This study evaluates the hematological parameters of Oreochromis niloticus in tropical conditions at the Santo Domingo Experimental Farm in Colombia. The research found leukopenia, lymphopenia, and thrombocytosis in some individuals, along with instances of normochromic microcytic anemia. The results indicate that high mortality rates were not due to nutritional deficiencies, highlighting the importance of hematological analysis in aquaculture.
