THE TECHNOLOGY OF EYES

Seeing angels is easy.It is simply based on

the technology of the eyes.In Matthew 6,verses
22 to 24,Jesus explains this wondrous
technology this way:

Matthew 6:22-24 (VOICE)

22 The eye is the lamp of the body.
You draw light into your body
through your eyes,and light shines
out to the world through your
eyes. So if your eye is well and
shows you what is true,then your
whole body
will be flled with light.23 But
if your eye is clouded or evil,then
your body will be filled with evil and
dark clouds.And the darkness that
takes over the body of a child of
God who
has gone astray—that is the deepest,
darkest darkness there is.

You see,our eyes are an incredible biological

wonder,constantly taking in light and projecting
images onto the retina just as it does your spirit.
This same process that provides the foundation
for how a digital camera works is the same process
that was also there from the beginning of time,
controlling how luminaries managed to work,
walk,and talk with angels on a daily basis.
Humans stumble upon the substrate of a glimpse
of eternity and call the copy science.It humours
spirits.

Now,without being overly technical,I will

explain the process of how the digital camera
works and also how our natural eyes work.Please
stay with me as I expound on these
technologies, and you will be amazed how what
seems to be nothing becomes a whole thing
when I,by the Spirit,show you how to use
your eyes to see angels.Stay with me on this.

Notice that a digital camera is an extraordinary

device that captures the world around us with
great precision and detail.However,most people
don't know how these technological wonders
work,let alone know how they have been a copy
of how we can see angels.The camera captures
photos by harnessing the power of light and
technology to produce stunning images that can
be edited and shared with others.At the heart of
every digital camera is the lens,which focuses
light onto a sensor,a rectangular grid of millions

of tiny light-sensitive elements called pixels.As

light hits cach pixel on the sensor,it gets
converted into a tiny electrical charge or
signal using cither a charged-coupled device
(CCD)or a complementary metal-oxide
semiconductor (CMOS).Are you with me
so far?Lets
continue.

Now,this is where the camera's image processor

comes in.Think of the image processor as a
skilled artist who takes tiny,scattered puzzle
pieces(pixels)and transforms them into a
stunning work of art.Thats exactly how a digital
camera's image processor operates!First,it
examines each pixel to determine its brightness
and colour.Then,the processor arranges the
pixels in the right order and smooths out any
rough edges or noise.It also enhances the colours
and sharpens the details to make the image
pop.
Once the picture looks great,the processor
compresses it to save space.Finally,the fully
processed image is saved as a file that you
can view on the camera's LCD screen or transfer
to a computer or other device and share.

Capturing an image is just the beginning.

Modern digital cameras also offer several features
and settings that allow users to customize their
shots to perfection.For example,aperture refers
to the size of the opening in the lens that lets light
in and affects depth of field.Shutter speed
determines how long the cameras shutter stays

open,which can create motion blur or freeze

action.

ISO is another feature that proves useful.ISO

stands for International Organization fo,
Standardization.In photography,it is a measure
of the sensor's sensitivity to light.Adjusting it can
help capture photos in low-light conditions.
Finally,white balance a justs the colour
temperature of the image to compensate for
different lighting conditions.

The images captured can also be edited

using various photo editing software to
enhance or change the original
image.Together,these settings and features give
photographers greater control over their shots
by customizing the camera's settings to
achieve specific results depending on the
environment they are in or the type of photo
they wish to take.The digital camera is a
marvel of technology that allows us to capture
the beauty and wonder of the world
around us.

Now I must say more technology is in the

pipeline around the world,but this camera
technology,as remarkable as the technology of a
digital camera is,it pales in comparison to the
wonderful technology of the eyes.Just as a
camera lens allows light to enter and focuses it

onto the flm or sensor,our eyes allow light ti
enter and focuses it onto the retina.In both
cases,
the result is an image that we can see and

interpret.I will explain,so please stay with me

and dont get bogged down with terminology.All
I am doing is laying a foundation that will
help open your eyes to angels around you.

The Process of Seeing

As aforementioned,the technology that helps us

see angels is the technology of the eye.However,
the eye is not a small part of the body but a
complex and amazing organ that captures light
and sends signals to the brain that are then
interpreted into the images we see.So,the
process of seeing is a combination of the eye's
physical properties and the brain's processing and
interpretation of the signals received from
the eye.

The process by which a digital camera captures

an image simply mimics how our eyes
work.So, let's look at several important
components of the human eye that work
together to help us see. When we see the
way this operates,we delve straight away into
you seeing angels.This is why this made it into
booklet series.It's all because the Lord allowed
me to condense information in a boot camp
sort of structure,so you have a quick way of
experiencing this wonder of seeing angels
fast!

The Marvellous Mechanics of

the Human Eye

We will briefly discuss the key components of the

human eye in simple terms and compare them
to the components of a camera to give a better
idea of how our eyes function as you would have
them move straight into seeing angels and
conversing with them as a man speaks to his
friend.

This is how the eyes work according to science:

The Cornea
The cornea is like the window of the eye that lets
the light in.It is the transparent front cover of the
eye and has a curvature that is crucial in bending
light rays to focus them on the retina.A camera's
equivalent to the cornea is the lens,which also
focuses light onto the flm or sensor.The cornea
makes up about two-thirds of the eye's overall
focusing power.

The Iris and Pupil

The iris is the coloured part of the eye that
regulates the amount of light entering the eye.It
opens and closes like the diaphragm of a camera
based on the brightness of the environment.With
increased brightness,the iris contracts,and the
pupil becomes smaller to reduce the amount of
light entering the eye.Conversely,in a darker
environment,the iris relaxes,and the pupil
becomes larger to allow more light in.The

aperture of a camera works the same

way, controlling the amount of light that hits
the film
or sensor.

The Lens

The lens is a clear,Hexible structure behind the

pupil that fine-tunes the focus of light onto the
retina.It is capable of adjusting its shape
to change the magnifcation of the
image.The ability of the lens to change
shape is called accommodation.This is crucial
because it allows us to see objects at
different distances with clarity.A camera's lens
has the same function, changing shape to
adjust the focus for sharp images.

The Retina
The retina is made up of light-sensitive cells that
convert the light that enters the eye into electrical
signals that the brain understands as images.
Sound familiar?It is located at the back of the
eye and contains two types of cells:rods and
cones. These cells work together to transmit
information about the image we see to the
brain.The retina is like the flm or sensor of a
camera,recording the image that the lens has
focused.

The Optic Nerve

 The optic nerve is responsible for transferring
the electrical signals captured in the retina to
the
brain.It carries the visual information from the

eye to the brain,which then interprets the signal

into an image.The optic nerve is like the
connections that transfer the digital signals from
the sensor of a digital camera to the image
processing unit in a digital camera,transferring
the image data to be processed.

Sight Works with Light

Just as with a camera,everything about how

the eye works starts with light.Since this
technology mimics the spiritually real,it's no
wonder why seeing angels requires the
same.Stay with me as I shed more light.I know it
seems we are repeating the same things,but
these realities in this foundation are
necessary if you truly want to see angels.

Now,in a nutshell,light enters the eye through

the cornea,which is the clear outer covering.The
cornea bends and focuses the incoming light rays
toward the lens.Then the lens further focuses the
light onto the retina,which is a thin layer of
cells at the back of the eye.

The retina contains millions of photoreceptor

cells called rods and cones.The cones detect
colour and function best in bright light
conditions,while rods work in low light
conditions and are responsible for night vision.
These photoreceptor cells convert the light into
electrical impulses or signals which pass through

several layers of specialized cells within the retina

and are sent to the brain through the optic nerve.
How does your brain take the signals from your
eyes to create the images you experience?The
answer is not just scientific,but its also a
testimony to God's design.

How the Brain Creates the Image

from the Signals

As Christians,we know that God has created

everything in the universe.From the stars in the
sky to the tiniest subatomic particle,there's
nothing that God didn't create.When we think
about our own bodies,we realize how intricate
and complex the human body is.Our brains,for
instance,are incredibly complex and powerful.
They have the ability to process millions of
signals from our sensory organs every second and
provide us with a seamless experience of the
world around us.But have you ever wondered
how our brain takes the information from our
eyes and uses it to produce the desired image?
Let's delve into the fascinating process of how
our brain utilizes light to create
images.However, keep in mind that the
technology of eyes as they relate to light is what
makes you have an image in both realms,the
spiritual and the physical.

First,let's begin with a brief overview of how

light works.Light travels in straight lines,and
when it hits an object,it gets reflected and
refracted.Our

eyes work by collecting the reflected light from

objects around us and transmitting it to the
brain. The brain then receives these signals
and uses them to form an image of the
object.But here's the thing:the image that we
see is actually
inverted!

Yes,you read that right.The image that forms on

our retina is actually upside down.But then,how
do we see things the right side up?Well,the brain
has a pretty neat trick up its sleeve.It inverts the
image yet again so that we see it the right
way. This happens in the visual cortex,the part
of the brain responsible for processing
visual
information.

The visual cortex is divided into different

areas, each specializing in processing different
aspects of visual information.Neurons in the
visual cortex respond to light in specific ways
and send signals to each other to form a
complete picture. The signals that are received by
these neurons are then used to create an image in
our minds.

But that's not all.The brain also has to combine

the information from both of our eyes to form
a single image.This process is called
binocular vision and allows us to perceive
depth and distance.So,while our eyes may be
seeing two slightly different images,our brain
combines the information and presents us with
one complete image.Are you getting this?

Another interesting thing to note is that the brain

is also responsible for filtering out unnecessary
information.This is why,for example,you only
see one image of your nose when you look down
rather than two.Our eyes see a lot more than
what our brain processes.The brain has to
determine which information is relevant and
which isnt.For instance,as you'te reading this
book,your brain is filtering out the background
noise and focusing only on the words on the page.

In addition to its physical capabilities,the eye has

an interesting way of adjusting to different light
levels and shapes.The pupil changes size to
adjust the amount of light entering the eye,and
the lens shape adapts to focus on near or far
objects.Overall,the eye is a remarkable organ
that works in tandem with the brain to provide us
with sight.

Light Shapes Everything

As I refect on the remarkable similarities

between a digital camera and the human eye,I'm
struck by the incredible power of light to
transform our world and the way we see
it.We've explored how the eyes capture light
to create images and how a camera does
the same. Remember,the technology of a
camera is simply copying the technology of the
eyes and also the spiritual.

Light is what takes the shape and colour of the

thing that is being captured by the lens.As long
as light cnters the lens,an image enters the lens.
Everything is produced by light.The light that
enters the camera and the eyes is what
is responsible for producing the image.
Notice what the scripture we read at the
beginning of the chapter says:

Matthew 6:22 (VOICE)

The eye is the lamp of the
body.You draw light into your
body through your eyes,and light
shines out to the world through
your eyes.…

This tells us that the lamp or light of the body is

the eye.The light that enters determines what
is produced-the image that “shines out.”This
idea of light entering is particularly relevant to
seeing angels.As I said at the beginning,seeing
angels is easy.As we continue our exploration
of how the technology of eyes gives us the
ability to see
angels,we're about to see there's more to light
than what meets the eye.
 TWO
THE ENTRANCE THAT GIVES
LIGHT

The key,method,and means to seeing angels is

the entrance of light.I know you were expecting
some long,drawn-out answer,but that is it!
The Bible says it this way in Psalm II9,verse
I3o:

Psalm 119:130
The entrance of thy words
giveth light …

Can it really be that simple to see angels?

Emphatically yes!Seeing angels should not be a
miraculous event for a Christian.No,sir!No,
ma'am!Seeing angels should be as normal as
seeing the postman delivering mail.

The Truth About Angels

Do you know what angels really are?Yes,if you

look at the word 'angel'literally,you
will understand that they are messengers.The
word

comes from the Greck dngelos,which means a

messenger,envoy,or ome who is sent.But there
is more to it.

Let me take you to the Scriptures and show you

exactly what angels are.Go with me to the book
of Hebrews,chapter I,and verses I3 and I4.It
reads as follows:

Hebrews 1:13-14

13 But to which of the angels said

he at any time,Sit on my right
hand, until I make thine
enemies thy footstool? 14 Are
they not all ministering
spirits,sent forth to minister for
them who shall be heirs
of salvation?

Verse I3 makes it clear that what is being said

refers to angels,but verse I4 is where I want
to draw your attention.

Are they not all ministering spirits,

sent forth to minister for them
who
shall be heirs of salvation?

Notice how angels are classified -they are

“ministering spirits.”Take note also of who they
 are sent to minister for -“heirs of salvation.”If
you are a Christian,that's talking about you!

Now,let's go back because there is something

I don't want you to miss.

The Word of God tells us that angels are

"ministering spirits;"they are employed in
ministering.They are here to perform a service.
In other words,angels are sent to work.They are
not here to minister to you but to work for
you. What does that then mean?It simply means
they are your workers-your employees!

Notice,it does not say that some angels are

ministering spirits,but all!Does that mean that
the high-ranking archangel Michael works for you
specifically,or that the same angels that work for
me also work for you?Not necessarily.My
assignment requires me to have angels that
carry out what I need them to do for my
assignment.
You have your own.The point is you have
angels that God has employed and
deployed to
serve you.

Seeing Angels Should Not Be

Extraordinary

Now,if you own a business (and you should own

at least one business),would it be a miracle or
extraordinary for you to see your own
employees? Would you go out on an
assignment,see your workers,and then run back to
church to testify that you had just seen one of
your workers?Of course

not!You've looked into your documentation and

know that this one or that one works for
you.You may not know each one by name,but
you know they are your workers.Therefore,whilst
it is good to see your workers carrying out your
instructions, there is really nothing extraordinary
about it.That
should be your normal.

So the question is,why aren't more Christians

seeing angels?Or,to put it more directly,why
aren't you seeing angels -your workers?Here
again is the answer:

Psalm 119:130
The entrance of thy words giveth
light [emphasis added] …

You might say,“I read the Bible every day,and I

still haven't seen any angels?What am I doing
wrong?Where am I missing it?"Here is where
we get to the crux of the matter.Let's revisit the
analogy of a camera copying what the eye does to
see where you,and many others,may have
missed it.

Do you remember that we said the light that

enters the camera or the eyes is what produces
the image?Now,let me point out something that
most people have missed,yet it's right there in the
verse.Most people think light has to be on the
object they want to capture in order to produce
an image.However,this is not the case.Light

does not have to be on the object;light needs

to enter the lens to produce the image.So,if you
are to see angels,it's paramount that you
understand how to get the Word to enter that
will cause you to see angels.I will show you how.

The Entrance of the Word

Since the entrance of the Word gives light,you're

only given light on the Word you have read.No
Word,no light.If you do not have money,it
means that there is no Word concerning money in
you;therefore,there is no light to form or produce
money in your life.If,on the other hand,you read
and understand the Word on money,the light
of that Word is what forms money in your
life.In the same way,if you understand the
Word on healing,healing forms in your life.

Notice,for example,what the Scripture says in

Proverbs chapter 4,verses 2o and 22:

Proverbs 4:20,22
My son,attend to my words;…
22 For they are life unto those that
find them,and health to all their
flesh.

Now,don't miss this.The Scripture says the

Word is life and health to those who find them.
Find what?Find the words that pertain to life
and health.That means there are specific
words

within the Word of God that you can find that

will give you life and health.

That also means that you cannot randomly select

general scriptures and expect light to enter in a
specific area.You cannot study the scriptures on
prosperity and expect the light that forms
healing to be produced or vice versa.No,it
doesn't work that way.The Bible says,“The
entrance of thy Word giveth light.”
So,the light that is produced from the specifc
Word you find is what goes in and forms a
specific image for you and becomes a reality

Light on Angels

Are you starting to see why I said seeing angels

is easy?If you want to see angels,all you need to
do is study a lot about angels in the Bible.This is
the technology of eyes at work.Look again at
the verse we read in the previous chapter
from
Matthew 6,verse 22.It says,

Matthew 6:22 (VOICE)

The eye is the lamp of the

body.You draw light into your
body through your eyes,and light
shines out to the world through
your eyes.So if your eye is well
and shows you what is true,then
your whole body will be flled
with light.

The eye is the entrance to your spirit,and it is

light that gives sight naturally and spiritually.
Remember,it is the entrance of the Word that
gives light,and you draw light inside through
your eyes.The Word you focus on is the light that
will enter.So,if you want to see angels,look for
the verses that talk about angels so that the
light of angels enters.Search out instances
in the Scriptures where people have
encountered or spoken of angels and keep
reading those verses. Keep doing it until enough
light is formed in your system;as the image
develops,you will eventually begin to see angels.

Angels in the Bible

The Bible speaks a lot about angels both in the

Old and .New Testaments.Here are
some references that will help you to get more
light on angels.

Old Testament:
Genesis 19:I-22 -Two angels visit Lot in Sodom
and warn him of its destruction.

Genesis 24:7,40-Abraham's servant prays

for an angel to guide him in finding a wife for
Isaac.

Genesis 28:10-12 -Jacob dreams of angels

ascending and descending a ladder.
Genesis 32:1-2-Jacob meets angels on his way.

yodus 3:2-4-The angel of the Lord appears to

Moses in the burning bush.(See also Acts 7:30.

Exodus 14:19-20-The angel of God leads tht

craelites and keeps the Egyptians at bay

when the Lord brought them out of Egypt

2 Samuel 24:15-17-David sees the angel

thar struck down 70,ooo Israelites with a
pestilence.
Kings Ig:5-8-An angel brings food and wate:
to Elijah while he is in the wilderness.

Psalm 34:7 -David's psalm about the angel of

the Lord that encamps around those who fear
God and delivers them.

Psalm 9r:II-12-The psalmist speaks of angels

who are ordered to guard,watch over and protect
God's people.

New Testament:

Matthew i:20-21-An angel appears to Joseph

in a dream to tell him not to be afraid to take
Mary as his wife and that she will give birth to
JESUS.

Mathew 2:13-An angel appears to Joseph in

a dream and warns him to fHee to Egypt to
escape
Herod's wrath.
Matthew 2:19-2o-An angel of the Lord appear
o Joseph in a dream and tells him it is safe
to return to Israel.

Matthew 4:11-Angels come and wait on

(serve) Jesus after His temptation in the
wilderness.

Matthew 13:39-42-Jesus speaks of angels being

sent forth to separate the wheat (the righteous)
from the false wheat(the wicked)at the end of
time.

Matthew 16:27-Jesus says that the Son of Man

will come with His angels and reward people
according to their deeds.

Matthew 18:ro-Jesus says that children have

angels who always see the face of His Father
in
heaven.

Matthew 22:30 -Jesus says that in the

resurrection,people will be like angels in heaven
who do not marry.

Matthew 24:31 -Jesus speaks of angels

gathering the elect from the four winds at the end
of time.

Matthew 26:53 -Jesus speaks of being able to

command more than twelve legions of angels
(over eighty thousand)at any given time.

Matthew 28:1-7 -The angel of the Lord

descends from Heaven to deliver a message to the
women at Jesus'tomb

Matthew 28:2-3 -The angel's facial appearance

and clothing are described.

Luke 1:26-38 -The angel Gabriel announces

to Mary that she will conceive and give birth
to
Jesus.
Luke 2:8-12 -An angel announces the birth of
Jesus to shepherds in the fields and tells them
where to find him

the shepherds praising God and then go
into
heaven.

Luke 22:43-An angel strengthens Jesus

during His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Acts s:I9-20-An angel releases the

apostles from prison and instructs them to
continue preaching the Gospel.
Acts 8:26 -An angel directs Philip to the
Ethiopian eunuch.

Acts Io:I-8-An angel appears to Cornelius in a

vision and instructs him to send for Peter.

Acts Io:30-33 -Cornelius describes the

angel and tells what the angel instructed him to
do.

Acts r2:6-11-An angel frees Peter from prison

and leads him out of the city.
Hebrews 1:14 -Angels are described as
ministering spirits sent to serve those who will
inherit salvation(Christians).

Revelation 5:11-14-Apostle John describes the

voices of many angels worshipping the Lamb who
was slain.

Revelation 12:7-9-Michael and his angels fght

against the dragon(Satan)and his angels and
cast
him out.

Controlling the Aperture

Now,in our analogy of a camera being likened

to and fashioned after the eye,we mentioned
the aperture.That is the part of the camera
that controls how much light enters.The
aperture functions like the iris of the eye that
regulates the amount of light entering.It
opens and closes depending on the brightness
of the environment.

It might seem strange,but there is such a thing as

too much light when it comes to developing
images.You might wonder how such a thing
could be possible when the light we are speaking
of comes from the Word of God.It is possible,
and in as much as you desire to and should
see angels,it is necessary for you to control
and balance the amount of light that enters
pertaining to angels.In this next chapter,I will
show you exactly how to do that and why it is
necessary.
 THREE
OVEREXPOSURE

Its important to find the right balance of light to

capture a well-exposed image.Overexposure in
photography happens when too much light
reaches the camera's image sensor.When there
is excessive light,it distorts the image.When
a camera is exposed to too much light,it can
cause the bright areas of the image to
become completely white without any
detail.When the spirit is too exposed to one
line of desire,the seeing of angels,there is a
danger of burning the image or for the image
to be blurry or,beyond that,for a different image
to appear.

In camera technology,one of the most interesting

effects of too much light is the creation of
solarization or the Sabatier effect.The light
makes part of the film dissolve,creating a negative
image with strange areas of light and dark.

Similar effects are produced when the human

eye is exposed to too much light.As
Christians,we

value our cyesight not only for the beauty it

allows us to see but also for its spiritual
significance as the "light of the body"(Matthew
6:22-23).However,too much light can be
harmful and can cause discomfort or
even damage our eyes.Light and dark worlds can
also appear to a Christian whose desire to see
angels is now an obsession,so they are no
longer living a balanced life in Christ.
They become malnutritional in other areas
causing demonic
entities to entertain them.

Overexposure of the Natural Eye

Let's look at a few examples of what happens

when too much light gets into the eyes.Bright
light, especially sunlight, , contains UV
(ultraviolet)rays that can harm the eyes'delicate
structures.Prolonged exposure to UV rays can
cause various eye problems,such as cataracts,
macular degeneration,and photokeratitis.

Cataracts,in simple terms,are cloudy areas that

form in the lens of the eye.The lens is normally
clear and helps focus light onto the retina,
allowing us to see clearly.However, with
cataracts,the lens becomes clouded,making
vision blurry or hazy.
Macular degeneration can also be caused by
overexposure. Macular degeneration is a
condition that affects the central part of the retina

called the macula.The macula is responsible for

clear,detailed vision.However,with macular
degeneration,the cells in the macula
become damaged or start to deteriorate.This
can cause
distorted vision in the central field of view.

Photokeratitis,or “snow blindness,”happens

when the cornea is burned due to excessive
exposure to UV rays.Apart from UV
rays,bright light can also cause
glare,which can be distracting,and cause
discomfort or even brief
vision loss.

Effects of Overexposure

So,overexposure can cause the image that is

produced to become clouded, distorted,
distracted,or totally lost.It can create a negative
image with strange areas of light and dark.

Let me pause here to interject a truth about

darkness.Darkness is not the absence of light.It
is light in a negative form.The King
James version of Matthew 6:23,says it this way:

Matthew 6:23
But if thine eye be evil,thy whole
body shall be full of
darkness.If
therefore the light that is in thee be
darkness [emphasis
added],how great is that darkness!

That means overexposure can produce an
image of light in a negative form.Now,what is
true in the natural -in the case of a camera
or the
natural eye-is also true in the spiritual.

Look again at what it says in Matthew

6,verses 22 and 23:

Matthew 6:22-23 (VOICE)

22 The eye is the lamp of the body.

You draw light into your body
through your eyes,and light shines
out to the world through your eyes.
So ifyour eye is well and shows you
what is true,then your whole body
will be filled with light.23 But if
your eye is clouded or evil,then
your body will be filled with evil and
dark
clouds [all emphasis added].…

Notice here what Jesus says:if your eye is well,it

shows you what is true.But what happens if the
eye has been overexposed and is not well?It can
show you what is not true.The Bible tells us in 2
Corinthians Ir,verse I4,that the devil can
masquerade as an angel oflight.

2 Corinthians 11:14
… For Satan himself transforms
himself into an angel oflight.

When something is masquerading,it pretends

to be something it is not.The problem
with overexposure is that the eye may lose its
ability to distinguish what is true.Overexposure
robs you of the ability to detect when
something is pretending to be what it is not.

The Cause of Overexposure

Now that we have examined what overexposure

is and the cffects it produces,we need to look at
the actual cause of overexposure.Notice what
Apostle Paul says in Acts 20,verse 27:

Acts 20:27

For I have not shunned to declare

to you the whole counsel of God.

So there is such a thing as the "whole counsel of

God.”What was Apostle Paul saying?He was
saying,"I told you everything that God wants
you to know.”If Apostle Paul took the time to
tell us everything that God wants us to know,
we,in turn,should take the time to find out,
study,and learn everything God wants us to
know.

When you want to see angels,you find and

focus on scriptures that talk about angels so
the light that produces angels can enter
you.But overexposure happens when one
becomes overly

preoccupied with the subject of angels to the

neglect of the“whole counsel of God.”

Overexposure happens when a person is no

longer interested in learning about everything
God wants them to know.They become cycloptic
in their approach to the Word of God and
obsessed with seeing angels.As a result,they will
not see the angels that they want to
see.Instead, they will get
unexpected,distorted,unclear images because they
are no longer balanced.

The Need for Balance

In z Timothy chapter 2,verse 15,Apostle Paul

teaches us how to fix or prevent overexposure.
Notice what he admonishes:

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto

God,a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed,rightly dividing the
word of truth.

So,to prevent or correct overexposure,we must

study the Word of truth,but that is not all.We
must rightly divide the Word.What does it mean
to rightly divide?Let me explain with a simple
illustration.

Let's say you have a pic.If you cut that pie into
eight equal slices or parts,you have rightly
divided the pic.Rightly dividing simply means
you apportion equal parts.So,when it comes to
the Word of God,you must give equal time to the
whole counsel of God.He requires it.

Notice what the Bible says in Matthew

7,verses 22 and 23:

Matthew 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me in that day,
Lord,Lord,have we not prophesied
in thy name?and in thy name have
cast out devils?and in thy name
done many wonderful works?23 And
then will I profess unto them,I
never knew you:depart from
me,ye that work iniquity .

What is happening here?There were those who

focused on the Word about prophesying or
casting out devils,healings and other wonderful
works,so that was the light that entered them.
However,they were not balanced,so the Lord
says,“I never knew you.”
Some say,“Is there such a thing as too
much ight?”I have already proved it through
scripture out here is another one where God
stopped
prayer,saying it was enough.In Exodus chapter

14,we have the account where Moses took the

children of light out of Egypt at the command of
God.But when he got to the sea,he started
praying for God to save them because in front of
him was the raging Red Sea and behind him the
formidable armies of Egypt with their artillery.
Moses,as a praying man,began to pray,but God
said,“Stop praying to me, Moses.
FORWARD MARCH!”(see Exodus I4:I5).

What?Do you see it?Moses wasn't balanced

here.He thought of prayer,and God said now he
can't see what I have given him.Too much light
in one direction will distort your sight.Moses was
holding on to the stuff he needed to part the Red
Sea with,but his eyes were now foggy;he had
developed spiritual cataracts because of light.
Prayer was excellent,but that was not time for it.
Prayer had light,but that light didn't need to be
added.Action was required.So,to see angels
clearly,y, you needd to avoid and correct
overexposure.

Correcting overexposure means bringing balance

back.Don't only study about angels.Study
everything God wants you to know.You need the

whole counsel ofthe Word to be balanced.If you

don't become 1 balanced, you will
have
overexposure.

How to Correct Overexposure

To corrcct overexposure,you'll need to reduce the

amount of light that enters your sensor or your
spirit.Using the analogy of a physical camera,
you can do this by adjusting either your
aperture, shutter speed,or ISO.

Adjust the Aperture

As discussed in an earlier chapter,the
aperture refers to the opening in a camera lens
that allows light to enter the camera's sensor.It
is analogous to the iris of the human eye.The
iris controls the amount of light that gets in.If
too much light gets in,you can be blinded,or
only that light will be seen and not the
image.It is the same with studying the
Word;it has to be balanced.

When you become obsessed,you are only

focused on one area or direction.You're no longer
studying the Word to see how to live as a
Christian.Instead,you are only focusing on
angels.Yes,you might see them here and there,or
you might not see them at all because now you've
overexposed light.The whole thing is about what
amount of light youre regulating that gets
into you.

So,to reduce overexposure,you'll need to adjust

your aperture to a smaller opening.If you want
to see angels,give some attention to the
Word concerning angels but not all of your
attention.

Narrow the opening and control how much of

that light gets inside.
Adjust the Speed
On a camera,you also have a feature that allows
you to adjust the shutter speed.Shutter speed
refers to the amount of time that your shutter
remains open.To correct overexposure,you'll
need to adjust your shutter speed.This will
reduce the amount of time that your sensor is
exposed to light.

Let me explain it this way.If you take a picture of

moving helicopter blades at the same speed they
are moving,it can result in a visual effect known
as "frozen"or "stopped"blades.This effect occurs
because the exposure time of the camera matches
the rotational speed of the helicopter blades.As a
result,the blades appear still or frozen(stationary)
in the developed image,even though they are
actually moving.

When the shutter speed is slower(longer

duration), there is a higher chance of
overexposure.When the shutter speed is faster
(shorter duration),it reduces the risk of
overexposure by limiting the amount of light.So
your study of the Word needs to be
timed.Either you are slow,or you match what
is in another
realm.
You can think of the iris as the "shutter"of the eye,
adjusting the size of the pupil to control the

amount of light entering the eye and reaching

the retina,which is the light-sensitive layer at
the
back of the cye.This mechanism helps the eye
adapt to different lighting conditions,just as
adjusting the camera's shutter speed allows for
proper exposure.

Overexposure has everything to do with

regulating the amount of light that gets into you.
So,when it comes to the spiritual,adjust your iris
so that the intake of light matches the image you
need to form.Recognize your “set apart”Word -
the Word that is set apart for you so the shutter in
your eye can move at the same time as the image
you are taking for it to be stationary.

Adjust the ISO

The ISO refers to the standards you are
following, aas the name International
Organization for Standardization implies.ISO in
photography refers specifcally to the sensitivity
of the camera's image sensor to light.As with
adjusting the aperture or shutter speed,balance
is key when it comes to adjusting the ISO.

Adjusting the ISO lets you control how

sensitive your camera's sensor is to light.It's like
a tool to help you capture well-exposed photos in
different lighting conditions.However,it's
important to find the right balance because
using extremely high ISO settings can result in
noisier distorted images,while very low ISO
settings may require

longer exposure times or larger apertures to get

enough light.

Equal Parts

Have you ever wondered why some preachers are

rich but sick,or why some wear spectacles,yet
they are not having any other health issues and
are rich?Some preachers are broke,yet they
perform great miracles.How is that possible?It's
all a result of not realizing that the Word is
division mathematics,not multiplication.

Division is the only mathematical operation that

will distribute something into equal parts.
Division allows us to take a quantity or a whole
and split it into smaller,equal portions so you
have equal shares.That is what the Bible means
when it speaks of “rightly dividing
the Word of truth”(z Timothy 2:15).
Just as the ISO is the standard in photography,
the Word of God is the standard for your life.
That Word should not be limited to the study of
angels only.You have to balance the subjects you
learn in God.Rightly divide the Word of truth.
Give equal time to equal parts of the scripture
rather than spending all of your time focusing on
the study of angels.When you give equal time to
other parts of the Word and balance what you
learn,you ensure that your sensitivity to light

the scripture says.

to draw your attention to the word 'ashamed.'It
is derived from a compound word in Greek that
can be translated not disfgured.So,the Word
is telling us that when we rightly divide-give
equal time to equal parts of the Word of
truth -we prevent or correct the formation of a
disfigured image.

The Scriptures tell us that “the Word of

the Lord is pure,enlightening the
eyes"
(Psalm 1g:8).When you accurately adjust your
spiritual ISO by taking a balanced approach
to your study of angels,you will see angels -
the right kind of angels.The correct balance of
the light of the Word will not produce
anything blurred,distorted,or so blinded by
overexposed ight that you can't see anything at
all.You will see angels when and how you are
supposed to see them -a pure image produced
by the pure,well-
balanced Word of God.

seeing angels,we must remember that the Word
of God is our guide.It is the light that illuminates
our path and enables us to see the spiritual world
around us.In this chapter,we discovered the
importance of taking a balanced approach to

another critical factor that cannot be
overlooked.It's a foundational element that is
essential for seeing
angels,and without it,we will be blind to the
spiritual realm.So,as we turn the page and step
into the next chapter,let us explore this crucial

 FOUR
THE RIGHT BACKGROUND

It is impossible for light to create an image

without the right background on which to put
it. This is true whether we are speaking of a
physical camera that captures images on film or a
sensor or if we are speaking of light that produces
images in our spirits.Remember,the eye is the
entrance to your spirit,just as the lens of a
camera is the entrance to the sensor,and it is
the light that creates the image both naturally
and physically. As long as light enters,an
image is created. However,regardless of how
much light enters, you need the right
background.to capture the image.To put it
another way,without the right
background,there is nothing on which to print
the image.

The right background is paramount

because revelation is when what you see
resonates with the image that has already been
created in your spirit.Something in you has to
identify with what you're seeing.That
something is what I'm

referring to as the background where the image

created by light is imprinted.So,what is it that
creates this critical background?It is the Word
of God.

The Standard

There is a saying that goes,“If you don't stand for

something,you'll fall for anything.”This is
especially true when it pertains to spiritual
things.When it comes to seeing angels or
anything that pertains to the spiritual realm,you
should have a solid foundation with Christ,
making the Word of God the standard for your
life.The Word helps you develop what I call your
“non-negotiables,”a certain standard from which
you never deviate,no matter what.

Skilled photographers use visual assessments to

determine the accuracy of what they're seeing.
Their eyes are trained to judge the overall
composition,exposure,colours,and sharpness of
an image.They can compare it to their visual
memory and artistic intent to determine if the
image accurately represents the scene they
intended to capture.However,this is not a
failproof way to determine the accuracy of what
you're sceing when it comes to angels.The only
verifiable way to determine if what you are seeing
is genuinely of God is to use the gauge of the
Word.

Revealing the Masquerade

The Word of God is a discerner.This is what the

Scripture tells us in Hebrews chapter 4,verse I2:

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick,and
powerful,and sharper than any
twoedged sword,piercing even to
the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit,and of the joints and
marrow,
and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the
heart [all emphasis added].

The Word is a discerner.That means it is skilled

in judging:It is a decisive,discriminative
discerner.What the natural eye and mind can
miss,the Word will never miss!Notice also that
the Word authenticates the heart.It does not say
your heart only.So,the Word is not limited to
your thoughts and intents only but is capable of
discerning,discriminating,and judging anything
that is presented on its canvas.

Do you recall that we read in 2 Corinthians

II, verse 14,how the devil can masquerade as
an angel oflight?Let's look at that again.
2 Corinthians 11:14

With that verse in mind,I want you to imagine

this -I say 'imagine,'but as you follow the
principles in this book,you will see
angels.Now, lets say you see an angel.He
appears to you dressed in brilliant
white,and his face is beautiful,dazzling
like lightning.Everything about him looks the
way you would expect an angel to look.A
visual assessment alone would not be enough to
determine if you're looking at a bona fide angel
of the Lord.

Then he speaks to you.His voice is

commanding and authoritative,as you might
expect.The sound of his voice is everything you
imagined it would be,but that is also not an
accurate gauge that you are looking at a
messenger from God. The only way you can
accurately judge what you are seeing and hearing
is by the background -the Word of God in you.

Look at what Apostle Paul says in Galatians i:8:

Galatians 1:8
But though we,or an angel from
heaven,preach any other gospel
unto you than that which we have
preached unto you, let him
be
accursed [all emphasis added].

Let's take our time and look at this one carefully.

Apostle Paul was visited on multiple occasions by
angels,so seeing angels was nothing new for him.
So he cautions from a place of experience and
authority:if an angel from Heaven preaches any
other Gospel other than what Paul received from
the Lord,that angel should be
“accursed.”Now, that is an extreme
statement!'Accursed'is the Greek anathema.It
speaks of a thing that has no hope of being
redeemed;it is doomed to
destruction.

What Apostle Paul is putting across to you is that

it is possible for something to have the appearance
of a messenger from Heaven.The problem is how
will you know whether or not it is an angel sent
from the Lord?The only way to know if it's an
angel of the Lord is by the words that it speaks
- not by brilliance of light,not by the way it
looks, but by the words.You must be able to
discern that what is spoken aligns with the
Word of God, which means the background of
the Word must already be there

If an angelic being appears to you and

says something out of this world that does not
line up with the Gospel,it is not an angel from
God.As Apostle Paul said,let that angel be
accursed if he speaks any other Gospel.

Tossed To and Fro

Without a solid foundation of the Word inside

with which to assess the image being presented,
one is vulnerable to deception.Apostle Paul
says it this way in Ephesians 4,verse I4:

Ephesians 4:14

That we henceforth be no more

children, tossed to and fro, and
carried about with every wind
of doctrine,by the sleight of
men,and
cunning craftiness,whereby they lie
in wait to deceive.

There are winds of doctrine -strong words that

sound correct,but they are as false as a hockey
player's teeth!There is the sleight of men -
creatures bent on deception and fraudulence.
There is craftiness -not just craftiness,but
cunning craftiness.This suggests a certain
skillfulness and subtility in trickery.There are
also those who lie in wait to deceive -those who
make it their business and look for opportunities
to lead the gullible astray.

The Sure Foundation

If one does not have a background that is frmly
rooted in and established upon the sure

foundation of the Word of God,one can be

fooled by anything.If,on the other hand,the
Word is ever increasing in you,you will be as
Prophet Isaiah declared in Isaiah 54:14:

Isaiah 54:14 (MSG)

You'll be built solid,grounded in
righteousness,far from any trouble
—nothing to fear!Far from terror—
it won't even come close!

Hallelujah!With the background of the Word in

you,you will be like the wise man who built his
house on a solid foundation:unshakeable and
unperturbed!

Matthew 7:24-25
24 Therefore whosoever
heareth these sayings of
mine,and doeth them,I will liken
him unto a wise man,which built
his house upon a rock:25 And
the rain descended,
and the floods came,and the winds
blew,and beat upon that house;and
it fell not:for it was founded upon
a
rock.
Notice,Jesus is not focused on the wise
man's wisdom.Rather,He is emphasizing
the

tha keeps you from being moved.IVo matter
wha ppears in front of you or what words are
spoker you will never be shaken.

The Priority of the Word

Seeing angels from the Lord is an awesome

experience.You should never be deterred o
deprived of that.It is your right as a child of
God to see angels.What we have highlighted
in this chapter simply emphasizes the priority
that must be placed upon the Word
In 2 Peter 3,verses I7 and 18,the
Bible admonishes us to grow in the
knowledge of the
Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:17-18

Ye therefore,beloved,seeing ye
know these things before,beware
lest ye also,being led away with the
error of the wicked,fall from your
own stedfastness.18 But grow in
grace,and in the knowledge of our
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.To
him be glory both now and for ever.
Amen,
We do not pray to see angels.We see angel
pecause of the light of the Word in us
concerning

singular focus.Instead,we make the living Word
our focus.Remember,it's all about light.So,let
the light of the Word increase in you,and you
will never stumble;you will never fall or be
moved by anything!

God's provision.He has seen to it that you
have everything you need for life and
godliness,and He has graciously and generously
provided you with angelic assistance at your
disposal.A lot has been said in these few pages
about angels and the principles that govern how

learned to use them,and seeing angels is my
everyday reality.As you govern yourself by

It's All About Light

seen by the amount and type of light that enters.
This is true whether we're speaking of a digital
camera or our eyes,naturally and spiritually.
According to Matthew 6:22,the eyes are the
lamp of the body.They are the entry point
through which light enters your spirit.You draw
light into your body through your eyes.It is also
through your eyes that you draw in light from the
Word of God.That light is then used to produce
or form the images you desire to see.

That is what we refer to as the technology of the

eyes,a principle that was given to us by the Lord
Jesus Himself.It is this technology that we use
to see angels.This technology is similar to that
of a digital camera,with components that all
work together to capture and interpret light to
produce an image.Light is crucial in both
camera technology and the functioning of
the eyes.
Everything about how our eyes work starts
with light -it is what shapes everything we see
and experience in both the physical and
spiritual
realms.

Seeing Angels is Easy

It is important for us to understand

our relationship to angels.According to
Hebrews 1:13-14,angels are ministering spirits
employed by God to serve Christians as
their workers. Therefore,seeing angels should
be a normal-not

extraordinary -cxperience for every child of

God.However,the key to seeing angels
is allowing the entrance of light through the
Word of God (Psalm 119:130).

The formula for seeing angels is simple and

applicable to other images you want to see,
whether it be health,prosperity,or whatever
image you desire to see manifested.Search out
specific scriptures within the Word of God that
will give you the light you require to form a
specific image which will become your reality.So,
if you want to see angels,look for verses that talk
about them and keep reading until enough light
forms in your system.Let this verse in
Ecclesiastes chapter II,verse 3,be your
motivator as you diligently search the scriptures:

Ecclesiastes 11:3
If the clouds be full of rain,they
empty themselves upon the earth …

As you consistently allow the light of the Word

concerning angels to enter your spirit,it is only
a matter of time before your input becomes
your output,and you will begin to see angels.

Balance Is Necessary

As simple as this formula is to see angels,it is

necessary to maintain a balanced approach.

Otherwise,you risk the danger and likelihood of

overexposure -becoming obsessed with seeing
angels.This was never what God intended
for you.

Naturally speaking,overexposure happens when

too much light reaches the camera's image sensor
or the human eye and causes the bright areas of
the image to become completely white without
any detail or produce a negative image with
strange areas of light and dark.

Overexposure in the spiritual realm is caused by

focusing on one area of the Word rather than
studying everything God wants us to know-the
“whole counsel of God.”Balance is crucial in
order to prevent or correct overexposure.Per 2
Timothy 2:15,that balance is achieved by
studying the Word rightly divided-giving equal
time to equal parts of the Scripture.

Rightly dividing the Word of truth allows us to

control the amount of light entering pertaining
to angels,which is important in order to form
an accurate,non-distorted image.Making
and keeping the Word of God as the standard for
your life is the key to maintaining balance
and preventing or correcting an obsession with
angels.

The Stabilizer
The Word of God is the perfect backdrop upon
which to imprint images.According to Hebrews

4:12,the Word is a discerner of truth;it has

the power to reveal deceptive appearances and
guard
against false doctrines.This is especially crucial
when it comes to secing angels because false
angels can also appear,particularly if the light
that enters is not carefully focused.Never pray
to see angels.To do so would be to ask
amiss because the Word of the Lord is clear
about what angels are,what they are here to
do,and your relationship to them.

To be unshakeable,one must be established on

the reliable foundation that is found only in the
living Word of God.Knowing and growing in the
knowledge of Jesus Christ t ensures

to see and hear in their encounters with angelic

to request,but your right as a child of
God.Tell yourself angels are all around
because,according to the Word of God,they
are.As you do this,you are reinforcing the light
of the Word concerning the reality of angels,and
soon you will begin to
see them.

The angel of the Lord encamps around you -
pitches his tent wherever you are.

The Lord's angel builds a

According to Hebrews I2:22,you live in the

realm of angels.

Hebrews 12:22

But ye are come unto mount

Sion, and unto the city of the living
God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,and to an
innumerable company of angels
[emphasis added] …

This is your reality! Awaken to that

consciousness that angels are there with you right
now.Know also that angels do not appear.They
are already there.It is your eyes -through the
light of the Word -that appear and begin to
see
them.

Interact with Angels

Lastly,angels are legalistic creatures.They take

no initiative on their own.Instead,they respond
to instructions.The Bible says that angels
listen
to hear the Word of God.

Psalm 103:20
Bless the Lord,ye his angels,that
excel in strength, that do his
commandments, hearkening unto
the voice of his word.

Command angels daily.Otherwise,if you do not

instruct them,they remain idle.Just imagine
having angels ready to carry out the Word of
the Lord in your mouth,and you never tell
them what to do.Engage them with the decree
of the Lord!Activate them in prayer.And
when you give them instruction,don't expect the
instruction you gave them today to carry over
into tomorrow, no.Command them every
day,and give them something to do.

A Final Word
