Been getting into Valentino Uomo
fragrances lately and found a good deal on
this, out of curiosity I picked it this up and
the original. This honestly smells like 1
Million Lucky, but with added tobacco. One
of the most wearable tobaccos for a
younger guy that I would recommend.
Sweet, spicy and delightful on skin. Lasts a
good 8 hours and great for a night out.
Worth it at discount but irrelevant if you
already have Paco Rabanne 1 Million
fragrances.

I love this more and more...I liked it upon
skin test and on paper strip I took home it
lasted for days and days so I decided to
purchase it and after a few more wearings I
like it even more...the red apply bursts off
the top and is what lured me innitially,it
does seem to hide away during the mid
but,thankfully it returns upon the
drydown, just perched on the tobacco leaf.
This fragrance is a lot more unique to me
than people give it credit for... (I own quite a
few so I wouldn't of bought it otherwise) the
mere fact that 4 or 5 of the apparent 'smells
like' nominees dont smell remotely alike in
themselves... should tell you two things;
1. This doesn't really,smell like anything
else
2. Everybodys enterpretation of this
fragrance is completely different.
Is it unique enough to deserve a place on a
shelf? Yes.
Is its performance relative to its cost? Yes.
Is it worth you forgetting what your
favourite fragrance youtuber said about it
the next time you go past it...and spraying
it at least one more time to see if you might
actually disagree with them every now and
then? Yes!

I won't waste anyone's time here with a
long and analytical review of something
that most of you won't even want to try, so
here's the scoop: Smells good.....very
similar to the likes of Armani Stronger with
you and it's peer fragrances.
Here's my rant:
Valentino Uomo (2014) was subverted by
the Valentino Uomo Born in Roma (2018)
range to be more-commercial, and has
since spawned its own flankers-of-flankers
while the original Olivier Polge-penned
scent languishes; this is another such
release that does nothing even remotely
worth seeking out unless you are an
influencer that makes your money hyping
releases like this, and have to spend money
to get your bottle because big designers
usually don't put YouTubers on PR lists like
niche brands. Here's your "latest banger"
for all of maybe 4 months, then forgotten
and discontinued by L'Oréal like every YSL
fragrance these days.
Not only does this scent have absolutely
nothing to do with its coral theme, but just
about nothing to do with anything other
than being an exercise in insanity, doing the
same thing over again and expecting
different results.
I sure hope Jean-Christophe and Nicholas
got paid well for this, and had a good drink
after making it, because I'd need one if I
were them. This is sheer consumer-
capitalist dystopian Hell in a bottle, and the
absolute embodiment of olfactive purgatory
for anyone with a vested interest in men's
perfume.

I test this today and it was a terrible
fragrance!!
Now i'm fully convinced that fragrances
that have bergamot , geranium , cardamom
as main notes are not for me!
It has similarity with Ysl Ultime & Sauvage
Elixir with that fresh spicy who to me
resembles that old men cologne vibes!!
It also has a similar formula to a deodorant
my cousin used to wear 10 years ago ...
Don't take it for granted because the tastes
are different & if you're into cardamom ,
bergamot etc , i guess you're gonna like it!
:)

@RobinFA I own carlisle, red tobacco and
this and this has nothing to do with the
latter two. This kinda misinformation leads
to bad buys

Another fragrance that has received a lot of
hype, and I would say it's deserved.
Opening is a strong blast of apple,
bergamot, and cardamom with a solid
backbone of tobacco. In the dry down the
slightest hint of the fruit remains, but the
tobacco, cardamom, and patchouli are the
stars of the show. The dry down is the best
part, in my opinion. Initial projection is
strong, radiates about 6 feet. After a few
hours, the projection starts to die down, but
there is still a noticeable sillage and
projection within arms length. Altogether
the scent lasted on my skin 10+ hours
before it was completely gone. Overall, very
solid performance. I would say this is an all
season fragrance, day or night. Just dial the
sprays down for hot weather so it doesn't
become cloying. That being said, I would
not recommend this as an office fragrance.
I'd say this is a safe blind buy if you like
sweet and spicy tobacco fragrances. The
hype is real on this one, give it a shot!

Nice scent....weak performance....not worth
it
Lepapihlis 09/04/23 10:15
Very addictive smell i dont get too much
tobacco, mostly smooth waxy apple that’s
so nice.
I give it a 9/10 bc the projection could be a
lil better.
FragranceNut 08/29/23 20:00
First impression: Opens up like 1 Million
Lucky and dries down to D&G K EDP.
Anyone else smells these two in this?
aidan_fragrance 08/28/23 12:16
easily one of my favourite fragrances, fresh,
fruity, candy apple with some tobacco. i
can’t think of a single occasion this
fragrance wouldn’t work in, it’s fresh and
fruity enough to rock in the summer, but the
sweet, woody, and tobbaco make it perfect
for any cold occasion aswell. on top of that
it’s extremely unique and not very talked
about online, making it a great signature
scent.
OHLAWDTOMFAWD 08/26/23 09:44
Really enjoy this. Very youthful in nature
and sharp out of the gate with the apple.
Though the tobacco and aromatics set in to
give some great balance and backbone.
Sillage and performance are both solid.
This is a really good 'going out' style
fragrance.
All season versatility in my opinion, as well
as relatively unisex.
thecologneconnoisseur 08/23/23 01:42
Very nice. It has a mysterious yet
invigorating vibe to it. The opening is sweet
but dries down to a masculine after tone.
It’s perfect for intimate occasions.
Labete 08/12/23 03:23
1:1 Smells like Paco Victory Elixir but toned
down !
Ryahya 08/02/23 00:24
Apple & cardamom opening reminds me a
lot of PDM layton, & I mean a lot...
NobodyNew 07/26/23 09:58
This is a great overall scent.
Designer, the bottle is quite nice and is
unique without being excessive (CH Bad
Boy is what I consider a little too much), the
name is cool although admittedly there isn't
anything really "coral" about it.
Apple note is really nice, the opening is very
solid. The middle is the best though, when
the opening mixes with that tobacco dry
down, it's amazing.
Value is ok, it did hurt a little bit to see the
money go, but I definitely felt like I was
getting good value for what I paid.
I will say, this seems to be either generally
inoffensive with the ladies or an absolute
hit. One or the other, very little in between.
Personally, I wear it because I like it, but the
complementary aspect of it doesn't hurt -
the person who recommended it to me said
this: "I wish my boyfriend would buy this,
this is how I want my man to smell in bed".
My only critiques? Not super unique, but
remember that uniqueness is relative. Most
guys don't wear cologne, and most of the
population don't even know this exists
(excluding the fragrance community).
Also wish it was a little longer lasting and
had a bit more projection, but really I can't
complain. This is definetly intended to be a
very versatile scent that is invited, not
announced.
8.5/10, love it.
