Presentation software is a tool that helps you create


slideshows to share information with others. You can use it to
add text, pictures and even videos to make your ideas easy to
understand.
Examples of presentation software:
 Microsoft PowerPoint
 Google slides
 Keynote
Microsoft Power point is one of the most popular
presentation software used in schools and offices. A
Microsoft Power Point Presentation (PPT) is a group of slides
containing information and media on a particular topic in an
organized manner. A slide contains text or multimedia on a
particular feature of the topic being presented.
Advantages/ Features of Microsoft PowerPoint:
 Easy to use: You can create slides quickly with simple
tools.
 Slide Templates: Pre- designed layouts help make your
slides look nice.
 Add Pictures and Text: You can add colorful pictures,
text, and shapes to your slides.
 Animations and Transitions: Make your slides
interesting with animations and effects when changing
slides.
 Presenting: Shows slides on a big screen made to
present to the class or audience.
