“A Visit to the Hospital”

Last week, Sarah fell off her bicycle and hurt her leg. Her mother took her to the hospital right away. When they
arrived, a nurse helped them check in at the reception desk. Then, they waited in the emergency room. After a
short while, a doctor called Sarah’s name.

The doctor asked Sarah how she was feeling and checked her leg. He said she needed an X-ray to see if the
bone was broken. A nurse took Sarah to the X-ray room. Luckily, the X-ray showed that her leg was not broken,
but she had a bad sprain. The doctor wrapped her leg in a bandage and gave her some medicine.

Sarah had to use crutches for a few days and rest at home. She was happy that she didn’t need a cast or surgery.
