Emmy: Hello, my name is Emmy and this is my partner Nick.

Nick: Hello, I’m Nick!
Emmy & Nick: Today, we are going to talk about Paris.

Emmy: Paris is a beautiful city located in the central part of Northern France. Fashion in Paris has a special charm.
The style here is elegant and stylish.
Nick: Besides fashion, you might fall in love with the cheese!
Emmy: Cheese in Paris is often made from raw milk, which gives it a unique flavor.
Nick: If you walk around the city, you’ll find many cheese shops selling all kinds of delicious cheeses.

Emmy: By the way, do you know about croissants and baguettes?

Nick: Do you know where they come from?
Emmy: Croissants are a popular type of bread in Paris. You can find many croissant shops throughout the city.
Nick: They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can enjoy them with jam or butter.

Emmy: What is the first thing you think of when you hear about Paris?
Nick: It must be the Eiffel Tower!
Emmy: You’re right! The Eiffel Tower first opened in 1889. Since then, around 7 million people visit the Eiffel Tower
each year.
Nick: The Eiffel Tower held the world record for the tallest building from 1889 to 1930.
Emmy: And there is a beautiful restaurant on the second floor in Eiffel Tower.

Emmy: Another remarkable thing about Paris is its café culture, which has been famous since the 17th century.
Nick: People can enjoy coffee at Le Procope — the oldest café in Paris.
Emmy: That sounds interesting! But it's not over — Paris also amazes tourists with the Louvre Museum, the largest
museum on Earth today.
Nick: Is that where you can find the Mona Lisa?
Emmy: Yes, it is! You know, it’s very famous.
Nick: But not many people know that it was once stolen!

Emmy: If you go out of the city, you might fall in love with the Paris countryside because it’s very beautiful and
peaceful.
Nick: You can run through tulip fields and relax.
Emmy: It must be a wonderful day!
Nick: I love water activities. Is there anything like that in Paris?
Emmy: Yes! There’s a boat tour on the Seine River. People can also go fishing there.
Nick: But you can’t swim in the river — be careful, it’s illegal.

Emmy: We’re kids, so of course we love Disneyland — and there’s a big, beautiful one in Paris!
Nick: Kids can enjoy playing games and eating lots of yummy food there.

Emmy: Last but not least, we can also visit the Alpine Garden and Palais Royal. The Alpine Garden is full of beautiful
trees and flowers.
Nick: It’s stunning and peaceful.
Emmy: And the Palais Royal has a unique history.
Nick: We should all give it a try! The palace holds many historical treasures.

Emmy: In general, anyone who comes to Paris will fall in love with it!

Nick: So, that’s all from us today. We hope you enjoyed learning about Paris!
Emmy & Nick: Thank you for listening!
