L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake is a

Woody Aquatic fragrance for men. L'Eau d'Issey Pour
Homme was launched in 1994. The nose behind this
fragrance is Jacques Cavallier. Top notes are Yuzu,
Lemon, Bergamot, Lemon Verbena, Mandarin Orange,
Cypress, Calone, Coriander, Tarragon and Sage; middle
notes are Blue Lotus, Nutmeg, Lily-of-the-Valley,
Bourbon Geranium, Saffron, Ceylon Cinnamon and
Mignonette; base notes are Tahitian Vetiver, Musk,
Cedar, Sandalwood, Amber and Tobacco.

Issey Miyake uses very unusual and rare materials in order to create
perfumes that evoke the sense of timeless freedom and serenity.
L\'Eau d\'Issey Pour Homme was created as a universal Eau de
Toilette perfect for any occasion.

L\'Eau d\'Issey for Men is a woody aquatic fragrance with yuzu as

in top notes, along with notes of bergamot, lemon and tarragon. A
middle note is spicy and woody: nutmeg and water lily are an
exciting and unexpected accord in this composition. An end note
carries an intense woody scent which is sharp and enriched with
tobacco,sandalwood, cedar, vetiver and musk. It was created by
Jacques Cavallier in 1994.

Two editions in new flacons but with the same compositions were
introduced in 2009 - L\'Eau d\'Issey Pour Homme and L\'Eau
d\'Issey Pour Homme Intense. Colours of the flacons - light grey
and dark grey colour of asphalt make an impression of a union of
water and concrete.

Beautiful fragrance & can absolutely be

someone’s signature scent. The Yuzu note
is incredible and so different to all other
fragrances. I must say however it doesn’t
last long & doesn’t project much at all. On
average I get 3-4 hours on skin & 6+ hours
on clothes. But do not let the performance
judge whether you should purchase this or
not, this is an absolute safe blind buy & I
cannot see anyone not enjoying this
fragrance even if it isn’t one they wear
often. The House of Issey Miyake have
some of the most underrated scents out
there and this definitely is one of them.

Got this as a free sample and ended up

loving it. I don't completely agree with the
fragrance notes applied to this one as I'm
getting more of a warm spicy note over
citrus. It kind of reminds me of Sauvage. I'll
definitely get a full bottle of this one.

just got the bottle after searching for a

great summer fragrance. Which is a big
task cause I usually don't like fresh summer
scents, but this one is really good. and I
smelled and compared a lot of them.
It's a complex scent that makes my brain
occupied of what notes it detects every
time a little breeze blows into my nose.

Certainly not outdated, except for the bottle

that shouts 94! But maybe that's also some
nostalgia for some!

Unique but inoffensive. I never tried this

until recently because I assumed it would
just be another garden variety blue/fresh
type scent. Nothing run of the mill about
this one, a distinct fragrance that is
somehow still easily accessible to all
ages/styles/preferences. Definitely more
suited toward warmer weather.
Performance is the only thing holding this
back from being perfect but it does last a
while close to my skin. This has quickly
become my “dumb reach” scent and I’ve
used nearly half of a 100ml bottle after only
a few months.

This has been I guess my signature scent

over the last 8-9 years, or at least what I
have worn the most in `that span of time. I
discovered it from a friend when I was in
my early 30's, probably around 2010 which
I realize is way late to the game for what I
know is a 90's classic now. Before I found
this I wore a variety of 90's and early 00's
fragrances and still did for a time, but this
one I just couldn't quit, Once I bought my
first bottle I would just go back to it most
often. I think I went through 3 bottles until I
moved to Australia and bought my 4th
bottle before leaving.

I know most people think this is a warm

weather scent, but I honestly have had no
issues going a little lighter on the spares in
the fall and winter as well. It has gotten me
more compliments than I can count over
the years. So for me, this is an all-year-
round day and night scent. I can see how
others would think that it's strictly warmer
weather, but maybe it's just my body
chemistry that makes it work for me

The only bad thing I must say now is that

the new bottle I just purchased is definitely
weaker than the last 3 I have owned. I used
to be fine with only using 4-5 sprays all up
and I would be good for 7-8 hours no
problem. I've worn this new bottle 4 times
now and the longevity has definitely been
tinkered with, 4-to 5 sprays have only
lasted 5-to 6 hours. So I tried to pump the
longevity and sillage a bit today and used
about 12 sprays for testing purposes, and
my wife, who really likes L'Eau D'issey, said
the opening was way too strong and was
giving her a headache. LOL, I suppose that
I went a little overboard, but the new
formulation, or at least this particular bottle
is weaker. I still love this fragrance though
and will always have a bottle in my
collection.

The clean and invigorating scent of this

fragrance evokes a sense of freshness,
although its fleeting nature and limited
diffusion prevent its presence from
lingering. It is particularly suited for
environments like offices and gyms, where
a subtle and non-invasive scent is
preferred. I personally choose to wear it
outdoors as well, but those who surround
me rarely recognize it, perhaps due to the
altered formula. Also the Yuzu note is
immaculate.

This was a vibe back in the early 2000s and

still smells good. I can still blow the dust off
of this wear it and get a compliment on it.
It's a freshie with a little mystery to it. Still
worth buying IMO. Solid 8.8/10

This fragrance not recommended for blind

buy but yes to me it's a great fresh smelling
perfume with little high on lemon side but
for hot weather it's quite nice and lasts
about 5 hours on me overall my rating is
7.5/10

Tried to like this one. I really enjoy the aqua

di gios. But there was something that was
too sharp in the opening and I just didn't
enjoy it. Wore it in several occasions but I
couldn't get past it. Might be an acquired
taste.

tried, it was pleasant enough to start with,

I absolutely love this scent and the

infamous Yuzu note that carries it. I don't
recall having smelled the OG version, but I
actually love my bottle, batch 1347T9
(2021).
