🩸 NOTICE: BLOOD DONATION CAMP 🩸


📢 All Eligible Medical Students are Invited to Participate!
Help save lives by donating blood. Just one donation can save up
to three lives.

✅ Donor Eligibility Criteria:


Age between 18 – 65 years
Minimum weight: 50 kg
Hemoglobin: ≥ 12.5 g/dL
No recent illness (cold, fever, infections)
Minimum gap of 3 months since last blood donation
No alcohol or smoking 24 hours prior
No recent tattoos/piercing (within 6 months)

📌 Instructions for Donors:


Carry your Student ID card
Eat a light meal and drink water before donating
Wear clothes with sleeves that can be easily rolled up
Rest for 10–15 minutes after donation
Avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day

🩺 Medical Supervision & Safety Assured


Sterile equipment, proper screening, and on-site medical team
available.

🎁 Certificate of Appreciation will be given to all donors!

🩸 MODEL MAKING COMPETITION – RULES 🩸
Team Size: Maximum of 2-3 participants per team.
Theme: The Blood Donation Journey
Working/Static: Both working and static models are
allowed. If working, the mechanism must be clearly
explained.
Explanation: Each team must present and explain
their model to the judges within 3–5 minutes(extra
time will not be provided)
Labeling: All parts of the model should be clearly
labeled.
Setup Time: Participants will be given a specific time
slot for setting up their model.
Judging Criteria: Innovation, relevance to theme,
clarity, creativity, and presentation. Judges will be
final and binding.

SPEECH COMPETITION – RULES & REGULATIONS
Theme: Blood Donation: Amenable Over Strepidation
Speak to inspire. Speak to save.

🎯 Objective:To raise awareness and promote voluntary blood donation


through powerful student voices that replace fear with facts and empathy

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.The competition is open to students of mbbs ug, pg , ahs , nursing and


physiotherapy.
2. Speeches must be delivered in English and must reflect the given
theme.
3. Each speech must be between three to five minutes. A warning bell will
ring at the fourth minute and a final bell at the fifth.
4. Judging will be based on content and relevance (30), delivery and
confidence (25), language and grammar (15), and creativity and impact (30),
totaling 100 marks
5. Only original content is allowed. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification
6. Participants are not allowed to use props or multimedia. Cue cards may
be used, but reading from a paper is discouraged
7.All participants must arrive at the venue at least thirty minutes before
the event begins
8.The decisions of the judges will be final. Respectful behavior is expected
at all times

SHORT VIDEO COMPETITION – RULES & REGULATIONS
Theme: "Give blood, give hope: together we save lives”

🎯 Objective:Create a short, impactful video (maximum 1.5 minutes) that


encourages blood donation and shows how blood connects us all and saves
lives.

RULES AND REGULATIONS


1. Eligibility:
Open to all students, interns, postgraduates, and faculties of SSSMCRI.
Individual or group participation allowed (max 6 members per team).
2. Video Duration:
Maximum length: 1 minute 30 seconds (90 seconds).
Exceeding the time limit will lead to disqualification.
3. Language & Subtitles:
Languages allowed: Tamil, English, Hindi.
English subtitles are required if the video is not in English.
4. Format:
Must be in MP4 format.
Horizontal or vertical video allowed.
Minimum resolution: 1080p.
Clear audio is essential.
5. Submission:
Deadline: 10/06/2025
