My Classroom Layout For Twenty Four Fourth Graders
I chose to design my classroom layout for twenty four fourth graders. When designing my class, I
reminded myself that I may have students in my class with special needs. For this reason, my
classroom is designed so that anyone can get to one point to another without any problems. The
rows between all the clusters of desks are wide, and there is a pathway around the whole room that
can be used to go to different parts of my room. There is also a tableat the back of the room that
students with handicap disabilities may use if a deskis not suitable for them. This table may also be
useful for students with an aide. Although it is located in the back of the room, it is still near the
clusters of desks so these students will not feel left out from the rest of the class.
I chose to arrange my students desks in clusters of four, so that my students will be able to
interact on specific assignments and group activities daily. I will not have four random students in
each group, but rather place a high, low, low medium, and high medium learning ability student in
each cluster. This will allow me to sometimes pair two lows or two highs or a high and a low
together. This will be an advantage for all students because the highs will be able to assist the lows
by demonstrating what needs to be done, while they are helping themselves from understanding
concepts in a more intellectual way because they will be explaining them to others. These clusters
are placed in the center of the room so

Most humans resist the idea of stepping directly into the things that frighten them. Of course, there
are some things that warrant fear and deserve avoidance action (crime, fire, hurricanes, etc). But
those are things we don t tend to encounter regularly in our daily lives (hopefully).
Fear, none the less, is often present and yet not always warranted. If you are reaching beyond your
comfort zone, you ll likely feel afraid. That does NOT mean, you shouldn t reach. You should always
reach.
Here are some specific strategies you can use to take that fear and turn it into freedom, financial
freedom or personal freedom.
1. Do the scariest thing on your to do list the first thing in the morning
This will free you up immediately. Even if you don t get the result you wanted, just the fact that
you confronted your fear and took action will build your confidence and allow you to tackle other
things on your list that will now feel easy and breezy.
2. Ask your inner guidance what the fear is trying
Alexander Hamilton s A Strong Central Government
No. 12
In this paper Alexander Hamilton explains the need for a strong central government in order to
promote commerce. He claims that by introducing more precious metals, workers such as farmers,
merchants, mechanics, and manufacturers will all be enticed to work harder in order to achieve the
wealth needed to acquire these rewards . It would be their gratification for their hard work. Hamilton
also states that commerce will never replace agriculture for their interest are intimately blended and
interwoven. The most commerce can do is augment agriculture which is good for both parties, and
ultimately the nation. Mr. Hamilton believes that a strong central government that utilizes its land is
also needed for a nation to function. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since the principle part of US trade is done on the Atlantic coast, we would only have to defend one
main border. He concludes by stating that if the US continues to weaken its government, it wouldn t
be a safe or respectable nation.
No. 21
In this paper Alexander Hamilton discusses two main issues. The first issue discussed by Hamilton
is the US government s inabilities to enforce any written laws, meaning while to government can
create these laws there is nothing that can force ant state to follow them. Hamilton states that if
Massachusetts chooses to elect a monarch it could violently overthrow the governments of Rhode
Island, New Hampshire, or New York. The next issue discussed by Hamilton is the illogical
decision to provide states with quotas. He claims that the idea of providing a state with a quota is
as ridiculous as comparing the wealth of France to Britain. You cannot treat countries, or states, of
differing sizes as if they are the same. He elaborates further by comparing two counties in New York
State, King s County and Montgomery. Their differing size makes it impossible for them reach the
same quota. The same principle that states that the wealth of nations it too difficult to measure due
to the size, climate, soil, intelligence/ of its citizens, etc.; is the same for the states in the union of
the United States of America. He concludes by making the point that there are better ways to increase
Ogami Itto Essay
The story of Ogami Itto begins with him already ostracized from the palace, renting his and his
infant son s services in the street. His actual story is revealed through a series of flashbacks. Ogami
Itto used to be the executioner to the shogun, one of the highest and most hated positions in the
country. However, the underground arm of the Yagyu headed by Yagyu Retsudo plots against him,
in order to place a man under their control, in his stead. In their efforts, they have his wife slain by
ninjas, and manage to frame Itto, with false accusations about him overusing his authority. However,
the executioner manages to escape from their trap along with his son, after killing a number of their
men. As he is hunted by the Yagyu with his reputation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Furthermore, Misumi did not shy away from nudity, as most of the women appearing in the film
end up naked in some point, and occasionally raped. There is even a sex scene between Itto and a
prostitute, again in exploitation fashion, since the two of them are forced to have sex in front of
the ronins eyes. RELATED ARTICLES Lone Wolf and CubLONE WOLF AND CUBLady

plays his role with the restrained artistry of a kabuki actor (he uses to be a kabuki actor after role).
His strict persona is defined by his visage, with his eyes communicating a number of sentiments
and statuses, as in the scene where his look forces Daigoro to suckle a crazy woman s breast, or in
the scenes where he is about to attack. His stentorian voice also gives Itto an added level of respect.
On the other hand, Yunosuke Ito plays Yagyu Retsudo with a distinct hyperbole, which highlights
the fact that his character is equally evil, cunning, and
Acid Base Extraction Lab Report
Acid Base Extraction Lab
Experimental:
Three grams of a mixture containing Benzoic Acid and Naphthalene was obtained and placed in
100 ml beaker and added 30 ml of ethyl acetate for dissolving the mixture. A small amount (1 2
drops) of this mixture was separated into a test tube. This test tube was covered and labelled as M
(mixture). This was set to the side and used the following week for the second part of lab. The
content in the beaker was then transferred into separatory funnel. 10 ml of 1 M NaOH added to the
content and placed the stopper in the funnel. In the hood separatory funnel was gently shaken for
approximately one minute and vent the air out for five seconds. We repeated the same process in
the same manner one more time by adding 10ml of 1M NaOH.
After about 1 minute of shaking, the two layers separated. The organic layer on the top layer
(consisted of ethyl acetate and naphthalene) collected for further experiment; by adding Sodium
Sulfate into organic phase and filtering the Na2So4 from the solution using the wool. The dried
organic layer was weighed to get its mass and the residue of Na2SO4 were rinsed with ethyl acetate
under vacuum (rotary evaporator). The acid extract on the bottom layer which is a combination of
benzoic acid and NaOH were collected in the 50 mL Erlenmeyer beaker for the recovery of acid.
We then created an ice bath using a 250mL Erlenmeyer beaker. The 50 mL Erlenmeyer beaker was
then labeled as Acid Extract , and was placed in the
Martin Luther And John Calvin Views On Sinful People
Martin Luther and John Calvin Views on Sinful People
Justification by faith (Sola Fide), the core value of the Reformation, is the belief that
righteousness from God is a recompense for sinner s accounts through faith alone. The sixteenth
century movement for the reform of abuses in the Roman Catholic Church resulted in the
establishment of the Reformed and Protestant Churches. Reformers like Martin Luther and John
Calvin were two of the most significant figures in the history of The Reformation. They both
proclaimed Justification as the main subject of the gospel of God s grace. They were well
acknowledged for their common doctrines of salvation as the deliverance from sin and its
consequences. They believed that to be brought ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To compare Martin Luther s and John Calvin s view on the subject of a sinful person, I
thoroughly looked into their common doctrines and considered how they differ in implementing
the rules that manage their ideology. I was able to conclude that even though Luther and Calvin
shared similar doctrines, their conceptualization and interpretation of those doctrines is very
different. Based on their opinions of sinners, I further realized that not only do they have divergent
interpretations of similar doctrines, but they also have different ambitions and their personalities
are extreme opposites.
Luther often blamed the flesh, which Protestants refer to as our sinful nature (they
believed is the cause of human impurities), for the sins of every human and he gave credit to the
Spirit for every good things that man does. The Reformers and the Protestants believe that there
are two types of spirits: the Holy Spirit, which they proclaim to be the spirit of God, and the human
spirit, which is the part of humans that opens up to the spirit of God. The spirit that is often
refereed to when talking about the flesh is the human spirit (what does the Bible mean by the
flesh by Msgr. Charles Pope). We might argue that Luther is trying not to be judgmental, that he
acknowledged the fact that efforts to live a sinfree life is a mere dream, and the best approach to
reduce people being
I Completely Seduced ] Is A Free Form Poem
[completely seduced] is a free form poem focusing on the efforts and transformative process of
motherhood. Brandt utilizes literary elements such as structure and space to directly address an
impacting message to her readers. The integration of transformation in [completely seduced] strongly
influences a connection between reader and speaker by indulging in the aspects and theme of a
mothers unconditional love. Through literary elements and a strong globally experienced theme, Di
Brandt creates a powerfully raw message about the effects of being a mother and raising a child.
Background: Di Brandt is a mother of two daughters. While raising the girls, she attended graduate

The story describes a change in everyday life following motherhood, as well as the seductive
pleasure found in providing for, caring for, and sacrificing for a little one all to see yourself: in the
dark pool / of your baby s eyes (Brandt, 13/14).
The spacing and structure of the poem is set up to allow flow and momentum in the poem and its
narrative. The speaker s voice is present with emotion as emphasised in a natural rhythm of
thought offering an honest and bare interpretation of motherhood. The open blank space of the
poem encourages a calm and breathy atmosphere, fulfilling a mood of tranquility and bliss. Each
stanza is short with a couple quick fragmented thoughts before closing each section with the power
of a single word. Each stanza breaks apart a separate thought filled with a loving passion the
speaker uses to stress the beauty, wonder, and over flowing love present in motherhood. To better
the structure, the poem itself is broken into three parts, each representing a stage of motherhood.
The first segment of motherhood that is represented is during the moments while the baby is still in
the womb and the mother waits in anticipation for the baby to arrive. This honeymoon phase is
expressed with a tone filtered through a perception of rose coloured glasses and excitement as the
mother is in utter bliss to carry a life into the world. The
Essay On Reading Log
Literacy is a very big part of life. A person with adequate literacy skills is more likely to succeed.
They have a higher ability to communicate effectively and interpret important information.
Without literacy, I believe that the world would be a very bland place to live. There would be no
excitement or communication. If we could not read, then how would we learn anything? How
would we know right from wrong? How would we be able to communicate effectively? Literacy is a
very big part of life and without it, we would not be able to be a functioning society. As a kid, I
never had a real interest in reading. I would dread when I was assigned a reading assignment. Every
night, in elementary, we did this paper called a Reading... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When I was in 7th grade, my friend always had her face buried in a book. There was this one book
in particular that she never put down. She read in the morning on the bus, during lunch, during
recess, during stations, and even sometimes when the teacher was teaching. One day I asked her
about the book and I saw her face immediately light up and she asked if I wanted to read it. I was
hesitant at first but after seeing how passionate she was about it, I gave it a try. The first couple of
days I didn t even touch the book, but one day I was really bored so I decided to maybe read a
chapter or two. At first I was kind of skeptical and I could not get into it. However after the third or
fourth page, I couldn t stop reading, and in all honestly, I was so lost in the book, I didn t even
realize I was that far along. I ended up reading the book in 2 days and I absolutely loved it. I love the
feeling of being lost in the imagery. After I read the book, I had finally realized why she loved it
so much, she could relate to it very well. She was bullied a lot in school, and so was the girl in the
book. The book was about this middle schooler who didn t fit in and she always got picked on.
However one day this girl stood up for her during lunch and then they quickly began friends. I was
that friend. However instead of lunch it was in the morning before school. I felt such a great
connection to the book and my friend. Ever since then, I have had a strange love for reading. My
The Role of Music During and After Puerto Rican Migration...
The Role of Music During and After Puerto Rican Migration to the United States
For Puerto Ricans, music served infinite purposes. It allowed for the formation and reformation of
cultural views and opinions, through the lyrics in the songs. These views were constantly changing,
which in turn fed into the ever evolving identity of the Puerto Rican people. As a vehicle of
expression it stimulated thought and provided a method of communication for the community. In
The Puerto Rican community of New York City the increasing popularity of music indicated a desire
for Puerto Rican based and oriented entertainment but more importantly for national unity. For the
musicians themselves music served as an outlet for creativity ... Show more content on

Puerto Rican society was not devoid of color consciousness or prejudice, but racial categories were
different that in the United States (53). Once on the mainland the musicians encountered an entirely
different system for the categorization of people. A more simplistic system that relied on the hue of
the skin as opposed to facial features, hair texture, ...wealth or occupation (53). Namely those who
had white skin were placed into one category and those that did not into another. The racist
tendencies of the Americans led to the negation of all that was black by the Puerto Rican
community. Puerto Ricans were much more prone to settle in pockets with their lighter compatriotas
than to except external definitions of themselves and move into the black American sections of
Harlem (73). The focus on race does not imply that money did not play an important role in
American society either, however, it did not play a major role in the book.
Glasser employs racially descriptive terms, throughout the book, that are confusing and
unintelligible. These terms are found frequently, although they are not previously explained. Often
the term itself describes two different groups. One such term is white which at one point means
North American and yet on other occasions it means a Light skinned Puerto Rican. Within the span
of two pages Glasser speaks of latin relief bands that were made up of whites only (76). The clear
implication here is that the Latin
