Breaking Bad Analysis
Breaking Bad Log 1 Vince Gilligan s Breaking Bad is a TV series about Walter White, a chemistry
teacher, who starts cooking Methamphetamine to provide money for his family. In an interview
with The New York Times, creator Vince Gilligan said the larger lesson of the series is that
actions have consequences . He elaborated on the show s philosophy: If religion is a reaction of
man, and nothing more, it seems to me that it represents a human desire for wrongdoers to be
punished. I hate the idea of Idi Amin living in Saudi Arabia for the last 25 years of his life. That
galls me to no end. I feel some sort of need for biblical atonement, or justice, or something. I like to
believe there is some comeuppance, that karma kicks in at some... Show more content on

Douthat went on to say that Walter White and Tony Soprano represent mirror image takes on the
problem of evil, damnation and free will . Walter as a man who deliberately abandons the light
for the darkness while Tony is someone born and raised in darkness who turns down opportunity
after opportunity to claw his way upward to the light. [31] Gilligan intimated he would inject
undertones of black comedy into the fifth season.[32] [edit]Pink teddy bear The pink teddy bear
as seen during the second season A recurring motif within the second season is the image of a
damaged teddy bear and its missing eye. The teddy bear first appears at the end of the music
video Fallacies for Jesse s fake band, TwaüghtHammër , which was released as awebisode in
February 2009 leading to the second season.[33] The teddy bear can also be spotted on the mural
on Jane s bedroom wall during the final episode of the second season, further connecting the crash
to Jane. It is seen in flashforwards during four episodes, the titles of which, when put together in
order, form the following sentence: Seven Thirty Seven down over ABQ .[34][35][36] The
flashforwards are shot in black and white, with
How Is Wilhelm II Similar To Napoleon III
William II vs. Napoleon III Wilhelm II and Napoleon III have many similarities including: they
were each named after a prominent figure in their family, the way they lost their power and their
political point of views, but the two monarchs also have some differences that include their
physical being, the time periods they were in power and how they achieved their power. Some
major events that each emperor was witness to an important to their legacies on. Napoleon III
witnessed the rise and fall then again rise and fall of France throughout his life time. William II
witnessed peaceful early years and then an ultimate war that at that time the world had never seen
before and witnessed the beginnings of the Second Great war (War and Peace in Europe from
Napoleon to the Kaiser).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Wilhelm II a.k.a. Wilhelm II (1859 1941), was the last German Kaiser or emperor, and also the king
of the Prussia from 1888 to 1918. He was a prominent figure in World War I and gained an infamous
reputation as an active militarist through his speeches and politically incorrect newspaper interviews.
He was born in Potsdam, Germany on January 27, 1859 to Frederick III of Germany and Victoria,
the first child of Queen Victoria of England. He arm was deformed during the birth and never
grew to full size and some historians believe the lame arm contributed to his rash behavior.
However, the most influential people to William s behavior were his parents, His mother was a
strong, stern woman as a result of her father Albert. His father was honorable intellectual, and
compassionate but he did not have the will or stamina that was needed for Frederick to be a strong

Hippotherapy Intervention Paper
Problem Statement Some difficulties that children with special needs may face are speech and
language disorders, physical impairments, and other conditions that may make everyday tasks more
challenging. Speech therapy can help people improve their ability to communicate verbally, physical
therapy can improve their gross motor functions, balance, posture, etc., and occupational therapycan
help people do common tasks they struggle with, such as cooking (Evans, n.d.; Bender McKenzie,
2008). If children receive therapy for certain diagnoses early in their lives, they may improve enough
that they would no longer even need therapy (Evans, n.d.). Hippotherapy, which is a form of therapy
treatment that utilizes the movements of a horse, is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Each child has goals that they are trying to reach, and, every day the child is present, their therapists
write down observations to determine what percentage the child has improved in their set goals,
which gives them a way to measure the child s success. The study I am proposing has an
experimental, qualitative design, as I plan to compare the percent each student improves during
hippotherapy sessions with the amount improved in classroom therapy sessions to determine if the
effects of hippotherapy on children with special needs are different from those of conventional
speech therapy. I will then use this data to answer the following question: What are the effects of
hippotherapy on improvement for children who take occupational, physical, and speech therapy that
are between the ages of two and seventeen as compared to those of conventional therapy? This
research will contribute to existing research being conducted for hippotherapy by comparing its
effects on children to those of conventional therapy, which can later influence parents and therapists
to consider therapy earlier in children s lives and look into more unconventional forms of
Joseph R Mccarthyism
McCarthyism by definition is the action of making accusations of disloyalty with inadequate
evidence to support. This idea was introduced by Senator Joseph R. McCarthy and was a vital
aspect in the U.S during The Cold War.

Joseph R. McCarthy

McCarthyism in a Nutshell
Throughout 1950 to 1954, the people of the United States of America were terrified of the spread of
communism. This was greatly known as The Red Scare . During this era, a key person by the name
of Joseph R. McCarthy (a republican senator of Wisconsin) started the supposed remedy of the Red
Scare or an add on to the famous Containment Policy.
In 1946, McCarthy won his race for the U.S senate and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
No, because the reason why the U.S was in war with Vietnam was to try to stop the spread of
communism. 2.8 million Vietnamese and 58,000 Americans would not have been killed, among
many millions of others. And would there have actually been a Cold War? No, because the reason
why U.S was at war with the Soviets was because U.S wanted to stop communism from spreading.
We were very loyal to our Containment Policy which were numerous of strategies to prevent the
spread of communism. These two wars wouldn t have happened if McCarthyism didn t

Restaurant in Pucon: Trawen

For the second restaurant, it was a pretty good one like the first one. I d have to say the thing I
liked the most about it was the dessert. I new I had to get a dessert because I haven t got a dessert
all trip and the waitress recommended it so why not. I was very full from what I had to eat before
but when the menu said the ice cream was the top in the country I knew it had to be somewhat
good. It s costed $10 but was the best ice cream I ve probably ever ate. Zach said the same but
London, Drew, and Chris were to full to eat dessert. Overall the food wasn t as good as Ficus
Restaurante but both were delicious.

After the waitress took our order which took 10 minutes, the cooks only took about 10 15 to get
our food to us. The thing that was even better was that the food was amazing. The reason the food
was so amazing is that all the meat was natural like everything else, well that s what the waitress
told us. It also says that on the menu. Also some pros were that it was very cheap. Meals costing
anywhere from $5 $25 isn t bad especially considering how good it tasted. Overall, we completely
recommend this restaurant. Service was great, food was great and we hope to visit it again.

Entertainment We had lots of fun in Chillan, Chile. What we did first was we went to the
Southern Lakes. Man the southern lakes were great and had an amazing view of the crystal blue
water. We got to learn about the Mapuche culture and meet new people all around. After that we
got to go ski on some cool Volcanoes. These volcanoes were the best because they had snowy
slopes and we had never imagined this. Finally this was amazing because this volcanos you would
think is a hot magma experience but in general we had lots of
Lactase Intolerance
Only one third of the human population is capable of digesting lactose, which is the sugar found in
milk. This is most likely because only certain societies amongst the globe domesticated cows for a
food and income source around ten thousand years ago. People who had ancestors that were apart of
these communities are more likely to be lactasepersistent than those who do not. Communities such
as these were often seen in places such as Europe and Africa, which can likely be an explanation for
why lactase persistence is often found in those with European and African ancestry, while those with
Asian backgrounds are often lactase intolerant.
Lactose, which is the main sugar in milk, is very difficult for the small intestine to process. Because
of this, cells are required to make an enzyme referred to as lactase, which is only found in newly
born mammals, along with lactase persistent adult mammals. Lactase then breaks lactose into
glucose and galactose, possibly through the process of hydrolysis, and then the two sugars are
entered into the blood stream where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They compared the lactase gene on chromosome two between those who were lactase persistent and
those who were lactase intolerant and found that there was a one base difference, being a T instead
of a C. This can be considered a mutation found in European countries.
The lactase persistent mutation found in Europe was almost nonexistent in Africa. A different
mutation was found, but it was still seen in the lactase gene and allowed African adults to digest
milk. Both European and African backgrounds evolved independently, with two different mutations
that essentially allowed them to do the same thing. This can be considered a great example of
evolution and adaption in two different parts of the
Examples Of Actor Network Theory
The Actor Network Theory (ANT) is a social theory which treats objects as part of the overall
social network. This approach places emphasis on the capacity of nonhuman objects to interact and
even participate in various social networks and systems. The following information will explain
Actor Network Theory, provide examples of how it is believed to work, and explore the
relationship this theory has in regards to power and politics.
The Actor Network Theory Explained
This theory was developed by scholars Bruno Latour and Michel Callon. Sociologist John Law also
contributed to the theory. Humans and nonhumans are obviously not the same, but they can be
studied and observed in similar ways and can both be seen as actors influencing their environment.
Anything that makes a difference in the overall scheme of things can be considered an actor, or an
actant. Even though it is technically called a theory, ANT usually doesn t explain how or even why
a network emerges into the form that it does. Instead, ANT explores the intricate ties in a network.
In many ways it is more of a method than a theory. It describes how activities and habits can sustain
themselves while interacting with one another and working toward a common goal. Although ANT
is usually associated with science and technology, it has expanded into the field of sociology as ...

When it comes to politics and the power associated with it, the first thing that must be noted is that
much more is involved than the people, or in this case, the politicians. Ideas and concepts play a
crucial role in the political process. Therefore, just like the previous example of the hospital, there
are lots of moving parts, hence, actors, involved in politics. There are people, places, and
communication mediums involved. Even getting a message out depends on a channel or venue
through which that message must travel to reach the
Civil War Globalization
Over many years of trading between different people, goods from one region of the world can be
employed and enjoyed in another. This process is called globalization. There are some negative
connotations revolving around the word, but those are overpowered by all of its positive aspects. I
believe globalization is good for society because it helps countries win wars, impacts the economy
for the better, and spreads important technological advancements.
The Atlantic slave trade, although being extremely horrific, contributed to the success of the
northern United States during the Civil War. By helping to expand their military, the flood of slaves
going to the U.S during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries greatly affected the outcome of the Civil ...

The Birth Order Effect On Personality
The Birth Order Effect on Personality:
Is there a Cause or no Cause?
Roxan Rivas

Introduction
Throughout the years, researchers have come to believe that birth order is an important factor in
our lives, almost as important as gender or even genetics. This ties back to the old Nature vs
Nurture theory, where it is not only our biology that defines who we are and what we do, it is a
mixture of both our environment and our genes that help us develop as a whole. Whether you are an
only child, a first born, last born, or somewhere in between, some researchers have found that this is
important in defining your character, your values, goal orientation, and life successes. Psychology
has gone through periods of accepting these ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The GSS allows comparison between first born(FB) and later born(LB) from different families.
Overall, these two articles put into perspective the validity of birth order but also the general
development of personalities and achievement goals within children. These two perspectives are
helpful in depicting some uprising issues with both theories and will give us a holistic view on the
topic.
The first article communicates that birth order has an effect on personality and achievement. One of
the things that these researchers noticed is that there are many differences between family designs
such as social class, parental personality, and sibling size. However, they do not attempt to control
this as much because they feel it takes away from the natural control of the study. Their predictions
were that first born (FBs) would be more conscientious and achieving while later born (LBs) would
be perceived as more liberal, agreeable, and rebellious. They collected 4 within family data sets by
asking respondents to compare themselves to their siblings on various personality and achievement
dimensions. In study one, students from the University of California, Berkeley were asked to
nominate the rebel and the achiever in their families. Study 2 also had the same
Taino People
Many people of modern day Cuba are descendants the indigenous people of past centuries. During
the 15th century the past inhabitants of Cuba these past people were called the Tainos they were
descried by the Spanish visitors as, meek, humble, obedient and very hospitable, little given to
sexual pleasures or other exerting physical activities (12). The Tainos would live off the land they
often cultivated were yucca root, cotton, tobacco as well as maize and potatoes. The Tainos are not
the original indigenous people of the land of Cubalong before were a group of people were called
the Guanahatabeyes. The Guanahatabeyes were also migrants from far lands like modern day
Venezuela and Colombia. They were forced to go west because of two groups on the island, which
were the Tainos and the Siboneys; they travelled northwards from the Orinoco delta then the West
Indies Island. Both of these groups have something in common, which is that they both belonged to a
group named the Arawaks.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

a most gentle kind of people (12). Further more what changed for these groups was that the
Spanish came with many black slaves from Africa, which often time during this time era blacks
were the main source of free labor and maximum profit because their labor was free. A man by the
name of Nicolás de Ovando was the ruler in the year of 1498; he forced the local Indians into a

We packed the U Haul truck to the roof with all our treasures acquired over the last twenty years
living at the sea shore. As we pulled out of the driveway to begin our journey to Texas, my wife
Susan wiped a tear from her eye. Susan always wanted to return to her birthplace in Texas, now
was our chance, I lost my job at the marina. Blame it on the economy, people weren t buying or
using large powerboats like they were in the nineties. The marina kept losing money every year
and the owner decided to sell the marina to a housing developer and retire, leaving the employees
out of work at the end of the season. It was the first time in twenty years that I was unemployed. We

the outskirts of a very small mountain town in Tennessee, consisted of a motel, gas station,
restaurant and a few other stores. The whole town appeared to be one block long but surprisingly
there was a steak house within walking distance. We looked forward to relaxing, having a steak
and maybe a few beers before hitting the road the next day. It started to rain as we walked to the

as she replied, No reservations needed tonight. She started to show us to the right side dining room,
but I noticed another waitress wave her to the left section. The left side seemed to be completely
empty as we slid into a spacious booth near the back
Description Of The Model Of 11 Submodels Essay
The model
The model consisted in 11 submodels, one equation was used to calculate a random population and
simulate the IAA to each individual for all treatment (level of methionine+cysteine). The FI and
MCI are describing according to the performance of the flock population, with the price of amino
acid is calculated the feed cost with the increase of IAA. The model preconized that the optimum
IAA is dependent on the economic variables, therefore the model defines the NR with the variation
of the amino acid prices and sale poultry. The optimum IAA is determined by the relationship
between IAA and NR.
The input of model is: 1 μ of broiler; 2 SD, 3 parameters of the monomolecular model, 4 cost of
standard diet, 5 price of sale poultry, 6 parameters to estimate energy, 7 number of animals that wish
to simulate. The model output is the NR and the optimum amino acid intake.
Statistical approach and mathematical models
The model described simulates the potential performance and hence nutrient requirements at a flock
bird level, for this simulation needed of the µ and σ of the population, this parameter can be acquired
from experiments or literature data. Body weight gain (BWG.R) with random numbers from a
standardized normally distributed population were generated using the following generalized
equation (1):

BWG.R = ((SQRT ( 2×LN(RUNIF( )))×SIN(2×PI( )×RUNIF( ))) × σ + µ, Equation 1.

BWG.R is the BWG for a random population, RUNIF() is a random number from a
