1. Tell me about yourself.
I’m Ayan Chatterjee, a final-year BTech student in Computer Science from XYZ University.
I’m passionate about software development and have a strong foundation in Java and data
structures. I recently built an inventory management system using Java and Android. I’m a
quick learner, enjoy problem-solving, and I’m looking for a role that helps me grow
technically and contribute to the organization.
2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths: I’m a fast learner, dedicated, and have good teamwork and problem-solving
skills.
Weakness: I sometimes overthink small details, but I’ve been working on time management
and prioritizing tasks better.
3. Why do you want to join our company?
I admire your company’s strong reputation for innovation and learning. I’m impressed with
your recent projects in digital transformation and cloud services. I want to work in a
challenging environment where I can learn and contribute, and I believe your company
provides great growth opportunities.
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I see myself as a skilled software developer who has taken on challenging

Yes, I’m flexible and open to relocation or working in shifts if required. I understand it’s
important for the role and company.
6. Tell me about a challenge you faced and how you handled it.
During my final year project, we had a team conflict due to differing opinions. I suggested a
group meeting where everyone shared their ideas, and we agreed on the best approach
collectively. It helped us finish the project successfully and strengthened our teamwork.
7. Why should we hire you?
I have the required technical skills, a strong academic background, and I’m eager to learn
and grow. I’m also a team player who can adapt quickly. I believe I can add value to your
team and contribute positively to your organization.
8. What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy reading tech blogs, playing chess, and exploring mobile app development. I also like
collaborating on small coding challenges with friends.
9. Tell me about your project.
I developed an Inventory Management System using Java and Android Studio. It had two
modules – admin and user. Admin could add, delete, assign IT assets, while users could
request and view assets. I used Firebase for backend storage. I handled both UI and logic,
and I learned a lot about real-world development.
