumers feel an emotional attachment to a brand. (Jarski,2014) choosing the smartest color
scheme, shape, and design of my product can determine how well my product can sell. About one
third of a consumer s decision to purchase something is its display or packaging. Especially in the
beauty market today, I have to make sure my products appeal to consumers. Cosmetics is all about
empowerment therefore I need a product that is going to appeal to that side of a woman.

According to the graph, many women have an emotional attachment to makeup which makes them
feel in control (Gaillie, 2013) It is important for me to
The Problem Of Substance Abuse
The problematic situation that brings a client to seek counseling is not often seen clearly by the
client or others that may be associated. This is the reason that a therapist must use various
assessment tools to determine potential disorders that may be the root to a problem. Though at times
a client may seek counseling with a known substance abuseissue there are more cases where a client
is oblivious to the potential contribution that substance abuse has on the problem that help is
sought for. Understood that substance dependency is nondiscriminatory to age, gender, race or
creed, a therapist approaches the matter with the client knowing that a problem is recognized
and there is a hope for a solution being sought by the client. At the same time it is also known that
an addictive personality will be protective of this disorder, producing a defensive posture and
plausible deniability. A therapist must assess the potential of such a disorder existing and the
readiness of the client to change within the initial interview. Chamberlain (2013) notes that it is
initially important to ask a client directly about his or her use of drugs (p. 125). The interview
process will assess the proper screening that must take place in order to derive a proper diagnosis
for treatment. Five such tools used by therapists to screen and assess a client differ in various ways
depending on the client s age and willingness.

The Culture Of The And The Tempest By William Shakespeare
The culture of a space has a powerful influence on the people inhabiting that space, an influence that
alters inhabitants to varying degrees. Through the writings of Kant, Montaigne, and Shakespeare in
particular their works What is Enlightenment?, Of Cannibals, and The Tempest, respectively this
idea of cultural influence is able to take shape. Cultureis something that all people carry with them,
pieces of places and people they have known and groups to which they have been a member. The
natural state of people is twisted by culture until there default worldview is changed as if looking
through a bias lens. All people carry with them a view of normalcy that is a product of their
environments.
Montaigne presents this argument about culture s creation of a bias lens in Of Cannibals. The
reader is forced to acknowledge that a view of barbarism stems from what is unfamiliar.
Cannibalism is not a norm of the reader s culture, and as such the reader is forced to question why
cannibalism appears so barbaric when compared with the atrocities of their own culture. The
familiarity of the evil that is known is what makes that evil appear less barbaric. In reality, and as
Montaigne helps his reader to see, the forms of torture that are familiar to the reader are no less
indecent than the cannibalistic society, but the culture that practices cannibalism seems uncivilized
because to the reader because cannibalism is something taboo in their culture. Societal structures and
norm create a

Mesosystem: The mesosystem is the relation between the various microsystems in a child s life. A
child s mesosystem is impacted by his or her actions in the microsystem. For example, how a child
reacts to a loss has a direct impact on his or learning environment, household, playground and so
forth.
Ecosystem: According to our text, The exosystem refers to the external relationships in which a
child is influenced indirectly. Within this system, a child s indirect contact can include culture,
community, and society. For example if a child s family was to have been pounce on by a natural
disaster and losing most of the family s life necessities then ultimately all the pressure and
disconformities would eventually trickle down to the child. Even though he was not directly
involved in the onslaught, his life will ultimately be effected as the family struggles to survive.
Macrosystem: Our text describes the macrosystem as, The culture in which the individual lives.
Members of a cultural group share a common identity and most importantly values. The way a
community grieves depends on the community s values and beliefs. We as Mexican/Americans
