Study of Aakash Health Care
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The study was conducted to find the utilization time of minor operation theatre in Aakash
healthcare, Dwarka . The objectives were to analyse the time utilization of minor OT and to
suggest remedial measures for effective utilization. The study was conducted for a period of 4
weeks and data was collected for 174 patients. Time taken for various procedures performed in the
theatre are noted. The data collected were analysed by statistical methods and the utilization time per
day was calculated as the total mins of OT used in a day/ total mins of OT available in a day. It
was observed that in spite of the organization s effort to increase the utilization time of the minor
operation theatre by also using it as a procedure room ,it is still under utilized in Aakash health care.
It identified the bottle neck as the shortage of surgical patients.

Assess the Potential of Three Sources of Renewable Energy...
After experiencing the replacement of manual and animal labour by steam engines in the
Industrial Revolution, cheap fossil fuels then became the main source of energy. However, faced
with the notable increase demand for energy, fossil fuel, as a non renewable resource becomes
scarcer and more expensive nowadays. To solve this problem, the world needs to replace fossil
fuels with other sources of energy which are relatively low cost and more secure. Renewable energy
is such a potential energy. This essay will give an outline of three sources of renewable energy to
be used in developing nations, which are solar energy, wind powerand biomass. First, it will give a
definition of fossil fueland renewable energy, then it will move to analyse... Show more content on

Other developing nations such as Mexico, India, Egypt, etc are now making great efforts.
Admittedly, it will be worth an investment if the expense continues to fall down to an acceptable
extent, as predicted (Aringhoff et al, 2005; Seitz, 2002; and Middleton, 2003).
As another renewable energy widely used, wind power, which is now mainly used for generating
electricity today, has been used for thousands of years powering human activities. Unlike solar
energy previously mentioned, wind is caused by the uneven heating of the earth s surface by the
sun so that wind energy is an indirect form of solar energy (Volker, 2005). Wind is called a
renewable energy source owing to the infinite sun shines.
However, one crucial part of establishing a wind power system is high technology, which is now the
main defect in the developing world. Even in some developed countries such as Demark, lack of
expert engineers in the wind industry is noticeable. It is convincingly argues that there is quite an
engineering challenge especially for the less developed nations to design an efficient wind turbine
harnessing energy and turning it into electricity. In addition, it seems rather a challenge to offer
opportunities for technology transfer, training and practical experience for the industry and potential
wind energy supporting industries and organisations for the current developing world.
Contributions made by wind energy seem mainly to be the
The Works of Magritte Essay
Rene Magritte was an enigmatic and strange man who painted surrealism paintings. Little is
known about his childhood except that his mother, Regine Magritte took her own life by
drowning herself in the Sambre river. Young Magritte is thought to have discovered her body
floating with her night garment covering her face. There is speculation that this trauma was an
influence on many of Magritte s works. When Rene Magritte took up his brushes, he created
beautiful visual riddles that delight and bewilder the viewer. His clean lines and highly detailed
finishes made his brush strokes nearly invisible; his paintings look as if they came from a printing
press. Magritte referred to his paintings as his labors. He did labor over the paintings... Show more

The exploration of the mind and the way our conscious mind perceives the symbols of our
subconscious minds was new ground and it gave art a new voice with which to sing. The
surrealist artists believed the dream state and subconscious mind to be an untapped and very fertile
creative fount of inspiration. The symbolism of dreams and the expressive images generated by the
subconscious were far more thought provoking than the representational, logical images of the
conscious mind. The surrealist artists were creating art out of what others thought to be garbled
and unintelligible. They were in effect taking a concept created to heal and using it to create art
instead. They were on to something with this. No matter what the medium or the style used, a bit
of the self becomes visible and evident in the result. Art therapy is one of the modern descendants
of this movement. The movement spread and soon there were surrealist groups cropping up in the
metro areas of the world. It was around this same time that Rene Magritte was shown a painting by
Giorgio de Chirico and soon became member of the surrealist group. Today, the name Magritte has
come to be synonymous with Surrealism. It may have been that Magritte felt attraction to the
surrealist movement because of its ability to convey an idea with great eloquence as well as its
focus on the deeply meaningful rather than the superficial. His statement about the works of Giorgio
de Chirico supports this
The Use Of Computers And Technology For Criminal...
Cybercrime is the use of computers and technology for criminal activities. Crimes that are
committed in the virtual realm encompass a wide category. Thanks to the easy availability and
increasing dependence on technology, cybercrimes are a fast growing criminal undertaking that is
limitless in its potential. With the fast pace advancements in technology, cybercriminals are
evolving their methods faster than law enforcement can advance theirs making it difficult to
incriminate them. In addition, the lack of a physical barrier, as well as the lack of an individual or
corporation knowing they are victims, makes it difficult to trace the criminals because no barrier is
preventing attacks from occurring, or isolating it to a local area, and because attacks do not cause
physical or mental harm. However, with research and resources, law enforcement has identified a
common medium a cybercriminal uses to commit crimes: crimeware, commonly known as computer
viruses. When discussing cybercrime, common terms that come to mind are viruses, hacking and
online identity theft. All these three terms share a common characteristic: they all require software.
Hackers use software to plant viruses to steal information. Crimeware is a subclass of [malware]
(Emigh, 2006, p. 246) and is defined as a software running without the consent of a victim for
nefarious purposes. Crimeware is routinely used to commit online identity theft. This is achieved
typically through phishing, which (as its name

Personal versus Public Poetry
Personal vs. Public Poets write poetry to express their inner thoughts and views. In Seamus Heaney s
poem From the Frontier of Writing, Heaney describes how the publics react to his poetry. Heaney
does this by portraying the process of going through a military transport. Heaney shows a conflict
between his inner thoughts and the public s reactions to them. This creates tension between the
personal and the public. Throughout this poem, Heaney portrays the process of going through a
military transport.
He makes the reader feel as if they are the ones going through the process by his use of you, your,
and you re throughout the poem. Heaney tries to use this poem to show the reader his feeling
towards the media and critic of his poetry. Heaney uses images of hostility by the soldiers in
stanzas 1 6 to express how he feels when someone criticizes or reads his poem. Heaney faces
readers and critics inspecting his poetry such as, troops inspect [the car s] make and number
(Heaney, line 2 3). Heaney feels as if the critiques are marksmen, training down out of the sun
upon [him] like a hawk, (Heaney, lines17 18). Heaney fears of judgment as the critiques, eyeing
with intent, inspect his poem (Heaney, line 5). In the last two stanzas, there is a shift in tone as
Heaney feels that the critics and readers are gone. Suddenly, Heaney feels, arraigned yet freed, as
he finally passes through the soldiers or critics (Heaney, line 19). This shows the relief he feels when
Impact Of The Human Rights Act 1998
1.2THE HUMAN RIGHTS ACT 1998
An Act to give further effect to rights and freedoms guaranteed under the European Convention on
Human Rights; to make provision with respect to holders of certain judicial offices who become
judges of the European Court of Human Rights; and for connected purposes.
The Human Rights Act 1998 (c42) is an Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom which received
Royal Assent on 9 November 1998, and mostly came into force on 2 October 2000.[1] Its aim was to
incorporate into UK law the rights contained in the European Convention on Human Rights. The Act
makes a remedy for breach of a Convention right available in UK courts, without the need to go to
the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg.

Impact on policy formulation
The HRA has had a significant, but beneficial, effect upon the development of policy by central
government.
Formal procedures for ensuring compatibility , together with outside scrutiny by the Parliamentary
Joint Committee on Human Rights, had improved transparency and Parliamentary accountability.
The HRA leads to better policy outcomes by ensuring that the needs of all members of the UK s
increasingly diverse population are appropriately considered. It promotes greater personalisation and
therefore better public services.
Myths and misperceptions
The HRA has been widely misunderstood by the public, and has sometimes been misapplied in a
number of settings.
Deficiencies in training and guidance have led to an imbalance whereby too much attention has been
paid to individual rights at the expense of the interests of the wider community.
This process has been fuelled by a number of damaging myths about human rights which have taken
root in the popular
Tense Present Democracy, English, And The Wars Over Usage
Summary of Tense Present Democracy, English, and the Wars over Usage Published in April of
2001 by Harper s Magazine, David Foster Wallace s essay is both a review of A Dictionary of
Modern Usage by Bryan A. Garner and an interjection into the present day Usage Wars. Wallace s
thesis for his essay is stated after a list of grammatical errors that are overlooked on a daily basis
and a few paragraphs defining SNOOT. His thesis states, Issues of tradition vs. egalitarianism in
U.S. English are at root political issues and can be effectively addressed only in what this article
hereby terms a Democratic Spirit. A Democratic Spirit is an attitude a person can have only by
being fervent in his/her beliefs while also recognizing and respecting the beliefs of another. After
sorting out what constitutes a Democratic Spirit and how to maintain such an attitude the author
questions who has the authority to write a dictionary and, thus, determine which words go into the
book and which words are left on the wayside. Wallace praises Garner for his full discloser
statement, which acknowledges Garner s principles and gives background information to his text.
Next, in his essay, Wallace notes Garner s use of Ethical Appeal. The use of ethos, Wallace says, is
refreshing because it is hardly ever used in dictionary. Most dictionaries are political battle ground in
a war that is fought between the Prescriptivists (linguistic conservatives) and the Descriptivists

Serbia Research Paper
BACKGROUND PAPER
ON
SERBIA
1. Serbia has been the primary mover of regional affairs in the Balkan Peninsula for the past 30
years. This paper will briefly discuss Serbia s history and myth, its involvement in regional unrest,
its religion and spiritual ties, how those ties encourage its behavior, and the United States actions in
the region in an attempt to keep the peace and develop Serbia into a stabilizing force for the region.

2. In 1989 Slobodan Milosevic came to power in the Socialist Republic of Serbia, then one of six
republics that made up the federation of Yugoslavia, on a platform that aggravated the ethnic
tension in the region.1 In 1991 three of the six republics declared independence from Yugoslavia,
followed by a fourth in 1992.2 Milosevic launched military campaigns and when the fighting
ceased in 1995. The two remaining republics, Serbia and Montenegro, formed the Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia.3 In 1997, Serbia began a brutal campaign that involved the massacre of
hundreds of civilians, mostly ethnic Albanians, in the region of Kosovo.4 Milosevic was ousted in
2000 and the nation was once again reorganized in 2003.5 In 2006, Montenegro seceded, followed

Religion is deeply rooted in Serbia s history and is to blame for much of the violence the nation has
seen recently.7 The people adopted Orthodox Christianity in the late 9th century.8 The church played
an instrumental role in helping the Serbs maintain a national identity during nearly five hundred
years of Ottoman rule.9 In Serbia, each ethnic group has also been divided along religious lines.
This distinction is largely to blame for the ethnic violence in the region; especially in Kosovo.10
Today, Serbia is predominantly Serbian Orthodox Christian at 84.6 percent, followed by Catholic (5
percent), Muslim (3.1 percent Kosovo is 95.6 percent Muslim11), and Protestant 1
The Pros And Cons Of The Fourth Amendment
The Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution protects every individual s personal
privacy, and every person s right to be free from unwarranted government intrusion in their homes,
businesses and property, regardless of whether it is through police stops and checks or the search of
their homes. In the context of Mr. Smith s Arrest, he was arrested without a warrant of arrest and
there was a search, which was conducted by a private citizen on his premises without a search
warrant, the courts upheld his arrest and subsequent conviction thus implying that all due processwas
followed before reaching at the verdict. The constitutionality of search and arrest without a warrant
was challenged in the case of PayTon v. Newyork, (1980) (Payton v. New York | Casebriefs, 2017).
The Supreme Court consolidated two cases where the police gained entry into the defendants home
without a search warrant and seized evidence found in the house. The rule of law as read out under
the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment posits that the United States Constitutionhas prohibited
warrantless entry and search of a premise, absent the exigent circumstances, regardless the existence
of a probable cause. The courts in Payton held that the Fourth Amendment made it a violation to
enter a premise during an arrest absent an arrest warrant and exigent circumstances; a person s house
is a critical point to which the constitutional safeguards should be respected. In Riley v. California

Essay on Making a Tissue Box Cover
Adding decorative elements to a home can be done in many ways. One interesting option is to
create a cover for any dull looking tissue box in a living room, kitchen, or other room. The cover for
a standard tissue box can be made from many types of materials. One option is to use construction
paper or fabric which needs to be sewn. However, the cover will need to fold up on each side of the
box which is then fastened at the top. Review a few steps to make a simple tissue box cover.

Fabric Tissue Box Cover

Multiply the height of the tissue box by the width after adding one quarter inch for the seams.
Measure the top of your box and obtain the width and the height. Add one quarter inch to each
measurement and then multiple them together. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Add one quarter inch to each measurement. The top also needs to be measured for the width and
length.

Transfer the measurements for the tissue box to sheets of pieces of one quarter inch foam board.
Use a a ruler and utility knife to cut each piece. Trim one eighth of an inch from two side pieces.
Cut an oval shape out of the top section for the tissue.

Apply tacky glue to each edge of the side pieces and glue them together to form a square. The glue
will likely be dry in a couple of minutes. Apply tacky glue around the top and press the top piece in
place.

Determine the color for your tissue box cover and purchase the necessary construction paper. You
have the option for black paper or another color for the base if accessories are being added.

Measure each side of the tissue box to obtain the width and height. Transfer the measurements
over the the paper and cut out five sheets. Attach double sided tape to the back of each black
sheet. Place all the sheets on the sides of the tissue box. The next step is to measure the width and
length of the top of your tissue box. Cut a piece of construction paper and tape it to the top of the
tissue box. A pair of scissors is needed to cut the hole for the tissue.

Decorate the sides of the tissue box by using different piece of colored construction paper. Trace out
an object or different shapes and cut then out with the scissors. Apply small pieces of tape or craft

Haplogroup X History
The History of Haplogroup X Haplogroup X diverged from Haplogroup N more than 30,000 ybp
(Benson and Glad, 2006). Haplogroup N originated in Africa and can be traced back to over
70,000 years ago. There are traces of haplogroup N in Western Asia around 30000 B.C. The
atmosphere in Western Asia where haplogroup X originated from was desert like with grasslands,
deserts, and mountains. The summers were hot and dry which included a scorched climate with
periods of heavy rain. The living conditions were mostly dry with moderate temperatures with a
little amount of direct sun exposure which could account for the fair skin tone. The land the
inhabitants lived on was good for farming and had multiple water sources which gave rise to the fish

I am not sure if it is haplogroup X, but I wanted to learn about a haplogroup that is present in
Native Americans. Haplogroup X2a is not found anywhere else in the world which I found
amazing only because it is hard to trace its path. I believe once a lot of people are able to afford
the ability to have their mtDNA tested it will be easier to evaluate X2a. I found it interesting that
not only is haplogroup X unique but it is found in high frequencies in the Great Lakes population and
low frequencies in the Plains and Pacific Northwest. This caught my eyes because I am from Ohio
which is a part of the Great Lakes region and it is where my grandmother was born as well which
could give the possibility that X2a is a part of my lineage (Raff and Bolnick, 2015). I think it is
amazing that haplogroup X has shown a correlation between protection against harmful diseases and
promotion of successful aging (Courtenay et al., 2011). I think this could be a reason why the
people that brought haplogroup X into the New World lived and prospered so well even in the type
of environmental conditions they endured before, during, and after the Ice Age. The fact that they
have protection from diseases allowed them to conquer any illnesses that they might have come in
contact with while traveling or mating. In Amish populations today, haplogroup X was not only
successful
