JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS (JSA)

Activity: Installation of Level Transmitter


Project: Revitalisasi Unit CDU – Refinery Unit XX, Indonesia

Instrument: Yokogawa EJX110A – Diaphragm Type, Ex-d, SIL2, IP67

1. Purpose
To establish safe work procedures and risk mitigation for the installation of Level
Transmitter in oil and gas processing facilities, including activities such as lifting,
positioning, mounting, electrical wiring, calibration, and functional testing.

2. Scope
This JSA applies to the mechanical and electrical installation of Level Transmitter Yokogawa
EJX110A in a classified hazardous area, including integration with existing process lines and
control systems.

3. Reference Codes and Standards


- IEC 61010-1: Safety requirements for electrical equipment
- IEC 61511: Functional safety for SIS in process industry
- IEC 60079-14: Electrical installations in explosive atmospheres
