Description of Commercial Terms & Scope of Works

Scope of supply:

➢ Hoist and LT Electrical control panels.
➢ Supply & Installation of Long travel Rails and power supply system for 1 Bay 80 Mtrs.
➢ Transportation of cranes components, long travel Power Supply & Rails to site
➢ Commissioning, Installation of Cranes at site.
➢ One set of owner’s manuals in English.
Terms and conditions
a) Following items are not included in our offer and to be at Client’s account.
➢ Exclusions.
• Mobile Crane / Man Lift for Erection & installation of long Travel rail & busbar & EOT Crane.
• Crane Runway beams and its alignment any Civil / Structural Work.
• All Civil & Structure Work Under Customer.
• Roof Opening for Installation if required.
*If roof not opened then any damage to the roof by the mobile crane operator is not Power
Cranes responsibility - as max height needs to be achieved for erection and safety factor to be
considered
• Cranes’ Storage.
• Main switch and power feed cable (from main switch up to power supply system level)
• Incoming cabling to the main isolator switch.
• Building Platforms; Ladders or any other civil work
• 3rd party load testing & test weight.
➢ Supply and fixing of main isolator and connecting cable up to the feeding point of power supply
System.
➢ Three phase main power supply (Three phase power supply) and power cables from Distribution
board to the main Isolator of the crane.
➢ Power supply during erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning.
➢ Any Warning signs / Barricading requirements as required by safety dept.
➢ Any special / Off road transport for remote site access.
➢ Gate pass or entry passes for our personnel during transportation of crane, erection, installation,
commissioning, and testing of cranes at site.
➢ Any specific item, which is not covered in our scope of supply/work.
b) Our prices above are for single mob – demob. Extra charges will be applicable for additional mob
demob.
c) Customer has to provide the paint for touch-up on the welded marks on the runway beam for any welding
activity.
d) Suitable site access during erection and installation as per our recommendation to be provided by the
client.
e) In case of non-availability of site for erection as per agreed schedule, suitable storage area along with
unloading and reloading, extra transport (if required) shall be provided by the client.
f) Where crane erection is in our scope, Any Client or Third-party liability insurance during erection of our
cranes is not covered by us.
g) Spares are not included in this offer, which can be quoted up on request.
h) Delivery period stated applies from the below milestones (whichever comes later),
i) Date of receipt of confirmed Purchase order.
j) Receipt of down payment or an acceptable letter of credit.
k) Approval of General Arrangement (GA) drawing, which will be submitted within one week from the order
date and approved building drawing receipt.
l) Any Delay Due to Unavailability of Gate pass And Site Access Shall Be Charged 3500 SAR Per day.
m) Delivery period stated based on current dispatch schedule for crane components from OMIS, which may
vary based on production load in their factory in ITALY. Actual delivery will be based on OMIS kit
dispatch schedule at the time of ordering.
n) The delivery period stated in our offer doesn’t include installation time required for installing the cranes.
The installation time solely depends on the availability of site for continuous installation of cranes & also
the site readiness/Site access.
o) Any access time consumed for installation, commissioning & Load testing of the Cranes for reasons not
attributed to Power Cranes Industrial Company shall be at additional cost to the Buyer.
p) The equipment we propose is designed in accordance with relevant European Norms, FEM and DIN
standards, in conjunction with OMIS and Power Cranes Industrial Company in-house quality,
documentation, welding procedures, electrical specification, painting and drawing systems, these
systems are assessed to ISO9001-2008. Further information on these systems is available on request.
We do not necessarily comply with any other specifications supplied with the enquiry. Any drawings and
technical information provided by Power Cranes Industrial Company prior to receipt of order are to be
considered for quotation purposes only and not binding in detail.
q) Order cancellation is possible only within 2 weeks from the order date, subject to cancellation charges
based on the Engineering and job progress, minimum 10% of the order value.

Note Changes
➢ In case equipment will not be collected immediate after its readiness due to any reason not accountable
to Seller, we will have to send the Equipment for external Storage in order to keep our production flow
running. Associated costs related out of this procedure for handling, preservation and storage shall be
back charged to client at actual against proof of invoice.

➢ The crane is not designed for carrying human, chemical liquids, hot liquids and dangerous explosive
materials.
➢ Any changes towards our offer or changes after order + approved General Arrangement drawing are
subject to review and if needed commercial amendment of order in terms of price and delivery time.
➢ If the crane is run above the rated capacity, then the warranty shall be void by default.

The following documentation in Electronic Format (by email or as a CD) is included within our offer for each

➢ 1 x Crane general arrangement drawing.

• The design and construction of the hoist, historically arrives well after the
creation and development of winch lifting systems and has been conceived
essentially for the following reasons:

• Hoist is therefore not a lifting device that allows the achievement of a

higher level of performance or reliability or sturdiness, but mainly a compact
solution, in three different configurations aimed at maximizing the lifting height
and with the possibility of being installed on single-beam cranes.

• On the other side OMIS winches are characterized by a particularly robust

construction which makes it suitable for even the most severe services and the
most difficult working environments.

• In over 50 years, OMIS has developed considerable experience in the

design and construction of the various components, using cutting-edge
technology for machining the mechanical elements (gearbox, rope-winding
drum and frame), choosing an hydraulic brake shoe separate from the motor ,
a high-performance electric motor and finally a leading brand of electrical
equipment. Finally creating a product of great reliability and maximum

 The main advantages of the winch compared to the hoist in terms of maintenance are:
- All components are visible and easily accessible
- There are no elements requiring difficult disassembly to be checked (in a hoist you can not check the state of
coupling between the motor and the reducer or between the reducer and the drum or the state of wear of the

- It is not necessary to place the trolley on the ground and/or to disassemble the entire unit for std maintenance
