Dear Ms. Nancy Emam Abd El-Aal,

We have the pleasure of offering you employment with our Company in the position of TMC
Transport Planner (Grade – 15) in ABB located at 7 Dr.Mohamed Kamel Hussein, EL Nozha EL
Gedida, Cairo-Egypt.

Your total annual income will be Gross EGP 143,100 (basic monthly salary Gross EGP 9,500 +
transportation monthly allowance Gross EGP 1,000 + a maximum annual bonus of Gross EGP
17,100 according to your scorecard and to the company’s performance).

We would like to point out that all your earnings (i.e., salary, incentives, etc) are subject to the
Egyptian Income Taxes.

In addition, you will be covered in the social insurance plan in accordance to the local labor law; as
well as ABB's Medical insurance plan and ABB’s Pension Fund. More details of the plan will be
provided upon your joining our organization.

Working hours are defined to be 8 hours per day with an additional half hour lunch break.
According to the Egyptian Labor Law (no.12) for year 2003, clause 80. Exact timings will be
communicated upon joining by your HR Admin responsible according to your work location.

Please note that this offer is subject to your passing our company’s physical examination.

This offer will be regularized subject to obtaining satisfactory responses from the references
provided by you as part of the Pre-employment screening, by ABB or by a third party vendor who
is authorized on behalf of ABB in carrying out this activity as part of the hiring process.

We understand that you will let us know your decision no later than one week from this offer’s date
and that you’ll be able to start work by no later than 1st of April 2018.

In case the employees receives training with ABB entities in other countries during the first two
years of employment, you are committed to spend similar exact duration of employment back in
home country (Egypt) after the completion of the training.
Otherwise, he will be liable to pay for training and development actual cost as defined by ABB
Management.

This offer is subject to your commencement of employment on the exact date mentioned above,
and to completing the hiring documents before joining the organization. If not done, this offer will
be void and automatically withdrawn with no need to any kind of notification

Upon signing the contract and starting from your first official day at work, you will be subject to a
probation period of three months. During these three months if your performance is unsatisfactory,
ABB has the right to terminate your employment with one week notice.

If these terms & conditions are acceptable to you, please sign both copies of this letter and return
one to the HR department and keep the other for your personal records.

We look forward to having you join our organization and are confident that this will result in a
mutually advantageous relationship.
