ACTIVITY DESIGN for NUTRITION MONTH 2025
ACTIVITY TITLE: NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION
DATE/TIME: July 2025
VENUE: Puerto Elementary School
THEME: “FOOD AND NUTRITION SECURITY MAGING PRIORITY! SAPAT NA
PAGKAIN, KARAPATAN NATIN”
I. RATIONALE
In accordance with the annual Nutrition month celebration and with this year’s theme,
Puerto Elementary School has developed activities which aim to educate pupils, as well as
the public the importance of proper nutrition. We target to disseminate simple and practical
nutrition message that encourage our pupils to consume an adequate and well-balanced diet
together with a healthy lifestyle.
Nutrition education still remains as the cornerstone to improving the nutritional status of
the population in the long term.
II. OBJECTIVES
In line with the celebration of the Nutrition Month, Puerto Elementary School aims to:
1. educate students, as well as the public the importance of proper nutrition;
2. disseminate simple and practical nutrition message that encourage our pupils to
consume an adequate and well-balanced diet together with a healthy lifestyle;
and
3. inspire them to eat and live healthy through active participation of the various
nutrition month activities.
II. METHODOLOGY
Conduct a conference with the:
School Head and Teaching Staff for suggestions, final planning and
preparations for the event
Homeroom officers for the finalization of the posted event
Submission of the activity design with the Schedule of Activities
to the School Head’s office with for review and preliminary approval
to the office of the Division Superintendent for the final approval of the
activity
III. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY
Please refer to the attached Schedule of Activities.
Note: Most of the activities will take place every Friday of the month so as not to disrupt
other academic subjects.
